This product worked perfectly. I would recommend it. The antenna is the key if you are having difficulties with normal wireless cards. We put it in the window of the pole barn and received excellent signal from the house which had 0 signal with other cards.

Works fine with windows7 on my netbook. Better reception than the original netbook antenna. Buy with confidence, it's worthed.

The reason I chose this adapter is because it said it was compatible with Windows 7. At first I was getting an error saying it does not support this operating system. After some research I found that it is compatible with Windows 7 Ultimate. I have 64 bit Windows 7 Home Premium. To resolve the problem I went into the device manager and clicked update driver and pointed it to the driver disk. It finally installed the driver and it works great.

Used on an IBM R52 it outperforms the onboard setup on both the R52 and an HP DV9500 laptop, apparently because the external antenna can be located at a sweetspot. Whether this is exceptional or not I cannot say but it works whereas the R52 onboard did not pick up a signal and the HP was erratic. There is a stronger antenna available that I suspect would perform even better.

I've been trying to find a nice reception 11n NIC and I am impressed that this one works better than my $69.99 Linksys one. The signal strength is great and plays back my streaming video smoothly over 2 rooms.

I could not get the driver to load. I have Windows7 64bit and keep getting an error message saying it does not support this operating system.

I bought 2 of this NIC for my newly built Windows 7 systems and update the driver thru the web site. The signal strength is strong and far better than my currnet BELKIN USB. It picks up the signal from router next door with the extended antenna. Greay buy!!
