I installed this card in my tower prior to upgrading it from Windows XP to Windows 7. Used the included drivers CD, and it made the card work perfectly for Windows XP. Upgraded the tower to Windows 7 via fresh install, and I did not even have to use the drivers CD. Windows 7 installed its own drivers, and it works perfectly with the Aero graphics interface. This is a great card, and a great value!

i thought i was buying a new up to date video card windows 7 compatable i had a hard time finding a driver that would work i searced nvida website and found out why the video card was built in 2008 that was before win7 was ready i know this because im a beta tester and have been since 2004

Got this card in 2 days. Opened the box, put it in and ran the disc. THATS IT. That simple. I can't tell you much about the specs......I just needed a card that worked and this did perfectly.

Bought this, it arrived. I put it in my computer, now I can utilize my wide screen monitor at a high resolution. What more is there to say?

I bought this card after discovering that the integrated video on my Intel motherboard was seriously dragging down my machine's performance. You should have seen how slow Google Earth or even Solitaire behaved. I selected this particular unit after seeing it listed on the Microsoft website as being Windows 7 compatible and finding that it was a relatively cheap solution to the performance problem. My system really flies now. Good price, easy to install (I let Windows find a suitable driver for it), no drama, it just works. A serious gamer might want to look at something else but for everyday use on Windows 7, it punches the ticket.

I have a low profile computer case hard to upgrade. After some research I bought the GEForce 8400GS video card and I was pleasantly surprised with its performance. CompUSA shipped it in a timely manner and the company's service is and has always been outstanding. There was a CompUSA store near where I live but I am glad that I can order on-line. I get the same superb attention.

The card was easy to install, and my box powered up perfectly. No complaints after 1 month of use. I agree that the rebate process is a big pain. My time and effort is worth more than the $9. I'm getting back. The manufacturer should either increase the rebate, or eliminate it and just lower the price.

This video card performs as I expected in my Win XP machine. No Complaints with the card. My pet peeve is the Mail in Rebates. I have much better things to do than filling out forms cutting out Bar Codes and the like. The Rebates Cos almost Never Honor the rebates or take so long to Process that it's just not worth the trouble. I guess that's the reason they do it. Tiger Direct, Why not do your customers a favor and sell your products, Less the rebates and YOU Fill Out The Forms and Bar Codes.

I Bought this video card so that I could use one monitor for two computers. I bought a new computer with a flat screen and use the video card I bought to run a DVI cable to it. The old computer I ran a vga cable to the new monitor. I am running windows XP in the old and Vista in the new computer.

For the price, it is a great card, good idea is to put an additional cooling fan under it.

I got this card to run two monitors and so far it has ran great. I have a 275 W power supply and it has not been overheating. The card was easy to install.

I'm running windows XP media center home edition. its a 4 year old computer. started using ACAD and needed a video card. this one was CHEAP! like me -- but unlike me this thing WORKS! DVI port makes picture look O SO NICE. and it was easy to install. I highly recommend this product for anyone looking for a good quality inexpensive way to upgrade their desktop.
