Fantastic look on it, extremely basic but the orange back-lit tends to make it look additional intriguing. When I initially got it, it made me want to sort because of the really feel of it. Really fantastic for typing. I dont do any gaming on my laptop so from my point of view, it's good for typing. The light on and off button/switch is plus. Some backlit keyboards dont have this. The keyboard came with no manuals, but who wants a manual with a keybaord. The usb could be a bit longer, but not an problem. Otherwise, wonderful product from i-rocks. If you want a thing that feels good when typing, get it. You wont regret. It takes some time to get utilized to. But when I got used to it I started typing more rapidly and more rapidly with the keyboard.

-Very good lighting effects, this keyboard matches my Gateway FX-6800 color scheme Specifically. The LED Lighting can be turned on/off with a switch and can even remain on right after the pc is shut off (via USB power) -Skilled seeking; does not have that goofy 'Extreme' gamer appear to it-Compact size fits perfectly inside my keyboard tray (while with sufficient area for to have my mouse on the identical tray); it also includes the -9 accounting keys (which many small keyboards lack)-Keytouch is decent (although not excellent) -With out the LED light turn off, the key faces are a bit difficult to read (even in brilliant lit rooms)-The -9 number pad, arrow keys and page up/down, and delete keys are slightly too close too each other-The important response isn't as quiet or as smooth as I like it. I prefer my keypad to really feel like laptop keys and this misses that feel and top quality (like my earlier ViewSonic keypad); despite the fact that isn't as loud or inexpensive feeling as those run of the mill บ-15 keyboards, still, need to be better than what it is General very happy because it fulfills most of my major objectives:+Full function keyboard in a slim and not to wide format+Toggleable LED light for low light environments (including gaming or night time)+Keypad is not also low cost feeling

Low cost- excellent for those on a budget, and/or have no use for the atypical bulky, overdone, over-priced 'gaming' keyboard.Back light- A nice, pleasant orange. Night time gaming has by no means been simpler.Size- Unusual layout aside, the compact size signifies more area for mousing, usually a great thing for shooters and RTS's.-11 key rollover: never ever worry about ghosting once more. -Layout takes a small getting employed to, but that comes with the territory of a compact keyboard. Know what you're getting into prior to you obtain.-The quantity and F-keys have no space between them, meaning accidental misinputs in games if you're not careful.-Important action is not the ideal (the 'instant response keycap' is just an empty gimmick), but I'll still take this over my previous keyboards.-Backlighting lacks brightness adjust, and is noticeably uneven.-Desires a bigger Ctrl key. General, this a pretty decent keyboard if you don't mind the layout and slightly mushy keys. This factor is (for me) a joy to kind on. Not having to be concerned about ghosting in games has produced factors additional enjoyable and responsive. If you're looking for a minimalistic, yet sharp searching keyboard, or just don't want to invest an arm or a leg, this is your board. I personally suggest it.

-The button/key tension is perfect. The keyboard isn't overly loud when hitting the buttons and they respond extremely effectively to overall movements.-Using the kickstands is just as comfortable as one particular may anticipate, but I was actually shocked when I identified I prefer to go with no. -In case 1 hadn't noticed, or wondered, there is a button to turn the LED light on and off. I actually like this alternative considering that throughout the daytime the orange glow doesn't look all that fantastic. None If you're somebody that is looking at this keyboard and IS NOT a gamer then take note: all the keys sit together. Most other keyboards have the arrow keys, residence keys, and keypad seperated off to a side. This will take some receiving utilized to.

Can't say I applied it enough to list any pros. The back lighting was a good plus. Keys are much closer together than a regular keyboard. I don't have significant hands and found it to be unbearable to use. Could try to RMA

looks nice with the orange light on. goes well with my custom computer system build. only functions half of the time. when the light is on keyboard won't work. and when the light is off - the keyboard functions 75% of the time.kind of annoying due to the fact i also dual boot 2 HD's with linux and can't choose what kernel i want ('cause of this keyboard). i'm tired of unplugging and re-plugging this keyboard in. i think this may possibly just be a defect, seems like there is a brief when you press the button to turn the light on (you see the light flicker - so i assume the prob. is with the keyboard's power button to turn the light on. don't know if i can still RMA this thing, but i'm sure it is a good product except for the 1 i have.

The key lighting is great in particular in a dark room, say exactly where you're making use of a projector to watch videos. The crucial layout is too strange. The traditional middle section (del, end, pgup, pgdn) is gone (highly utilized by me) but the traditional correct section (numeric keybad, etc) is there (never, ever used by me). Because I use a tradtional keyoard at function 40+ hours per week, this is too much alter for me. I will RMA this keyboard. I really should have looked much more carefully at Newegg's pictures - my fault. I would like to see the Pc laptop or computer market standardize on 1 thing - the computer system keyboard layout. This is apparently too much to ask given the CPU/mobo connector interface, computer memory slots, mobo power connector blocks, fan mobo connector blocks, video connectors, keyboard and mouse connectors, case connector blocks, peripheral slots, etc, etc, etc......

Price Value Cost, did I mention the cost?Lights up actual nice, light doesn't come through the edges and in between the keys like lots of other boards(i.e. Eclipse), and think it or not, that's a very good factor. The light is orange, which I feel is incredibly pleasing to the eye.The size of this factor is excellent, super compact, fits appropriate on my slide out tray subsequent to my mouse pad, challenging to uncover a keyboard that is 108 important and this compact! Im not a fan of the key action(a tad mushy, flat, not so a lot travel), but I guess that's a matter of taste, some individuals may like it this way. I guess I will get employed to it in time. Also when you turn off the pc, you have to bear in mind to turn off the lighting, as it will remain on with the computer system off. Kinda annoying, but a small issue. I actually ordered this keyboard more than at least a year ago, but returned it, the lighting wasn't even across the board. I gave up for a although attempting to get an additional. I finally decided back on this 1, due to lack of alternatives for my requirements.Im glad I went back, the lighting issue is not present on the new 1, it's perfectly even, enjoy the way it looks in the dark!

Very good seeking keyboard. I like that you can turn the lighting on and off with the touch of a button. I haven't noticed any challenge with any keys not registering at all. It's a fairly comfortable keyboard. The best row keys aren't don't seem brightly lit as the common keyboard keys. I'm not taking off any eggs since it;s not a large deal, they nonetheless light up and are completely readable in the dark. It takes some finding utilised to the placement of the arrow keys.

Small / Sturdy / Backlight / comfy / quick: This factor is just what I wanted. Low profile even though nonetheless having a excellent firm really feel to it. The backlight toggle works fine and seems sturdy. Wish the cable was a little longer. . The page up/down keys are oddly placed but they make sense. Every thing else about the keys are fine. The backlight toggle is best. This is the only *BASIC* keyboard I discovered on newegg. I didnt want media buttons and all that jazz... just a solid keyboard for coding / typing intensive stuff; and this 1 is best. If you want a simple solid keyboard that is really comfortable to type on, get this

Lowest priced back-lit keyboard about. Anti-ghosting is good for gaming. Modest footprint. Letter illumination isn't uniform when viewing the keyboard from an angle (like sitting at a desk). When viewed from above, it's perfectly uniform. Just a tad too compact around the arrow keys for my liking. A small space around them would have been nice so I wouldn't have to look to make positive I have my fingers on the suitable keys. Back-light could be slightly brighter too.

Compact design and I like the layout. Straightforward and uncluttered with no multimedia buttons. Backlighting is sufficient and can be turned on and off by the user as necessary. Nice, quiet keystrokes. Does not work with a PSǘ KVM switch. 1st USB keyboard I've utilised that won't perform with my Linksys KVM switch, even with a USB to PSǘ adapter. Only negative I've located with this keyboard so far. Perfectly good keyboard. The reason I purchased it was to replace my worn out keyboard and I require it to perform with my KVM switch, which it does not. I will use this keyboard as a spare and for troubleshooting but nothing else.

Back lit keyboard works fine. No problems when the back light is on like some others have reported. The typing feel is OK, but nothing to write residence about. The keyboard is compact like a laptop keyboard and keys are fairly flat. This is a fine keyboard for those utilised to laptop-style keyboards. Nevertheless, I nonetheless prefer the old style big keyboards.

Takes some getting used to getting the arrow keys cramped up against every thing else How can a person press 11 keys at as soon as with no just putting their whole hand or a foot on the keyboard, and why would they do that for gaming? Rofl. Just a random believed.

Excellent compact style that allows you to reach points simpler though nonetheless getting all the buttons normal keyboards have. Also saves lots of space on the desk! The back light is undoubtedly a plus too. Though it's a compact design, certain things feel to smaller like the space bar and manage modifier. The back light seems dim on particular keys, and to bright on other people. If you're use to a typical keyboard you shouldn't purchase this unless you have a good cause to like if you prefer a compact style or if you're limited on desk space.

The orange lighting effect is much easier on the eyes then the blinding blue.Easy to sort on like a laptop keyboard. This item utilised to come with the USB to PSǘ adapter. We purchased two of these for our server room at work so that when the power goes out, we can still see the keyboard to shut down the servers ahead of the battery back ups goes down.I waited almost a year prior to making the purchase for house and to my surprise, they no longer incorporate the USB to PSǘ adapter. I really should have checked but not a big deal.

Back lit, smaller footprint, decent feel, superior gaming performance, and affordable as hell. I play a lot of CS:S and CoD4, and various other shooters, as properly as MMOs like Guild Wars and Regnum On-line (I know, shoot me now), and this keyboard has stood up to everything I have thrown at it so far, which includes young children with Dr. Pepper. I have high hopes that this ought to last me quite a although. The create quality is similar to other normal keyboards out there, but the action is sooo considerably far more smoother, plus the orange glow helps for the duration of late night games. Takes a whilst to get utilized to the compressed (?) keyboard layout. It's fiveᚮam here, so I might have repeated myself, deal with it. Changing out the LEDs shortly for either blue or green, ought to look fairly wicked when carried out.

Compact, switchable backlight, full set of 104 keys, handles ɯ simultaneous keypresses for each mixture I've required Backlight is too weak for daytime use, keys are just a small mushy I can use my keyboard and mouse right next to every other now at about shoulder distance. Using the keyboard and mouse at the identical time is comfortable wit this keyboard due to the size. I wish I could have had this keyboard years ago.

Good backlighting effect and doesn't generate the faint hum that a lot of illuminated keyboards do. I like the lack of multimedia keys, which are usually useless. The important layout isn't bad for a compact, even though two items that bug me...1) Does any person ever use the Alt and Ctrl keys on the right side? It's a compact, get rid of them. 2) Why leave the Windows important on the left side of a gaming keyboard? I can't say I ever accidentally hit it, but only since I map commands off of surrounding keys if they're utilised. Keys feel quite poor, which is 90% of my gripe with this keyboard. At the top of the key there's lots of play in all directions. The important response feels flat, except for the space bar, which is very good. I thought this "low profile" style could approximate the really feel of scissor switch keyboards, which I prefer, but I feel it even comes up brief compared to the ŭ keyboard I use at work.

Great KB. Backlite keys, WOW. Has ins, del, and arrow keys off NUM key region. Great really feel but it is not my STEELSERIES. This kb is ideal for modest footprint application. only 15.5 " wide. NONE, if you don't need to have the left hand game pad, Buy this board. I mounted a total system in a bookcase. My wife thought I was crazy with no room for the KB & mouse. I order this and she loves it now. Wants one in the kitchen next. I mounted a 24" LCD at the back of the BK. the kb & mouse sit on the shelf. CPU & UPS on top out of the way. Youngsters really like it.
