-High settings on all of the games that i play (never played crisis or any really new games)-superior stable card when you have the right drivers.-Price tag -Came with the wrong driver disk so i had to go to gigabytes web page to download the suitable ones\-mini-HDMI to HDMI converter is unable to plug into the card because the case gets in way (poor design for converter), but that doesnt impact me utilizing thie card so not worth -1 egg

Seemed like it was a fantastic card, especially for the value. Fans are quiet and graphics looked fantastic for my use. Ran like a champ for 2 months at least. Effectively now after only two months the card has started to fail. Get random black screens which so far will recover and the taskbar gets black blocks in it where the icons are. Pixelation is starting to grow to be extremely pronounced. Had seriously hoped for a card that would hold up superior than this but will just have to jump via the RMA hoops and see what happens.Stinks although because I don't have the dollars to acquire an additional card right now although this goes back!

I originally purchased 1 of these, and liked it. I then purchased a second 1 for SLi and the capability to run 4 monitors out of SLi. Framerates are spectacular. Running the cards at 952mhz񳓘ram, temps stay below 75c though benching with no artifacting. I was hoping the ram would go greater, but that is the absolute ceiling for me.Excellent GB cooler makes OC'ing a breeze. The factory overclock is way too modest and shouldn't aspect into your acquire.Rabate + promo = 100.00 card. 200 if u want SLi.Greatest card out of all the 450 OC's None

Great cost. No installation challenges. Arrived in much less then 48 hours with cost-free shipping. A few corners of the decals peeled back slightly. I pressed them back with no challenges. Probably due to the Las Vegas heat through shipping. This card makes use of the 6 pin PCI-E power connector which is not listed or newegg.com or gigabyte.com. It works excellent and all stays cool with the two fans that rotate.I don't have a 3d screen yet but I hear 3d is really cool so may well get one. I am getting a challenge with a 3d plan known as Modo and its getting complications with this graphics card. I don't think its the graphics card its self but its the update from NVIDIA this is a new card so there is only install for it it functions for a little wile then it stops working.It employed to turn off the screen off then back on and close the plan but fixed that by turning off Aero but there nonetheless a issue but it don't close anymore. Only took a day to get to me with stock shipping so that was genuine good.Could have to send it back and get a GTX card rather which has two installs and i hear functions much better anyway though this one is just fine anyway ought to be able to run max settings no challenge on any game.

Fantastic efficiency for the cost.Incredibly quiet. Comparable to what others have described:Worked beautifully for a couple of weeks but has develop into incredibly unstable despite quite vanilla settings, an ample PSU 麘w) and a case with good ventilation. At first only Fallout NV would trigger it to crash, now Flash is enough get the same behavior. I'm employing WHQL drivers, upgraded to the most recent when the crashes very first began, reverted to old (safe mode yadda yadda)... You get what you pay for, I guess. From what I've read you ought to possibly avoid the GTS450 from any manufacturer. I purchased this card in spite of what I had read about the GTS450.I will try this card in a fresh dual-boot Ubuntu/Win7 box and see if it behaves. I am skeptical.

Incredibly fast. Quiet. Does not require larger power supply. Nvidia's 400 series cards appear to have IRQ troubles that are related to the onboard HD audio board (used for HDMI audio). This issue is not restricted to any manufacturer and has been experienced on various 400 series board. Search the Nvidia forums and you'll discover quite a few threads about 400 series cards freezing. When it works, this card is a great bargain! I've located 1 thread on the EVGA forums that talks about HD audio IRQ problems. If I can't get it solved soon, it'll however end up going back to Newegg.

Inexpensive for the efficiencyI can play my Battlefield 2 Bad Firm all on High settings and other games such as CSS, Left Ford Dead 2...and so onI had an ATI Radeon HD5770 just before this card and I felt like it outperformed this Nvidia card but the drivers for Nvidia are way a lot more stable. If you are looking for a good card for low cost that is powerful and able to play high demanding games (depending on your other components) then obtain this card. Slight noticeable enhance in efficiency from my GeForce 240 512 DDR2. Huge. Only a Con if you don't have the space. I was hoping for a dramatic increase in efficiency from a 240. I can play RIFT on max settings getting about 40ish FPS while in key events or heavily populated servers principal city where I was obtaining 25ish with the 240.

Great efficiency @ 1680 x 1050 playing Battlefield: Poor Corporation 2. The card is huge and the fans are quite loud. It sounds like a freight train has been placed in my case. In hindsight I possibly would have purchased the 460 but I am content with the end result regardless.

Works fantastic when it doesnt freeze the whole method freezes the whole program from time to time. seems to be a driver concern with the 400 series cards that only some people encounter doesnt make sense to rma the card if it may well just take place once again with the drivers.

Quiet, nice cooling. Roughly a week soon after installing, I began having difficulties with my personal computer freezing and needing a reboot to fix. Eventually it wouldn't even load to the desktop. Right after some investigation, I learned NVIDIA series 400 cards are identified to have problems like this. RMA'd to Gigabyte for repair and it was returned in two weeks with no note as to what they did/didn't do. Installed in my comp and it failed inside 2 hours with the similar freezing challenge as just before. Will not be buying NVIDIA once again.If you are taking into consideration this card, do study just before getting to make sure it's compatible with your setup.

My 8800 GTX burned out, so I required a new card. This 1 takes up two slots exactly where my old one took only one, but there was room in my HP case, and it took the exact same 6-pin connector as the old 1. My power supply is 460 Watts which is apparently sufficient. It appears to be perfectly fine for my purposes. I can play WoW at 1680X1050 on ultra settings though watching a movie on the other screen and get 60fps for the duration of combat, although it varies a lot. I haven't played any really graphics intensive games. I also haven't had any use for DirectX 11 so far. The fans are not silent, but it isn't obnoxiously loud. About the exact same as the 8800. Excellent graphics for a low price. Runs Require for Speed 񢉚 version) flawlessly. Also runs high-end 3D CAD software with ease. Won't compete graphically with the higher-end GTX models so if you are a hardcore gamer I wouldn't advocate it. Once more, excellent card for the price. I do some gaming on the PC but generally I'm utilizing PS3 for that. It runs the games at high resolution with no pixelation or lag. It also runs the 3D CAD software I use.

I like the style and coloring. I also like the alternating fans for anti dust. I am not a pc gamer so this is a fantastic card for doing the basic issues in life. I value the card being about 150.00$ here in Japan so I really feel I saved alot of dollars even with the cost of shipping. Havent actually located any yet. I like cheese

Fantastic card, works, and is a good price. No issues with it in my computer. Only con I discovered was when I have a DVI cable plugged in nearest the mini HDMI I can't plug their adapter into the mini HDMI mainly because they ports are too close. Only factor I found that would work is to get a mini HDMI to HDMI cable so you don't have the thick HDMI ideal up in there by everything. Easy fix yet it shouldn't be required in my opinion, they must either supply a far better adapter or fix the spacing. Not a massive deal though.

I put the card in an 3 yr old Acer comp for my son. Case is not very big and it just fits. PS is on top and MB only has 4 slots so Card is very near the bottom of the case. Picked the card because it has 2 fans, hoping it would draw enough air to keep it cool. Bought as upgrade for light gaming to replace NVIDIA GeForce 8600 GS which always ran very hot!It is very quit so far and definatly helps circulate the air as I hoped it would. Very happy with purchase, would buy again.

currently on a sli setup with two of these. do not buy the Oc 930mhz model, this model is identical and it hits the frequency if you just OC it. SLI scale is great, but with the card alone you can't do much. Great for budget setups, get two and you'll be fine.
