What a difference 2GB of RAM makes in my 4yr.old Toshiba laptop. It came with only 512MG, and between Win XP and all the proprietary crap Toshiba loads on it never ran up to its full potential before. So slow I almost trashed it. Now it's like a brand new machine. Ram sticks were easy to install and the price was amazing. Real good deal and 2 day delivery!!!

Now I'm stuck with this memory that wouldn't work and had to order another through another supplier. And I live in Mexico with a CA mailing address so I can't just put it back in the envelope and send it back!

This was a perfect choice for my Dell Inspiron 6000, it had 512MB which was pretty slow so upgrading to 2GB of this RAM made a big difference to my laptop, the performance and speed its now great, opening and loading any software and files has become much faster. Great product if I had to buy more RAM Ill definitely buy this one again

First I must say, the price is unbeatable. I paid more for a 512mb upgrade when I purchased my Toshiba Satallite 3 years ago. The self-install was easy and the computer recognized it instantly. Since I wasn't in dire need (I went from 1024MB to 1.99GB), I saw slight performance changes. I have an external hard drive that I would have to shut down so Windows XP would finish loading but that's history. My very large pics collection loads a bit faster as well. Now I can load a few other RAM draining apps and it won't slow me down.

Ordered two to boost the speed of a 2-yr-old Dell Inspiron 6000. One worked fine, had to replace/reorder the second, which also now works fine. While using only one, the laptop worked almost as well as after installing both.

I added 2 sticks (upgrade from the factory 512mb to 2GB)to my wife's Toshiba satellite A105 series, running XP. It definately made a big difference in downloads and logins, and no more freeze/lock ups. Installation was VERY EASY!!! (less than 5 minutes), Turn the PC off, Remove ALL power-ac and battery, remove the access panel, remove the original memory card and insert the new cards--one in each slot), close the access panel, insert battery and power up--check the bios to ensure memory upgrade is recognized--TA DA! This is the second upgrade to a Dell laptop in a month. First was to increase factory 526Mb to 1.5G. Second was to replace the original with another 1G. Modules fit and system booted up with no issues. Performance greatly improved.
