HP 100 Pack 16X DVD-R Spindle

none both 100 spindle pack were damaged and not by shipping . one spindle was busted half the way about the clear best cover with some ruined dvds in that spindle at the area exactly where busted. the other the bottom was broke off and had dvds scattered in the shipping box which was in ideal shape. this is the sorriest thing i have ever dealt with on getting dvds.. i mean come sending damaged goods to tough working folks who trust you to send them a very good product. what junk

Red color is snazzy, theres a bar of unpainted disc behind the HP logo excellent for writing a title in sharpie. None however, so far out of 25+ utilized no coasters Need felt tipped pen for notes section. The discs are mostly red, but around the edges it is a lighter red/pink

We've all employed media, not a lot to say other than they either burn with most systems or they don't, or they don't hold up. These burn & appear durable. I tested on 3 PC's here with no issues in burning (READ Far more BELOW Just before YOU Acquire!). I've applied Newegg considering that they began and have a wealth of PC knowledge and use, going back to 1982. This is the first time I've ever felt bent enough to write a evaluation for Newegg buyers... Unless all competitors stopped selling decent dvd media I would Never obtain HP media once again. Why? HP printed this horrible red silkscreen, the great shade to drown out practically any marking. If you don't mind taking the 'pinata' approach at finding your data on your dvd's....guessing at what you recorded, then go for it. At reasonably the identical price you can obtain competing media you can really write titles on and SEE what you wrote later without having holding the disk to the light for two or three minutes. Keeping track of what you wrote might be critical to some in backing up information. HP, fire the 3'rd party silkscreener you hired for this media. This really passed good quality control sufficient for you to brand your name on the product? It's like purchasing a new auto & the only color they come in is PINK. I'm not obtaining.

I hope you guys in fact look by means of the evaluations and not just the egg ratings. threeǚ egg ratings just mainly because of the color? Come on now, if you can see black sharpie written on it, then that's all you will need. Who cares about the color as long as it isn't black.I have bought five 50 packs of these at a store when they had been on sale and by no means had a dilemma. I had used both +/- versions and just about every burn went through fine. They are played on multiple varieties of dvd players and had no playback problems. I also utilized them to burn some ISO files and every thing went fine. None. So far each DVD I've utilized burned fine. I burn at 8x speed so I don't waste any blanks. Be intelligent of your write speed. Typically it's simply because of your write speed that the playback is messed up or your burner.

i always had buy chipper brand and i thought this time i had to get something better and i thought it was a great sale price for a good bran name i thought the name is good or known but product is not good every single dvd gets frosen and the longer is used the worse it gets DONT BOTHER WITH THIS

They work fine. I keep these on hand and cheap enough to use and throw away or use for long term back ups.

I purchased these quite a while ago as they were on sale and though I have a huge aversion to red... I continue to buy them. I've never had a dead or defective disk any time I've ordered them... the price is good and I have no problem recommending these!!

I use a permanent fine tip marker and write on the silver strip. Works fine.

I used a few of them and they work great. The price is around the same else where, but I ordered other things and it was convinent to buy dvd-r's at the same time. I like them and would buy them again.

This site simply offers best prices when items are on sale. Concerning these blank DVDs, besides the fact they are pink, i can't complain.

I make thousands of religous DVD seminars. I try to use good discs. Out of hundreds of HP discs,I have yet to get a bad one. I can live with the red color, knowing that the DVD I'm burning will be a goog one. I am very well pleased.

Maybe it was my fault for not noticing, but I would have paid $10 more to not have the disks with such an awful color scheme. If you plan on writing information on these disks with a black sharpie, do not plan on being able to read what you wrote like you can on almost any other DVD disk.

Had one-hundred out of one-hundred good disc, only drawback is the red label, would be better if they used a silver back silk screen but this has nothing to do this disc as a fine DVD-R

The DVDs work just fine. When I can get the Recorder to work right. I don't believe it's a problem with them. Just with me!

These DVD's are a good product but the red color makes it very hard to read what is written on them using a black Sharpie pen.

I purchased (4) 100 packs at $14.99 and have yet to use any of these...but TD keeps sending me emails to do this review...so here it is...I just don't know yet...I've been burning the others that I purchased (Phillups)

Bought these at a super low price, less than 10 dollars. Haven't had any issues as of yet. Worth twice the amount I paid. Discs are red in color.

HP has high quality DVD-R. Will not buy any other.

Maybe I got a bad spindle, but I doubt it. I tried to burn 10 of these discs, and only one burned successfully. I usually buy Sony and I NEVER have a problem with their discs. I won't buy HP again.
