I got it to switch between a Win 2000 machine and an XP machine. No Issues Works fine.

Have been using now for a week now works great, I switch between a linux box and windows 7,The only problem I have had is every tenth switch or so windows seems to think it is a new device and takes 30 seconds to recognize it. This is a minor issue for me so over all good product.

I just got this on Monday Nov.9th,2009 and it was easy to hook up. I really like it so far and hope it keeps working this good all the time. It does take a couple seconds in between switching the computers back and forth but if that is the wrost thing then be it. Thank You for the product and the cost.

Set up was easy. The price was excellent. The only delay in switching between machines is due to the attached computer's recognition and connection to the USB port.

I had been looking for a compact switch for my laptop desktop setup. Sets up in seconds and switches back and forth in seconds. If your looking for a no frills switch this is it.

The product performs as expected. There is no noticeable delay when switching. The only problems I've run into thus far are: 1. I'm unable to use the keyboard in BIOS on one of the workstations. 2. The screen resolution defaults to 800x600 if the computer is rebooted without being selected on the KVM and resolution is set to auto. 3. The Num Lock and Caps Lock indicators don't always reset when switching between workstations. If I would have considered all the details, I might have chosen a PS2 version instead, but overall it serves its purpose well.

A simple device that performs great. I was able to save a ton of desk space by combining two CPUs with just one keyboard, mouse, and monitor. Could not have been easier to install.

This KVM switch delivered what I expected. Installation and operation could not be any simpler. It is more than worth the price. With the cables mounted on both sides of the little box makes it awkward to deal with the placement of the unit, but with the help of Valcro I was able to mount it behind the keyboard pulling the drawer out to expose it and push the sole buttom, then push it back to hide it from view. This arrangement worked very well for me.

I bought the Iogear KVM since I work from home somedays and want to use my home PC's mouse,keyboard and monitor with my laptop so I can get an extended desktop. I was not looking for a quick switch and wanted the push button to control when to switch machines. It installed very easily and works as advertised. No issues. I recommend this for anyone that wants just the basics, no frills. I am able to use my keyboard, mouse and monitor on two machines (a desktop and a laptop). It takes 3 to 5 seconds for the switch over to occur but that is fine by me. I like having the button to control when to switch and not using a keyboard combination command. Key thing is to have the machine you are hooking up to turned off. When first installing I made sure my home PC was turned off and now that it is connected I can leave it on when hooking up my laptop. I just hook the laptop up, turn it on and when ready press the button and switch over to the laptop and get to work. It is a good deal.

I'm a graphic artist/product developer so i use both a MAC and PC when working. The KVM works great for both, there is a small delay between switching but other then that there seems to be nothing wrong with the product. I do wish there was a hot key programed in and not just the top button to activate the switch. anyways it gets the job done and its at a great price.

This KVM is pretty straightforward. It does not allow you to use a keyboard button like tapping scroll-lock twice like some other KVM's use; instead its got a push button on the box itself. The lag between switching machines is about 5 or 6 seconds, which isn't much but it is noticeable and slightly annoying. The fact its running with USB simplifies the cabling over a traditional KVM which is nice.

This item works well. I have had some buggy PS2 KVMs but the USB stuff seems to be seemless. It is small to, which I needed for my application and its light so it can tuck up and out of the way with Velco if need be.
