GIGABYTE GN-WP01GS PCI Wireless Adapter
Cons:Signal is a bit inconsistent

Pros:Cheap, very good and fast connection, good range
Comment:
Great price. I'm in the basement and it works very good. On par or even better than dell laptop wireless cards. Was having trouble at first connecting, but a change of channel on the router and I was set.

GIGABYTE GN-WP01GS PCI Wireless Adapter
Cons:hmmm

Pros:it works !!
Comment:
First time setting up a wireless on my trusty soltek 75FRN2. decided to go with this one because I read somewhere that it worked in linux.. and works it does.Ubuntu 7.10 recognises it right away there is no need to install any drivers or anythingreception is pretty good considering theres like power outlet and bunch of cables around the small 3 inch antenna. there is one wall, a stove refrigerator, another corner wall and of course a ceiling in the way. the reception level fluctuates between 30 and 70%the box comes with a driver CD and manual with a bunch of languages you wouldn't know existed.overall I am glad I made the purchase. would recommend this card for anyone that is looking to go wireless whether it is for a linux or windows based system.the router I am using is a DLINK DIR 655 (also 5/5 in my books)

GIGABYTE GN-WP01GS PCI Wireless Adapter
Cons:N/A

Pros:cheap cheap cheap
Comment:
I have two usb wireless adapters. One keeps loosing signal and the other is extremely slow. Bought this one after reading lots of positive reviews. Works like a charm. Very fast and stable, even at low reception. The antenna needs to be carefully adjusted to have best reception.

GIGABYTE GN-WP01GS PCI Wireless Adapter
Cons:Absolutely None...

Pros:Price, Brand, Reliability, Stability.

Gigabyte has a winner here, atleast for me and other reviewers. The card has ran for 2 days without a hiccup using the Gigabyte connection utility connected to a Compact Linksys Router using WEP.

GIGABYTE GN-WP01GS PCI Wireless Adapter
Cons:Outdated drivers

Pros:Solid Connection. CHEAP!

What can I say? A $20 wireless NIC that works! Vista, Windows 7, Linux and Mac. Do yourself a favour when you buy the card and download the latest drivers from: http://www.ralinktech.com/ralink/Home/Support/Windows.htmland look for:PCI/mPCI/CB(RT2760/RT2790/ RT2860/RT2890Once I loaded this Windows 7 Beta connected and has run solid ever since!Linux can be found here:http://www.ralinktech.com/ralink/Home/Support/Linux.html

GIGABYTE GN-WP01GS PCI Wireless Adapter
Cons:Some occasional dropdowns

Pros:Good reception, Good distance
Comment:
Overall this product does get a nice reception most of the time, and the router is two floors below. But from time to time, I would say once weekly, the connection will drop  for no obvious reason or pattern.

GIGABYTE GN-WP01GS PCI Wireless Adapter
Cons:-Tight squeeze into PCI slot

Pros:-Price-small footprint
Comment:
It's cheap and it works. Nothing really to complain about besides having to use a little extra force to slide it into the PCI slot. The motherboard was bending when I pushed it in. Well at least it won't fall out easily.

GIGABYTE GN-WP01GS PCI Wireless Adapter
Cons:-limitations of wireless G

Pros:-easy to install-easy to set up
Comment:
bought this for my new system and installed it without a hitch. I don't have any problems with it and it doesn't disconnect randomly. If your gonna game thou, I suggest getting a wireless N network since wireless G results in a massive ping and lag spikes XD

GIGABYTE GN-WP01GS PCI Wireless Adapter
Cons:None

Pros:Price; reliability; support for WPA2
Comment:
Having used a variety of wireless adapters over the years, this product stands out for its low price and excellent performance. I have two other computers in my house that use other brands' hardware and the Gigabyte product works comparably to the others I have installed, and in fact has better reception at long range. If you're looking for a value-priced wireless B/G network card, this is an excellent choice.

GIGABYTE GN-WP01GS PCI Wireless Adapter
Cons:A bit pricey?

Pros:Just works (even with Vista)
Comment:
Bought this card to replace another brand I bought and returned. Works great. Just plug it in and install the software and it works. Very good to excellent signal under Windows Vista depending on placement (25-30', 1 floor and 1 wall away from the router in an old wooden house).

GIGABYTE GN-WP01GS PCI Wireless Adapter
Cons:Didn't find my wireless router right away, although I might have hidden it in the settings. (I can't remember)64 bit drivers didn't come on the CD.

Pros:Extremely easy to set upGood receptionVista 64 compatible
Comment:
One of the best purchases I have made. Would definitely recommend. If you're looking for a wireless adapter that will work with your router, I'd recommend this one. Routers can be finicky sometimes, but I paired this card with my WRT54GL running tomato, and I get a flawless connection, in the same house that is running a wireless phone on the same frequency band. Would buy again.

Cons:None yet

Pros:PriceSpeedReliability64 bit compatibility
Comment:
Does everything I needed it to at a great price, much better than the USB dongle I originally had. Along with my 4 GB RAM upgrade I have to move to Vista 64, at least this manufacturer provides 64 bit drivers.

GIGABYTE GN-WP01GS PCI Wireless Adapter
Cons:not much aside from the really plain interface

Pros:very strong signal
Comment:
This thing uses the RT2501 chipset, i was a bit surprised since my linksys WMP54G v.4.0 that i bought for $60 a year ago uses the RT2500...what a rip that was, at 1st i was skeptical of how good a $17 adapter could be and i was gonna purchase another WMP54G for $43, but i am glad i took the risk. It's a really good chipset with 90dB Rx Gain and 16dB Tx gain on the 2501..not really sure about the 2500 but i am sure it would be inferior since 2501 replaced 2500. The only difference from the linksys is the weaker antenna..this adapter uses a 2dBi antenna vs the 5dBi antenna on the linksys
