Work as advertised. Better sound quality than composite or component. See no problems so far. What could I say more of a simple optical sound cable!

Got this when it was on sale. So far so good. This is a good cable and those what it supposed to do without the big price tag. The nylon sleeve is the best feature on this cable, you won't get any sharp bents affecting the signal. Recommended :)

Using this between my ps3 and tv hooked up to a set of z680. Awesome sound quality. From what I understand (which isn't much) you really don't get any noticeable if any difference with cheaper cables.

Well, it is a cable, and it does it's job. I got it fairly cheap so I am happy with it. Nothing bad to say against this one.

I bought 2 when they were on sale for my BD player, TV & amp. It seems good quality and built. They work good so far, no complain.

I am now using this for my playstation 2. Seems to work great, I can't complain, the price is great, purple monkey dishwasher. What more can I say.

This cable works great, I have it connected between my Mac mini and my speaker set up. It might be better if the cable was put black, but I won't complain cause this cost a fraction of the price of the more expensive cables and works great!

A nice cable and have no problems with. Using it with my PS3. The nylon sleeve has a red black look and is alright. But too bad there is no plain black version as the cable doesn't match with my other cables.

Good cable. Nylon sleeve is the best feature on this cable, you won't get any sharp bents affecting the signal. A great buy when on sale.

This cable is very good quality for the price (especially if you price match). I can't see why you would pay more for an optical audio cable of that length. With optical cables, there's no electromagnetic interference... so good shielding is not an issue here.

sound performance increased dramatically but you have to price match these to around 5$ each I'm very happy with my purchase and if i buy a new TV in the future i will definitely buy more

Bought it to hook my PS3 to my receiver and do the job very well. Its cheap, you cant go wrong with that.

low, low, low price optical cable transfers my audeo from the htpc to the a/v receiver in high quality over a cable that is long enough to allow the units to be moved without disconnecting the cable

Connectors all came with nice caps to keep the ends perfect before installation. Great look to the cable and performs like any other cable would. Great price too.

Got this to connect my 360 to my Denon receiver, on sale for about $8. I had some cheap really thin optical cable before and was always afraid I might bend it too much and damage the optical cable inside. This cable is fairly thick (about as thick as a standard pen) and the nylon sleeve seems a lot more resilient than standard rubber insulation. The connectors click in to the optical port nicely, and do not come out accidentally like some other optical cables I have used. The claim on the box about gold-plated connectors providing superior signal quality is total BS, but that doesn't change the fact that these are excellent value for high quality optical cables.

So I picked up the Toshiba HD-A2 HD-DVD player, and had to get a optical cable. After looking everywhere I figured I'd try out NCIX. Of course they'd have one! $14.22 is the price listed on the web, which is cheaper than anywhere else (FS/BB).Drive down to pick one up, and the guy says they are on sale for $7.99. BONUS!When I got it in my hands I was pretty impressed. By the looks on the site, I didn't expect the cable to be that thick. Having a good thick cable for optical is good, as you DON'T want to have any kinks in the cable. The shielding on this prevents that from happening. For the money, this cable can't be beat. My AMP doesn't have HDMI audio, so I can run TrueHD Dolby at the moment, so this cable will be just what the doctor ordered.

Ce câble fait aussi bien le tranvail qu'un câble Monster Cable qui coute 10X plus cher. L'information transporté est un signal numérique lumineux donc l'immunité au bruit électro-magnetique n'est pas un facteur à considérer dans le choix d'un câble optique. L'attenuation à cause de la longueur n'est pas non-plus un facteur important p.c.q. ce câble n'a qu'une longeur de seulement 6 pieds. Donc inutile d'acheter un câble Monster Cable pour des signaux optiques numériques. Ce câble fait aussi bien le travail qu'un câble Monster à 100$ et sa qualité de fabrication est très bonne et dépasse de beaucoup les exigences minimales requise pour ce genre de signaux. Un très bon achat même au prix normal.

I am currently using this between my Logitech Z-5500's and Sondigo Inferno sound card and the sound is perfect! This eliminates the 3 3.5mm connectors on regular sound cables. Nice price as well!
