Cons:Stable OC speeds is luck of the draw when purchasing.
Pros:Love it. Overclocking is awesome with the 2600k Comment:
I've got the CPU running below 55C at full load. 4.5GHz h 1.33V. I can do 4.6GHz. CPU becomes unstable at 4.7GHz at 1.35V. I am still very happy with this CPU. |

Pros:Really good processing speed Comment:
Good cpu does everything I want and is fastest cpu I've ever used. |

Intel Core i7-2600K Processor 3.4GHz LGA 1155 95W Quad-Core Desktop
Cons:Factory heat sink/fan, but if you're building a monster machine, you should never consider keeping the OEM fan.
Pros:Running Adobe Premiere Pro CS5.5 with this in a system built for video rendering and it's been great! Used the motherboard's auto overclocking to 4.2 GHz on air without any special tweaks.Full HD AVCHD video plays very smoothly and Premiere's GPU integrated effects are smooth as silk. Transcoding takes less than 1:1, which is screaming for AVCHD.I'm thrilled with this proc and would recommend it to anyone needing the horsepower. Just make sure to toss the OEM heat sink and get a real one! Comment:

Very fast, superior processor I created a extremely thin layer of thermal grease, however the cpu runs at 60-70c idled! I am afraid my cpu will die soon, also my 30 days is up. minus 4 egg for either poor chip or bad cpu fan. |

Cons:None
Pros:Very easy to overclock. Comment:
Got this for my first computer build and its great!I am glad I forked out abit more for Intel. I have it currently overlocked to 4.5 GHz.The stock CPU cooler works pretty well, it can handle up til 4.5-4.7 ish. I changed mine to a Zalman heatsink and I plan on overclocking higher in the future. If you only need something for gaming then i5 2500k will suffice.Very happy with this purchase and will buy again for any future rigs. |

Intel Core i7-2600K Processor 3.4GHz LGA 1155 95W Quad-Core Desktop
Cons:none
Pros:overclocks like a boss Comment:
I had an old i7 860 which comes stock 2.8ghz, and could only reach 3.8ghz max. This 2600k that comes 3.4ghz right out the box, in just a few minutes with my air cooling, I got it to 4.6 using the auto overclock and with a few tweaks it was at 4.9ghz which ran stable with prime 95 for 8 hours+. |

Intel Core i7-2600K Processor 3.4GHz LGA 1155 95W Quad-Core Desktop
Cons:-Stock cooler limits overclocking-The 2500k Offers the same performance in most games.
Pros:+Stupid fast even at stock+HT helps with some programs+Very low power consumption for the performance Comment:
This is a great cpu, for many users the 2500k will offer all the performance of this cpu, but when you start pushing it hard, the HT feature helps. The idle and load power consumption on this cpu are very good for the level of performance. This cpu overclocks well with very little if any voltage increase. Your millage may vary. |

Cons:none so far
Pros:great value for money Comment:
according to Maximum PC, intel has so much money they give us the processing power for 1/3 the price as of last year, and it shows. Overclocking works awesome, rates a 7.7 in Win 7 when overclocked at 4.3 GHZ |

Intel Core i7-2600K Processor 3.4GHz LGA 1155 95W Quad-Core Desktop
Cons:-stock heatsink (which you shouldn't be using anyway)-didn't come in a cool black extreme box
Pros:-price-performance-Overclocking Comment:
As the previous 100 reviews can attest to, this CPU is worth every penny. A couple clicks and it's running at 4.2Ghz stable, with much more headroom for overclocking. Personally I run it around 4Ghz to keep my temps down, don't need it any faster. I run it with a Noctua NH-D14. My tower sits in a fairly confined space under my desk and the temps are still 26~28C idle, and 40~42 under load. With the ease of overclocking this chip it performs easily as well as some of the more expensive "extreme" CPU's. Highly recommended. |

Intel Core i7-2600K Processor 3.4GHz LGA 1155 95W Quad-Core Desktop
Comment:
Really good speed. Maintained stability, even with a bad memory stick. 7.6 out of 7.9 on the Windows 7 Encounter Index. Stock OEM heatsink is horrible. Worst I've ever employed. Wasn't able to preserve the chip cool under regular use circumstances, and I have 7 fans in my case. And by that I mean, the method was shutting itself down due to temp triggers. There had been concerns about a cold bug with this chip at 20c. My new cooler keeps the chip at or below that level and I don't see any troubles. So the issue, at least for the Reail chips, seems to be resolved. |

Pros:Easily Overclocked to 4.4GhzRuns CoolSuper Powerful Comment:
Easily over clocked with my Asus Z68-Pro to 4.4Ghz totally stable. Runs around 23C idle up to 46C under loaded with a Noctua NH-U12P. No complaints, runs as expected for Intels latest and greatest. |

Cons:the fan it comes with is loud
Pros:Really Fast Comment:
This processor is fast! Really good for gaming. The only problem I have with it is that the fan it comes with is loud when under load. I know they get loud when under load, but this is just too loud, it also has a grinding noise. But it does keep it cool. |

Bought this cpu two weeks ago and getting excellent performance. With the stock heatsink, this CPU reach 60celsius on full load.Since I'm planning to overclock this beast, I just ordered a Noctua NH-D14 which should do the trick of keeping it cool.Would recommend this CPU to anyone!
