Great DVD Writer
Comment:
I purchased this about 2 months ago and have already burned tons of DVD's and there are many lightscribe templates to choose from using the software that comes with!! I would HIGHLY recommend this product! The price is right, its fast enough, and works great!

Kanguru USB 2.0 22x DVD+/-RW Drive Model U2-DVDRW-20LS LightScribe Support
Comment:
I was completely skeptical when I read that this DVD burner was Mac compatible. I thought, Ok.. the drive itself will probably work, but the lightscribe part probably won't. Especially when it's inexpensive compared to the other brands available for Mac $100+. Burned my first music CD, complete with lightscribe label in less then 5 minutes!! For PC users, it comes with a copy of Nero Express with everything you need.. even better! I would HIGHLY recommend this product! Im so impressed with this product. The price is right, its fast enough, and works great!

Kanguru USB 2.0 22x DVD+/-RW Drive Model U2-DVDRW-20LS LightScribe Support
Comment:
The specs of this external drive sounded great on paper so I ordered it (which is why I rated the features as 4 stars). Turns out the drive was DOA so I was unable to test performance. In my opinion , the quality was very low to allow a dead unit to leave the production facility. The value is questionable since a working unit would definitely garner a better score from me. Tiger was good enough to issue an RA# without making me deal directly with the manufacturer. I ended up ordering an internal DVD drive and an enclosure instead which, ironically, ended up being more cost effective for (presumably) more reputable components. This is my first experience with Kanguru and it has not been positive.
