Not much to say about this one, as it's just a piece of cable, but it is a good cable and definitely does a good job of what it's designed to do. The picture does improve a bit over analog (I imagine it's more noticeable at higher resolutions and on bigger screens - I'm running 1680 x 1050 on a 20.1" LCD). The other nice thing about this cable is that many LCD monitors have both digital and analog ports - using a DVI cable such as this to connect to your PC, you'll leave the analog port on your monitor open, so you can then use it to connect another device (game console, another computer, etc) and you'll be able to switch between them using the monitor's input button rather than having to physically switch cables. Definitely much more convenient. Whether the improvement in quality is worth the cash is a very subjective thing, but if you're looking for a DVI cable you definitely can't go wrong with this one. |

I was quite surprised when I opened the box and saw just how heavy a guage this cable was. I was expecting something similar to what was included with my 19" Acer widescreen (very thin cable), but was pleasantly surprised. If you need a DVI-D cable with male ends, look no further. Paying more in this case will only get you an empty wallet. |

This a great solid cable and it is long enough for me to move my monitor away from my case. It does the job fine. The picture quality is awesome. I use it on a LG 1932TX and i had to purchase this cable since it was not included with the monitor. This cable should work with most lcd monitors but just make sure the lcd has a dvi-d plug and your video card too. BTW the cable i got is black. Big stores all wanted double the price for a similar cable, and I sure in hells aint paying $100 for the Monster Cable brand.Picture did not improve much from just using a standard VGA cable IMO, the picture was already sharp as a tac!! but what the hek atleast by using this DVI cable I know the picture is as good as it can possibly get.Cable is black with gold plated connectors. For people who are wondering what DVI cable you need for your LCD, that one is for you. Most LCD are DVI-D and this cable is one. DVI-I isn't the good one. I can see a difference between analog and digital... worth a 20$. Too bad it's nearly never included in the box when you buy a lcd... they save what... 5$ with that? And some people buy those at 150+$... that's sad. |

I bought two of these cables to connect two monitors for dual monitor setup because the monitors I bought didn't provide DVI cables. So far, these cables are great as I do not find them to cause any trouble.
