Terrific Motherboard
Comment:
Product works as advertised and is very fast and reliable for my Hackintosh. Great expansion options and this board is another quality Intel build. As always I received the fast shipping I have come to expect from TigerDirect! It sounds like the only people having trouble with this board are the ones not following the directions or looking at the advertised specs. Reading is fundamental.

Yeah, no

I got this product and installed it, and tried to get past the bios screen but couldn't. Needed to hit F2 to input information, but there was no PS2 port and the USB ports hadn't loaded. Had to send it back. I wouldn't waste my time with it again.

Works great
Comment:
No problems. I replaced an older 775 Intel board with this one and it works great. I reused most the equipment from the previous board except I needed to upgrade the ram. Processor is quad core, 4 gig ram and I 4 320 gig hard drives running raid 10. The install was easy and you can put the raid drivers on a flash memory or a usb hard drive. The only small issue I have is waking the computer it takes a few taps of the key board and mouse if it's been a sleep for a long time although I'm not sure if I have my sleep setting correct in the BIOS.

I love this board!
Comment:
I replaced my Asus P5Q with Intel's DP45SG I swapped everything even the HD containing the old board set up and...... It worked! the board picked up everything, after installing the new drivers and the sound drivers, it was fully functional. I have added a pair or Corsairs XMS3 4GB 2x2gb sticks ddr3 9-9-9 24 Nvidia Geforce GTX 260, I have no problems , all works fine, just my hard drives are crammed by the video card being so bulky. Overall it was easy to set up, i just hope Intel can come up with a better way of clamping those heat sinks to the CPU, i tell you i thought i broke it at one point.

Buy another board
Comment:
Bad board. On initial startup, blue screen. Upgraded downgraded? bios then worked ok. Recognized 2G of 1333 DDR3 memory. Ran ok for 2 days then started to get intermittent errors. Performance would slow way down and I would have to close the app and reopen. Started to get strange screen displays but on reboot, seemed ok. Finally, got a hardware error and system tried to reboot to no avail. DEAD.

Best bet on 775 with DDR3
Comment:
I built my first custom PC using this board about a month ago. I have had no problems. Memory was recognized right off the bat (2X2gb 1033s). I didn't have to update anything. Booted right up. Performance wise it does fairly well. Its not crazy but does well for the money. Not really any competition for it. Just wish there were more options for a 775 with DDR3. I would definately recommend this board.

BLUE SCREEN OF DEATH ABUNDENT
Comment:
This thing is FULL of problems. Kept getting the BSOD and still do. Updated the BIOS (which are really older BIOS) and got IRQL is not less than or equal blue screen. Have fat1ty ddr3 ram. Might be the problem. Like the other poster said, make sure u have the right ram. the features are great, its just too much of a headache for me. Buy at own risk.

Don't buy
Comment:
Unless you are absolutely sure you are absolutely sure you have compatible RAM, don't buy this board. Not all RAM is compatible with it...

Any good? I wouldn't know as mine arrived DOA lol. No IDE or PS2 ports on this, just FYI. Sadly, other than that, there's not much I can tell you about it.

Excellent Motherboard ONCE You Update The BIOS!
Comment:
But at first I had some EXTREMELY bad issues with it when I first got it. I'm using 1333mhz ddr3 memory and for some reason it didn't function properly at first; I kept getting BSODs (Blue screens of death) after it booted and the errors seemed to point towards the RAM, so I thought it was the RAM that was bad. Turns out (and to make a long story short) the RAM was fine - it was just the motherboard not handling the RAM properly and so I had to go to their website and update the BIOS, which turned out to be quite easy to do. I used a flash drive. 1, format the flash drive and put an OS on it like ''Free Disk Operating System.'' 2, download the BIOS update and put it on the flash drive. 3, set the board to boot to the flash drive. 4, install the update by running the provided program and loading the update file from there. (FYI - You only need to update the BIOS if you keep getting BSODS)

Fabulous Slew of Connections
Comment:
Very good installation instructions included, as this was my first time building my own computer. Worked straight out of the box. My only dislike is the position of the SATA connections. My large video card covers one of them, and if I moved it to another PCIe slot, it would cover all of them. But that's more a fault of my video card.

Awesome features
Comment:
Great board with decent performance (not the best mind you but very good nonetheless). Tonnes of features that you'd normally have to pay a lot more for. Only issue was fitting the board into the back metal plate; kind of tricky to get the USB ports to line up properly! Would definitely recommend.

Very Nice Board from Intel
Comment:
Very nice fast performer. I read a few reviews and fell inlove with the board. As a previous owner of Intel boards, all I can tell you is that they are built to last. In fact most of the mobo manufacturers use Intel's chip sets, that should tell you something. I rather buy direct from the one that makes componentes for others. One thisn to keep in mind though, this motherboard is very up to date. It does not have IDE connectors. So if you plam like me to use your old DVD drive, floppy drive, forget it. I had to buy a new DVD drive but worth all the trouble. I recommend it.

Great Board but...
Comment:
If this board doesn't boot from first try I assure you will give yourself a migraine trying to set this thing up & figure out whats wrong! But after all the pain and suffering it works with no problem! **** Only problem I had was getting it to boot. It would not boot WINDOWS 7 RC from CD-ROM at all, but WIN98SE disc would boot. Would not boot Vista at all. Finally I decided to boot win 7 from flash after setting up flash drive and it booted like a charm and everything works fine!

Great Motherboard
Comment:
This is the first mbo I personally used to build my first ever PC. I have to say I didn't have any problems installing. Didn't have to flush any bios or any thing like that either. Solid and fast however, I have to use different keyboard or buy an adapter.
