Kingston 1024MB DDRI was running 512mb of ram with XP Home. 2.8 processor. I bought 3gb of ram. Sometimes i run 3 & 4 programs at once. It runs faster, but not as fast as I had hoped. My system can handle 4gb of ram. But seeing the way it runs with 3.5gb I dont think another 512mb will make a bit of difference.

Kingston 1024MB DDRI've had my (2) One Gig sticks installed for about 6 weeks now. Internet pages load super fast, videos now synchronize the voice with the image, and multiple windows open on the desktop do not slow down the computer. One of the two 1 Gig sticks failed after 3 days.....they took back the old one and mailed a new one, no charge....I had to pay the return postage though. All is well now. I'm happy with the memory and would buy it again. Jim

I added two 1 gig cards to my current .5 gig of RAM. 2.5 gigs of RAM enabled my AMD 2400xp processor to handle my new 22" LCD monitor without delays and I can still stream Pandora radio while searching the web.

They took me all of 3 minutes to install. I am thouroughly pleased with the performance of the memory. Tiger Direct has always been the best deal on the net. I always check out newegg, amazon and a couple others. Tiger Direct is hands down the best source of Gear out there. I have been a loyal customer for more than 5 years. Even with shipping I probably save 15-20 dollars since I got 2 memory sticks. And I doubled my RAM, runs much faster and smooth on games now, put my old sticks in my older PC which only had a 256K now has 1G, so made 2 PCs faster with one purchase :D
