Intel EXPI9301CTBLK PCI-Express Network Adapter
Cons: It was 30 bucks. Immediately after buying it, I found a local sale for a 2 port PCIX version for 10 bucks T_T

Pros: Cheapest nic I could find at the time that was compatible with vmware and had 802.1q vlan tagging
Comment:
I'm using it with a pfsense running in vmware workstation right now. Unfortunately these are one of the few nic's that'll work bridged in vmware. Otherwise, good performance.

Intel EXPI9301CTBLK PCI-Express Network Adapter
Cons: None

Pros: Just works, low-profile bracket included, perfect for VMWare ESXi
Comment:
I bought this to go in a HP Pavillion s5118f that I was trying (and failing) to install VMWare ESXi on. Received it, replaced the standard bracket with the bundled low-profile, dropped it into the spare PCIe socket, turned on and off went the installer. ESXi is running smoothly. It's been absolutely fine since I put it in. No problems, no hiccups nothing. It just works - which is exactly what I wanted. So if you are wanting to try out ESXi but the installer fails and you don't want to mess around with compiling an oem.tgz and custom install disk, give this a go.

Intel EXPI9301CTBLK PCI-Express Network Adapter
Cons: not really

Pros: Small and efficient
Comment:
Bought that trying to lower my ping while gaming, and i have no scientific proof but it seems more stable then my MoBo gigabyte adapter.....so with a price match it worth a try, it surely can't be worst than the motherboard adapter.

Intel EXPI9301CTBLK PCI-Express Network Adapter
Cons:None

Pros:Easy install despite having to find drivers for XP, PCI-e, GbE
Comment:
Bought on forum recommendation for building a pfSense box. So far it's been performing just like any other NIC I've had. Can't say it's increased speeds or pings, but I had been using GbE adapters previously. For the price, I would buy this again over other adapters.

Intel EXPI9301CTBLK PCI-Express Network Adapter
Cons:none.

Pros:Low LatencyPCIe 1xHas Small Form Factor bracket
Comment:
I buy these quite regularly for file servers and workstations (gaming) or anywhere I transfer large files.Using the PCIe interface instead of onboard NIC enables lower latency, and real-world speed gains.Anyone wanting to upgrade the efficiency of their network speeds, this is a good/cheap first step for faster file transfers or gaming ping time/latency.

this is awesome, faster than my mobo's gigabit network card, it died, so rather than RMA I jsut bought this, but I am able to copy files on my local lan faster than before, as well downloading and surfing and copying on my lan is much faster, no slow downs, its really great for the price, again it works with Windows 7, no playing around looking for driversbut hey it's Intel, can u really go wrong with them

Intel EXPI9301CTBLK PCI-Express Network Adapter
Cons:None so far....

Pros:Works great, small, lowers ping.
Comment:
Although I haven't used this for a lot of online gaming(yet), I did get this card based on other people's recommendations, and so far it's been a good piece of hardware. These Intel NICs are supposedly good at lowering your ping, especially compared to onboard NICs, and although I haven't run this through a battery of tests, I did notice that on one of the online speed checking sites, on which it always gave my onboard NIC a ping of 28 or 29, this Intel NIC always gets 18, or 19!Another nice thing about this card, is that you don't even need to install the Intel drivers to get it working, because Windows(at least Vista & Win7) recognizes it right away, and automatically installs the necessary drivers.
