Generic 6" SATA Drive Data Cable with Locking Connectors

Works just fine as far as I can tell. It's not long sufficient to make it to my mother board or the SATA card I was working with. Thankfully I had another SATA card (Promise TX4 I bought from NewEgg a couple of years ago) that has connectors at the finish that allowed me to reach a couple of drive slots.It's my personal fault for not checking, not NewEgg's or the manufacturer's. As other people have stated make certain you know how a lot length you want. My other cables are all so darn long that I even though a short cable would be nice. I'm putting with each other a server with 6 drives and I was one particular SATA cable short. I ordered two of these late Wednesday night and I got it Friday of the similar week. It only used the common UPS ground shipping. I always get stuff the day after it ships if it comes from the Edison, NJ warehouse.NewEgg rocks!

Its what I needed and performs wonderful. If you have a Sata 1.5gb connection this will function. Got to love sata cables cuts down on the clutter. None at all. Make confident you only need a 6in. cable. Thanks Newegg. I preserve forgetting to give your business props on my other critiques.

Clips hold pretty excellent and they weren't too expensive. None at this time. Six inches is shorter than you might recognize. I suggest only ordering these if your difficult drive is really really extremely close to your sata ports.

Put it in my Jetway Pc with Intel ATOM 330 and it's the great length to connect from the MB to the HD. None. Buy with other stuff, save on shipping.

It's an SATA cable with a metal latch to make sure the cable doesn't fall out. Brief. This con doesn't price the cable an egg since you know it's only 6 inches. But you'll be surprised how modest 6 inches is when you see this cable! It's specifically 6 inches from tip to tip. Works for me given that my ssd and hhd had been extremely close to the mobo SATA ports. Best portion is I don't have a coil of SATA cables taking up room in my pc case, blocking airflow.

It functions, hasn't failed me however, metal clips are nice so it does not slip out of the socket Shipping much more than cable, Metal clips can croud connections on your motherboard I bought 2 of these and they are 6" from finish to end, the cable is not 6"long

Just the correct length to steer clear of excess cable. Locking mechanism functions nicely (not that I ever had a lot trouble with non-locking SATA cables just falling off). Can be somewhat stiff, but not genuinely a issues (or at least not adequate to take off an egg) Newegg rocks, UPS....not so a great deal

Good little SATA cable None if you're cautious (unlike myself) I didn't understand six" was six"... Silly me. But no worries, I just moved my DVD drive down a bay and voila, no more length problems. I will measure in the future although. Haha.I do like the locking connectors though. Great design.

excellent sata cable, just proper length if you only want it in a micro atx config or a thing. Will fit the bill nicely and the cables are black so if side window, they will blend in nicely with a lot of case interiors. Good and rigid but will enable bending in a reasonable fashion if not too severe an angle. My stupidity, 3" IS NOT the very same as 3', DUH! I just reinstalled my gear in a Haf 932 Full Tower, the cables would come in extremely handy if the drives I needed them for weren't clear at the leading of the case?? No excess cordage to bundle. Will not loosen/ pop-off mobo or drive due to weight+leverage. Minor and not this cable's fault: no forgiveness for guessing wrong about length required.

Fantastic SATA cables at this size, vital in modest builds (Mini-ITX). The clips are convenient. Make confident you measure appropriate, simply because there's no room for error. I purchased two of these with out realizing that 6 inches consists of the non-flexible head, so only one of them fit. Not too major a loss, as I can undoubtedly use it in an additional build, but it's slightly disappointing. The actual flexible length is extremely close to 4 inches. If it seems close to you, I extremely suggest measuring the actual distance and factoring in the ends of the cable, mainly because it may well not fit.

- It works when you plug it in...- It's black, which is great. A bit sick of all these gaudy colors things have been coming in lately. - Brief! Don't make the very same mistake I did, check the length you need to have carefully ahead of ordering -- it is six inches long including the connectors in the length. Nonetheless, it was the ideal length going from my mobo to my HDD. Order this with other stuff and save on the shipping.

Affordable and the greatest value for a brief SATAII cable application. These aren't created to the very best tolerance. I ordered two, and 1 was over .5" longer. Function good in mini-itx cases.
