Gigabyte GTX 970 G1 4GB 7.0GHZ GDDR5 2xHDMI DVI DisplayPort PCI-E Video Card
Cons:Long, higher price

Pros:Quiet, cool, back-plate, rigid, factory OC'd
Comment:
This card runs quiet, cool (never reached temps over 60c), and the included back plate is gorgeous. The high price is easily justified by the capability of the windforce cooler and factory OC'ing, and I'd have to say the only real down side to this cardis its length. Removing drive bays in most cases will be a requirement due to the massive three fan windforce cooler, which from most views, isn't a necessity if going from reasonable to exceptionally low temperatures isn't a requirement. For the 970 itself, this is an amazing card. Running 2x1080p its been able to handle shadow of mordor, star conflict, and beyond earth to name a few on max settings with enough AA to cover larger screens.

Gigabyte GTX 970 G1 4GB 7.0GHZ GDDR5 2xHDMI DVI DisplayPort PCI-E Video Card
Cons:Not a GTX 980, still waiting for EK to sell me some water blocks for them.

Pros:Cool, quiet, energy efficient. 6 video outs. Wild over clocks!
Comment:
A lot of video card for the money. Over clocks to 1550/8000 with +200mV volts, wont do any more, even with more volts, doesn't help any. Boost clocks can be a little confusing, when overclocked and overvolted, boost takes temps, power targets into account, so for example, instead of a 150mhz boost, it can easily turn into a 200mhz boost. and it doesn't get warm enough to clock down either. Its about on par with my old 290X 1250/1500 under water. Nice to see the 7 series selling out with some great deals and AMD trying to keep in pace with those prices. This thing runs cool and silent, hard to believe it has 290X-like performance. I went from 600W draw at my wall to 480W total system 4930K 4.5ghz, GTX650ti for PhysX. Everything maxed out.edit: have since SLI'ed 2 now, they rock 1440P pretty hard, my OC's have since gone down to 1480 boost / 8000 memory. Not a big deal, only an observation, my second card is rev1.1, at first it kind of freaked me out because I plan to water block them as soon as EK makes full blocks for them. but they only have had a PWM change due to their supplier not being able to keep up and switching suppliers, they did the same with their 980 G1's too, so glad to hear that's all it was, still same PCB etc, but different BIOS too. if I leave my fans on auto, they get quiet warm, but if manually 70% they never come close to 70 when totally stressed, but that's more for benchmarking, gaming wise they don't really work very hard. these are great cards and would highly recommend them. Gigabyte GTX 970 G1 4GB 7.0GHZ GDDR5 2xHDMI DVI DisplayPort PCI-E Video Card
Cons:very long, may not fit all casescan get loud in SLI with both of them at full blastprice is higher than other 970 models

Pros:Stock OC, Powerful Fan, Backplate pre-installed, Capable overclocker, price/performance
Comment:
I was very excited to get my hands on two of these bad boys. These G1 cards are very impressive. For $450 you get a card that can play most any game out right now at 1080p without breaking a sweat. Add another, and you got a very powerful gaming rid to stand the test. I managed to get two of these for the price of the MSI Gaming, saving me $60 (Thanks NCIX!) and so far these cards are beasts. Close to the same performance of a 780ti for over 200 dollars less? Yes please. Also, these cards are FAR more efficient with power and heat output. Particularly the G1.. the cooler is extremely efficient, and will keep the card idling around 30 with minimal noise. When they spin up to full load, they will eventually get pretty noisy, but bear in mind that's noisy to me coming from a very very quiet previous card.. now that I have sli, I knew it would be louder. The other benefit to the G1 is that the VRM is of higher quality which allows it to OC better and is more stable under load. The card comes factory clocked at 1176 core and 7000mhz memory. With a bit of luck and some crafty tinkering, 1500/8000 is easly possible, while maintaining great temps. Scaling is pretty good between the cards in SLI. As the drivers mature for this new series, I imagine it will get that much better. That said, unlike my experiences with Crossfire, these cards in SLI do not show any stutter or oddities toward performance.. benchmarks and games appear to run smooth, which was of great concern to me prior to purchasing.Watching the Firestrike demo with two of these is awesome.. it just crunches any benchmark with ease, and if it can do that to a benchmark, it will crush any game with full settings. If you intend to game at WQHD or higher, they may still struggle a bit to hit higher than 70FPS consistently with all the bells and whistles, but this also depends on the rest of your system. Overall, these cards are amazing and highly recommended if you currently are considering upgrading from the 600 series. For 700 series users, you may wish to hold out if you're still satisfied with the performance you're getting. For me, I had a 670gtx, and just one 970 was twice the performance as an upgrade. Huge! Throwing in a second was just icing on the already tasty cake. If these are out of your price range, either wait for them to go on sale or grab the MSI Gaming if you can. The Asus Strix is also a good option. Lastly, if you do intent to SLI, make sure you already have a bridge, or plan on buying one.. Gigabyte does not include one with these cards.

Cons:none

Pros:Runs cool and quiet. Overclocks really well. Nice back plate and LED Windforce logo
Comment:
This card is an absolute beast of a card. I am able to run 1360 base clock with 1574 boost on stock voltage!!!! Memory set to 2000Mhz. It never exceeds 60c and idle temps are under 30c. Scored a 14,000 graphics score in Fire Strike. I definitely recommend this card!!
