I first bought a MSI ATI card and the it started jumping and the new CCC is so confusing (not being a gamer) that I got the Nvidia because I like their complete driver installation process and they always work. They also come out with new drivers, it seems like weekly. My main purpose for purchasing was to edit video with Pinnnacle Studio Ultimate 12. This card displays on my flat screen beautifully. Running XP media center and used the disk to install. I highly recommend this card at a perfect price.

Installed this card into a new build for Windows Vista. There were no drivers for Vista 64 bit on driver disk. Had to goto website to get drivers. Now it works great.

i am an amateur with PC's but found this product very easy to install. It does everything I needed and more. The picture quality is superb. I would recommend it to anyone.

If your looking for a card to get the job done, this is it! Flawless Installation.Put the card in a run of the mill board I have, and it kicked up the picture and video quality noticeably. A great picture even on the VGA output of my current LCD monitor. Will use it on a upcoming upgrade, should prove a worthwhile addition for the price.

I have been thinking about running a dual monitor system on my Dell Inspiron 530 for a long time now. One of the limiting factors was the interface, PCI Express 1.0X16. This video controller had all the features I was looking for with the exception of dual digital outputs. After installing it in my system I discovered I really don't miss the second Digital output in favor of an analog output because of all the features. the fact that it was on sale and had a $10 rebate didn't hurt either. Unless you're a serious gamer you can't go wrong with this video controller.

He was using onboard beforehand. We just wanted a cheap PCIE card that would get the job done, and as far as he tells me, it gets the job done.

Bought this card for my fathers computer because he wanted to play Wolfenstein , card he had was extremely choppy. Uninstalled the old card and popped this on in. Used the NVIDIA drivers directly from their site instead of the ones on the CD the card comes with. Within 10 minutes he was all setup and the game plays perfectly. Thank yout!!!

I installed this product with no problem and loved the graphics quality and performance of the card however one thing I use my computer for very often is watching movies and shows. Unfortunately on the 8000 series there has been a consistent problem with the HDTV orS-Video out. There has still been no fix. Please research this before buying this specific product.

Bought this to upgrade my system and it was an easy install and performs great. At the time of the purchase I was lacking the power source for the bigger version of this but I have no complaints! Know you can get this at a better price than when I bought it. I recommend it! Just make sure it is compatiable with your system and if you have any questions don't hesitate to call the support staff they can help.

I had an older Dell Desktop that had a bad video card. I was looking for something similar and located the Galaxy GeForce 8400. I took the old card out and popped in the Galaxy GeForce and it worked immediately without any problems. I'm very happy with this purchase. Replacing the card is very simple and even a beginner can do this in their home.

In July of this year I purchased a new HP a6838f with the intent of upgrading to the specs that I wanted at a total cost that was $150 less than ordering a Desktop Computer "off the shelf" with the specs that I wanted. The two upgrades that I made were an upgraded DVI capable graphics card and an additional 4 MB of RAM for a total of 8 MB. The upgrade in both cases was quick, painless, and truly plug & play.

This is a great buy. PCIe 16x wow. Finally, a video card that really made a difference in the performance of my computer (AM2 w/4gb). Got it to drive my 3rd monitor (22'' Acer DVI). The new 8400 did not get along with my existing, PCI, 128mb, dual analog 5500 until I followed the MS Troubleshooter; I shut down, moved the 5500 to a different PCI slot, Windows reinstalled the 5500 at its new PCI location and everything works purrrrr-fectly. Now I have got to order the x-tra memory for the 8400 just to see if it gets even better. Rock On, FAT CAT

Updated a DELL 8400 Dimension with this card and the results are awesome. No problem installing as it was about 15 minutes and I was up and running. This computer in my opinion is faster and runs better now than when it was new. I would recommend this card as it's quiet and it does the job!! This card was here in 2 days plus the price was the cheapest than anyone else.

Bought this card to upgrade my son's computer so he could waste more time playing games instead of doing homework. I also had to buy more RAM and a better sound card for the game he received for his birthday. Why can't some people read and understand minimum requirements before they buy?

This product works pretty good. As far as it's actual function it is great. Excellent in running games and videos. However, since I put it in my tower it always crashes Windows Vista when turning off the computer. I downloaded the newest driver and this helped a little. So the function is great as long as u don't mind your computer crashing every night.
