disappointed
Comment:
This motherboard was included in a bare-bones kit. It was defective. In talking to the manufacturer, they wanted to blame all the other components for the lack of performance. The company were i purchased it from was a pleasure to work with. I returned the item and subsequently bought a different motherboard that worked flawlessly

Nice and simple
Comment:
Works as its listed. All what you would expect for the price you pay. Nice sata ports for all the newer hardware for today. The intergrated sound and graphics board is nice if you don't game and just plan to do things in the office or home. Duel bios is pretty sweet and the CPU was easy to install. If you getting this with the package, but sure to remember to buy a 4 pin adapter for sata plug. The sata plug on the power supply was too short for my sata DVD drive and my sata hard drive. One bad thing is there is no Firewire connector, so you would have to buy one and use a PCI slot

Nice Motherboard
Comment:
The video on this board is impressive. With 4GB RAM and an i3-530 W7 x64 Home Prem., I get a video performance score of 4.8-4.9. The top score category for this build was 6.9 for the CPU, so the graphics drags it down only moderately. You can run Aero with only the motherboard. If you get an accelerator card, I'm assuming it gets really fast. BTW, you can reserve up to 128MB for graphics, which is good for the office and editing software I use for school. I have not tried overclocking, but if you go to their website, you can download a bios update that makes it easier to do so. Good luck if you try it!

Great for Price - Get Separte Video Card
Comment:
This is a great board for the price. Notes for future buyer: No on-board firewire, but this is an easy $12 fix (with a PCI board). There are only 2 ram slots - but it is a Micro ATX, what do you expect? The on-board video is powerful but eats up a ton of RAM. Get a separate video card.

Do Not Buy If Know What's Good For You
Comment:
So, I may have been a fluke with this motherboard, but I ordered a barebones kit that had this mobo and when I tried to install the VGA drivers from the Gigabyte website, I always got BSODs. I tried to send it back for a new one and the same results occurred with the new one too. I know this probably means that something else was causing the issue, but after having waited for and wasted about 3 weeks, I reached the end of my rope and just sent the whole kit back. First impressions mean everything when it comes to this kind of stuff, and even if it was not the Gigabyte mobo's fault, I am likely never ever to buy a Gigabyte mobo again.

Good value, somewhat limited features
Comment:
Great board for the price. Installed in pre- existing system with Intel i3 processor and works great. Only complaint is no firewire, which is a little surprising. But other than that, no complaints.

Hobbled
Comment:
Only 2 DIMM slots limits expandability. So-so audio. As with all Gigabyte boards, the quality is good.

WOW
Comment:
This motherboard is great. It, well marked for the conections. I had no problems installing Windows XP SP2. It was advertised with USB 2.0 but when I got it, the box, install CD and book all said USB 3.0. It is running a i3 540 processor and 4GB of ram. Very quick, but I intend to upgrade the processor it time to an i7.

Decent Board
Comment:
Works as it should. I haven't looked into the overclocking options, but if you're dragging the bottom of the price range, you probably shouldn't be overclocking anyway. Threw in an i3-530 and one 2Gb stick and it POSTed fine. The only trouble I had is XP WILL NOT FULLY INSTALL with less than an SP3 install disk It just bluescreens halfway through. Fear not: you can make your own updated install disk, just search for: slipstream xp sp3.
