HP HD-3110 CMOS Webcam
Cons:- the mount or clip that is designed to hold it onto the screen isn't strong enough really to hold it in position so you might have to be creative
Pros:- Price when on sale- picture quality for the price- adjusts to lighting and focuses reasonably quickly Comment:
decent webcam for $14.99 wouldn't pay full price |

HP HD-3110 CMOS Webcam
Cons:be sure to update firmware
Pros:price when on sale Comment:
A good camera when on sale but clearly not up to the more expensive Logitech's.Software isn't the slickest but works adequately for stills and clips. |

HP HD-3110 CMOS Webcam
Cons:- poor quality stand- autofocus takes a bit too long to focus
Pros:- Great price x $10- smooth, clear video- autofocus works as described- good useful software included Comment:
This is a very good webcam for $10 on sale. Not sure if I would buy at regular price. However, it does offer a pretty good, smooth, and clear widescreen video. I updated to the latest firmware as there is some problem when using with Skype. So far it's working well. The only gripe I have is the stand as I had to tape it down to the top of my LCD to keep it steady. |

HP HD-3110 CMOS Webcam
Cons:bloatware CD
Pros:720p; can operate without the bloatware CD Comment:
Nice cam for $10; firmware 1.1 which is good as FW 1.0 has problems with skype.Nice fleck of dust behind the lens but for $10 I'm not complaining.Installation of the bloatware CD does some really strange things to my computer - all of my peripherals were renumerated (even my extra monitors), so I restored my system and now I operate without the bloatware CD as the camera can operate without the bloatware. |

HP HD-3110 CMOS Webcam
Cons:Mount for monitors is not very stableSoftware is fairly basic
Pros:HD video5MP still cameraWorks with Win7, Skype and Lync Comment:
I can't complain about this too much because i got it on sale for $20 which is a good thing because it is not worth $60. Biggest problem with it is the flexible rubberized mounting clip/stand, it is too flexible for what it weighs and not very grippy. It sits fine on a desk but try mouning it on a LCD screen and you will need to find some way of adding some grip to the clip. This is one product where I think going light weight was a bad design element.Overall picture quality is good, works well in medium light. Included software is fairly basic with a few gimmiky visual effects. You can manually adjust most settings for the video if you like or leave everything in auto. Haven't tried using the mic but I didn't buy it for the sound. As a $20 webcam this would get 4 stars no question but as a $60 cam it would be a 2 star. |

HP HD-3110 CMOS Webcam
Cons:Framerate sometimes drops in low lighting and video quality could be sharper.
Pros:Quite smooth video, looks nice, built in mic Comment:
Good Webcam, got it when it was on sale for $39.99.The video quality is pretty good. The framerate also drops a little in low lighting, so you sometimes have to manually adjust the exposure settings to stop it doing that. Setting "-6" seems to work best. However for a functional webcam it works great and the 16:9 ratio is really nice for capturing the full scene. Also has a good clip that works on my monitor and on top of the TV. |
good webcam, plugged it in and it shows up the picture, easy to install, hassle free, would buy again
