Cons:The 6 SATA sockets are facing sideways instead of upright, which makes it rather difficult to connect the cables (I suggest to hook up the SATA cables to the MoBo before you screw the MB to your case).
Pros:A fully loaded motherboard (lots of USB, 1334, eSATA ports etc)Reliable Gigabyte quality great looking motherboard, with all the parts clearly labeled making easy to connect all computer components.AM3 socket and DDR2 based motherboard- so you can upgrade your MB and your processor without having to spend money on DDR3 memory which is really not essential. |

Cons:when installing first few things the comp will restart

the board keeps cool and runs great, support for crossfire and ddr2 memory. supports am2+ and am3. only thing noticed was when installing the first few things like motherboard drivers and antivirus the comp would restart by itself without warning. other than tat this is a great board! |
The MOBO comes with everything you need (lots of cables) and two instruction manuals. Setting up the board and plugging everything was easy, except for the SATA cables. I did have a problem as the computer did not want to boot on my first try. The DOS alarm indicated a power failure, which I thought could be a short circuit b/n the MB and the case since my power supply was working fine. I fix this by changing the location of the expansion e-SATA module that comes with it (moving it up in my case). I don’t need to overclock my system, so I can’t tell you how it would do. It does come with EasyTune 6, which allows you to overclock most component, or if you prefer you can do it through the DOS. I would strongly recommend to anyone who wants to upgrade to an AM3 socket motherboard, but without changing their memory DDR2 sticks. By the way, the boards looks great and is fully loaded for the future. Can’t wait to put in the Phenom II 955 CPU! The computer has been running great for over a month now.NO REGRETS WHATSOEVER!
