Kingston 1024MB DDRAs a novice, upgrading the RAM in my PC filled me with dread. I chose to pay a few extra bucks to get the Kingston brand based on reviews that their tech support was good. I am glad I did as having put the 2x 1GB sticks in slots 2 and 4 (1 and 3 filled with original 2x 256 MB) I got a black screen with a flashing cursor. One call to Kingston and a switch round of the sticks and it is working just fine. Boots up now in 25 sec instead of about 2-3 min. Very pleased.

Kingston 1024MB DDRIt helped in certain applications, but not as much I wouold had hoped. Booting up computer still takes a while, but Office programs work faster. I went from 512 MB of RAM and added a 1 GB stick for a total of 1.5 GB RAM.

Kingston 1024MB DDRMy pc came stock with 512 Mb of ram and was very slow and the cable internet connection was always being lost so I would have to reboot and turn off my cable modem to have a connection again. I maxed out my ram with 2 of these chips and my computer is much faster and I can now leave the computer on for days on end. Im very happy with the product and the price was very very reasonable.

Kingston 1024MB DDRIt works great. I went from a 256MB and a 512MB to the 512MB and the 1024MB. I just wish I could find a 2048MB card with the same specs without it costing me an arm and a leg. I am thinking about possibly buying another 1024MB and going up to 2048MB though. I will think about that though. At least my computer is working MUCH faster now.
