My Tv recorder burnt through 30 discs and only 1 failed. Nothing truly incorrect with these discs. I guess my recorder burnt these at 8X. Only 1 failed due to the unbalanced recorder. Have to reboot my recorder following each five dics. 4.7G is entirely no very good for extended motion pictures.

Decent bargain. Got mine for ภ w/free shipping. Averaging two coasters per 100. Absolutely nothing to cry about, but the funny portion is it's with an HP brand burner. Not entirely confident on these DVD-Rs' longevity--burns are often perishable, but some die faster than other people. Time will inform. @mazon Basics and TDK's both seem to be much better excellent at this point in time.

Reads and writes nicely--for backing up BB and NF DVDs. It operates on my Sony DVD player none Meets expectations. The fuschia color essentially assists me differentiate this media from all the other burned DVDs I have.

New burners are as low-cost as disk 100 packs; get a new 1, cheaper than tossing a lot of coasters, and way less frustrating. I have a pair of SATA Sony's, and an IDE LG in an older computer, and all burn these brands flawlessly: HP, TDK, Memorex, Verbatim, and Imation, using Win XP Pro with SP3. I use Nero 6 exclusively for burning films (why update software program that works?), have tried a variety of other computer software for information, and all worked fine. The purpose for the SATA Sony's? The previous one particular was burning occasional coasters...

Cheap I have a 100% failure rate with these discs. I've tried burning about 20 so far, and all have failed. A single of my Computer's wont' even recognize these discs. This was my last HP media obtain.

They work as advertised None I had bought a 50-spindle of these and burned Blu-ray Rips onto each single disk with no difficulty. My Samsung Blu-ray player was reading them like a champ with virtually zero start out up time. When I ran out, I foolishly purchased a 100-spindle or Memorex DVD-Rs from BJ's for ฤ. Right after burning about ten, I realized my BR player was taking minutes to load the disks, and numerous wouldn't play at all. I decided to go back to what had worked so I ordered this 100 pack of HP DVD-R's like I had been utilizing previously. Immediately after burning 65 of them, I liked them so nicely I bought a different 100 none People having problems with these need to change burners and or programs. My 3yr old burner nonetheless functions ideal with any disc, and a new burner I bought with lightscribe also operates with this media, and to top rated it all off I'm operating VISTA !!! LOL LOL LOL

They just will need to package their items far more securely for shipment. They only use 1 big wadded paper around a 100 pack spindle & they believe it would protect the discs from receiving damaged in the course of shipment? Come on.... If absolutely nothing else wrap bubble wrap around. I know newegg isn't to inexpensive to do that for their shoppers. They burn and read just fine... ultimately. For whatever reason, all of these disks take a tremendously lengthy time to initialize when starting a burn (up to 3 min vs. ten-20 sec for other brands). They also vibrate excessively in the drive and make other noises that sound "unhealthy". This is making use of a standard MacBook Superdrive. Only had 10 coasters out of perhaps 400 disks...which is fairly superior burn at a slower speed and you would prob eradicate coasters all together

I burned more than 50 so far and all worked with no no errors. No cons found. I burned these disks at 8x even tho these are rated 16x.Burning at 16x does not burn in half the time of 8x. Its only a small quicker.

i really like hp just not there disks. i have to burn at 2x. at 4x only about half the disks work. these are alittle worse than the sony and memorex's i've applied in the past. i'll stick with ridata from now on i've in no way had any issues with them
