Pros:Easy to overclockReally fastLow temps Comment:
This cpu is so great. It replace my i7 920 and the difference is not that big at the same frequency but... the i7 2600k go way more higher in overclock and better temps :).So if u got a x58 computer, wait for the next generation of cpu.But if u overclock like a crazy guy, i7 2600k is yours |

Cons:I don't think of any con.
Pros:This really is the best CPU I've ever had. Comment:
This is something. I came all the way from an Intel Core 2 Q6600 to this i7 2600K and I really feel the difference. Everything becomes increasingly faster. Of course it has something to do with my new build that includes the latest components, but this CPU is really one of the best you can get for the price. Read the reviews and benchmarks, you can't go wrong with this CPU. |

Cons:None
Pros:Very fastAuto overclocking abilityHyperthreadingDid I mention fast? Comment:
This is a great upgrade from a Q9550. It is noticeably faster. The automatic overclocking ability is great for demanding games, and combined with hyperthreading is fast at converting videos (although CUDA is faster albeit lower quality).Very satisfied =). Some say "stick with the i5 2500" but if you have the money and need the best, this is the best. |

Awesome CPU and good cost Stock Heatsink is not "green" i don't know any individual who would use it on a CPU like this,so.... it ends up in a junk parts pile somewhere in my residence. They need to just make it optional, come on Intel feel green. |

Pros:runs cool, easy to install, and very fast Comment:
I bought the 2600k primarily for gaming and a bit of folding as well and so far it has been amazing. It runs at about 8 degrees celsius above room temp and gets up to high 50's when I max it out. Would recommend to anyone looking for a high end CPU. |

Cons:Seems to run hot with stock cooler
Pros:Great pricegreat performanceeasy overclocking (didn't try it much yet) Comment:
This processor is one of the best out there and is way cheaper than the others. Installed mine 2 days ago and everything seems fine. The only thing was that it was reaching 77C on load so I repasted with some IC Diamond 7 and now it won't go up 63ish on load and stays near 40C when idle. I will invest for a better cooler later. |

Super Quick! Windows 7 widget CPU Meter shows CPU Usage. Typical Usage is 3-6%. Goes up to 12% if i do some multi tasking with Music playing, talking on Vent, downloading a movie, and playing Warcraft at the similar time. I didn't even over-clock it. Just stock 3.4Ghz. Cost... 跪, if you can afford it, get it. its well worth the dollars. Shipping was fairly quickly as properly. 2 company days. |

Pros:Best cpu on the market for the price by far. Comment:
Currently 2600k is only marginally better for gaming then the 2500k but for $100 its a little more future proof. Also I usually like to play the newest and most demanding games out there. |

Pros:Amazing overclockerTemps are reasonablePowerful cpu Comment:
Finally gave in to the urge to upgrade. So far this cpu has been amazing. With a few minutes in the bios Ive got it at 4.7Ghz, any further and it takes too much voltage. It handles everything I throw at it definitely a nice upgrade over my aging q6600. |

Pros:Great performance for the price. Very easy to overclock. Comment:
Genius product by Intel. I ran AMD for the last while and this CPU made me jump ship. Overclocking is the easiest thing ever. However to get the higher clocks, you'll need a good aftermarket cooler... either a high-end air cooler or liquid cooling solutions. I achieved 4.5 ghz very easily and after a bit of tweaking, I'm at 4.8 ghz 24/7 on a Corsair H100 cooler. Using a Z68 mobo. |

Intel Core i7-2600K Processor 3.4GHz LGA 1155 95W Quad-Core Desktop
Cons:Price.
Pros:Speed, Running temp. Comment:
This Core I7 cpu is one of the best out there with a "reasonable" price. It's considered as a highend CPU and with it's Sandy Bridge Architecture and if you have a motherboard supporting it, you can have a video card included (not for gaming of course). It kicks the old I7 950 away with it's speed and they are almost the same price (50$ difference between two). |

Quite rapidly. Very cool. Runs like lightening. none And I thought an i7 920 at four.4GHz was fast. I think it's got a lot of headroom. I got stability at 4.2GHz and 1.25v and I haven't pushed it any further but, I plan to use it for FSX as soon as I get a major sufficient HDD for all the scenery mesh. Apparently it is perfect, even much better than a 6-core gulftown. Glad I made this selection. |

runs extremely cool...until i was developing this for my younger brother, thinking it would be a superior processor than the 950 simply because he was searching for an upgrade but no this is worse in approaches that don't appear physically achievable I run two X5690 on sr-2 so i know what heat feels like even when water cooled, but this factor for some reason right after you over clock it to five.7 on a tripple loop H20 system it just catches on fire i don't know if its his mo-bo or not have not checked but as far as i know he's going to stick with his 930 and x58 saber-tooth. I am disappointed at Intel not obtaining from this line of processors ever once again. he's mad at me and i'm mad at Intel. |

Intel Core i7-2600K Processor 3.4GHz LGA 1155 95W Quad-Core Desktop
Cons:-Pricey considering you can get similar performance out of an i5, but without hyperthreading and the extra overhead performance you get with the i7 if you decide to OC
Pros:-Easily stablized-Fast-Hyperthreaded which works great with my audio software Comment:
Using this in conjunction with the Asus P8Z68 V Pro, Corsair H80 Cooler, and Corsair Vengeance 1600 RAM, and worked flawlessly out of box. Posted first try. Asus OC in BIOS even worked quite well too. Brought it to a stable 4.2Ghz on 1.2V.Temps with H80 in 650D Corsair Case at 4.2Ghz are 33deg idle and 53 100% load on prime95. Overall very happy. |

Pros:Work well, not too hot... Comment:
Can't say much about it but it work like it should. With my H50 I don't get too hot, IDLE 35-40° whitch is not bad. Underload 50° whitch is not bad also! You can't go wrong with this, only the price. |

Fast. Insanely quick. Can push it even faster. Stable. The price. It's expensive, but that will change in six months. Stock heatsink is lame, but they all are and you should know that. Clearly the fastest processor I have ever owned. It kill my old Quad Core Shuttle all the heck and back. Overclocking potential is there for those who want it. What pleases me is stability and so far I have it.MSI P67A-GD65i7 2600K8g gskillIntel 120Gb SSD for OSSamsung F3's in RAID0 and F3R's in RAID MirrorMSi N460GTX GeForce GTX 460 Rosewill Challenger caseWindows 7 Ultimate 64bit |

Great. can run 4.3 ghz @ 1.26 with out a hitch.OC to 4.9 Ghz @ 1.34, stable.Added A50 corsair heatsinkOC not even needed, 4.two-four.5 are increidbly simple to reach and the benefit up to four.9 is marginal.Amazing... Worth the funds to me following some use. Video rendering much a great deal quicker than on my E8400.300+ dollars, I was hesitant to upgrade at 1st, but immediately after comparing to previous i7's the cost was effectively worth it. Mistakenly purchased Corsair 2000mhz DDR3... Not compatible with 2600k, require to be 2133 or 1866. Operating on Asus p6p87 Pro, GTX 560ti, 8GB Corsair XMS.Upgraded from Core 2 Duo E8400 (served me properly)This is 1000000x greater.Paired with an Intel 510 SSD, I wouldn't have carried out it without having an ssd, this Processor is so rapidly and capable and normal hard drive would just not be appropriate :P |

I used to have an amd phenom 9550 before this chip and man what a difference. I'm currently running at 4.6ghz without any prombelms and no issues.
