GIGABYTE GeForce GTX 460 (Fermi) GV-N460OC-1GI Video Card
Cons: Coil Whine :(

Pros: OC'ed from stockVery quite and cool card
Comment:
Got this during the Scarborough grand opening sale, overall I'm very happy with this card. I can run sc2 on ultra settings (1920x1080) no problem. The card can get hot when playing sc2 but cools down rather quickly.Only downside is the coil whine, but its not very loud and you shouldn't be able to hear it if you use earphones

GIGABYTE GeForce GTX 460 (Fermi) GV-N460OC-1GI Video Card
Cons: Warm air vents into case (moot point w/ good airflow)

Pros: Low Noise!DX11Eye CandyOverclockabilityCool Running
Comment:
Amazing card! Overclocks to 825/1650/2000 easily on stock voltage w/ MSI afterburner & nVidia drivers. I had trouble going over that without artifacting in benchies on stock voltage. Upping the voltage 3 bumps got me to 850. 3D Vantage scores 19,000 w/ my older C2D e8400 v 4.2 GHz on H2O. I bought it for $235 beginning of August. I've always bought EVGA for the past 6-8 yrs of cards/OC'ing and warranty, but enough was enough with their noise, heat and as of late, cheaper PCB quality after having my last vid card die and mobo die at different times from them. Decided this was likely a better card for the money. Glad I tried something different! You wont be disappointed. Noise was a big factor for me this time around as I run a custom Swiftech water loop. For those wondering about fan speed/noise, I built a custom fan ramp graph in MSI Aft. and at 78% fan speed in my pretty quiet case, that's the point I start to hear the cards fans over my case/rad fans. At this speed fully OC'd, I still only hit 53*C max in ATITool. Idle is 29*C k 40% fan. :DBTW, destroys my 8800GT SLI setup! SC2 is set to Ultra on all settings, plus I forced 4xAA on in the nVidia control panel. Guess what? With v-sync on (havent tried off), I still hit 60fps for EVERY FULL GAME OF SC2 k 1680x1050. It never once drops below 60fps, even with the 4xAA forced on! AMAZING. Very glad I picked up the 1GB version as a few times I noticed RAM usage right near the 768mb mark in-game. :) This review was modfied by poster @ 09-09-10 08:23 PM

GIGABYTE GeForce GTX 460 (Fermi) GV-N460OC-1GI Video Card
Cons: A bit large, takes up 2 bays, had to move sata cables to another connector.

Pros: FastCoolfairly quiet
Comment:
Great upgrade from an 8800gt, gaming performance has increased considerably. Runs quiet and cool. So far it has handled crysis and Stalker COP on full setting at 1680x1050 with no lag something the 8800 couldn't do. Anyone sitting on the fence about an upgrade this is the card for you. Works great on pci-e 1.0 with a Q6600 at stock 2.4 with no noticeable bottlenecks. Glad i didn't overhaul the motherboard and cpu as this card was all i needed to keep my pc playing modern games.

GIGABYTE GeForce GTX 460 (Fermi) GV-N460OC-1GI Video Card

Pros: Innovative efficient cooling design ,set this card apart from the competition
Comment:
I upgraded from a Evga 8800 GT .For my basic system, which is a 9450p 2.66 / w 4gb ram, this little jewel brought it back from the dead...I can run Crysis, in all it's glory, with minimum lag, if any...Thanks Gigabyte ,you made my day !

GIGABYTE GeForce GTX 460 (Fermi) GV-N460OC-1GI Video Card
Cons: -Uses more power then a 5850-only supports 2x SLI

Pros: +performs within 7% of a stock 5850 but is around 20-25% cheaper+idles at 24-28C in my HAF 922 and maxes out at 62C at full load+Noticeably quieter under load then my old 5850 and silent at idle+DX11 physics and CUDA support are all pluses
Comment:
I sold my old 5850 to save on money and to try out nvidia's fermis and was pleasantly surprised. This card only performed 7% slower then my 5850 yet is over $70 cheaper, and in SLI is performs even better then a 5850 CF! Astonishingly the GTX 460 is also quieter, runs 16C cooler then my 5850 and is over 1 inch shorter so it will fit in most computer cases without a problem. As of right now this is probably the best performance/dollar video card out there, especially when you puts these in SLI which I plan on doing very soon!

GIGABYTE GeForce GTX 460 (Fermi) GV-N460OC-1GI Video Card
Cons: -None yet

Pros: +Price for the performance+Quiet and cool+Smaller than other high profile cards
Comment:
I currently have a SLI of these two cards and they are running great. Of course, I've only used it to play SC2 so far so it's nothing taxing even on Ultra settings. (One annoying thing is SC2 didn't recognize the cards and recommended medium for the settings which I had to manually changed). The cards are comparatively smaller than my previous ATI 5850, and much quieter too. In SLI setting, the GPU1 will be about 10 degrees hotter than the other cards, so keep that in mind if you want to OC. It does scale extremely well in SLI (95% supposedly from all the reviews out there).

GIGABYTE GeForce GTX 460 (Fermi) GV-N460OC-1GI Video Card
Cons: Well it's based on fermi but seems like nvidia has fixed the bugsLittle pricier than what I'd like No sli adapter in the box

Pros: Faster than my Radeon 4870 512M cardGot the Cuda for foldingDamn this card is quiet
Comment:
Well apon arrival I tore open the box witha childlike excitement. Driver cd, toss aside, manual, toss aside, card in static bag gets picked up lovingly. After inspecting I threw it into my case. Turned on computer... Great, doesn't sound like it's working.. Look at the fans turning.. This card is quiet. I've successfully overclocked this card to 800 core so far with auto fan speed and temps arn't over 60.

GIGABYTE GeForce GTX 460 (Fermi) GV-N460OC-1GI Video Card
Cons: - no tri SLI

Pros: - Scales extremely well in SLI (up to 95% gain in fps)- Runs very cool even when oc'd- best value for money in terms of price/performance ratio
Comment:
I like this Gigabyte model because it has a nice cooler design (dual fans) and is very quiet even when running at 100%. I oc'd mine to 925 mhz and it is stable. I had to increase core voltage a bit with afterburner. Runs super cool (26 degrees when oc'd at idle) temps dont go higher than 65 degrees at full load. This thing competes and even beats the 5970 when SLI'd. Highly recommended.

GIGABYTE GeForce GTX 460 (Fermi) GV-N460OC-1GI Video Card
Cons: None so far

Pros: Ease of installationVery Quiet and coolCard dimensions
Comment:
Card was very easy to install, everything setup without a hitch. Recognized all output devices connected to it, scaled to their native resolutions and refresh rates(Dell2709 and Panasonic Plasma)Card is really quiet even at 70% fan when running MSI Kombuster; haven't overclocked yet, have heard great things on that aspect. Last but not least, the cards dimensions are excellent at about a little over 8", quite a difference from card sizes of the most recent era of gfx cards. Played a little bit of Starcraft 2 ran awesome w 27" 1080p Ultra settings w/ forced 4xAA from the control panel.
