The old Toshiba was pretty slow, but two of these Kingstons changed everything. Installation was sooo simple. Bring your old laptop up to blazing speed and extend its life. Plus you cant go wrong with Kingston.

I purchased this for my Vista based Acer Aspire laptop which was slow to open browsers and apps. I received my module, in usual speedy Tiger Direct fashion, in sealed retail packaging which I opened, installed in under 5 minutes and booted up. Memory was recognized and worked perfectly. I noticed an immediate increase in performance with this upgrade. If you can't afford the high dollar laptops like me, then a memory upgrade will make that budget friendly computer think it's worth a million bucks.

Hey guys, just got this 1gb ram and installed it to my very old laptop which was working very slow and freezing all the time. But now everything has changed. My laptop is not freezing anymore. Purchased this RAM module for my Acer Aspire One netbook. Works like a charm and I now have 1.5 gig memory which is a big help with Windows. A word of caution, if you are not experienced at installing RAM on notebooks, and you want to intall it in an Acer Netbook, take it to a repair center to have it done. It is a very complicated and delicate procedure.

Picked up two of these for my Dell Inspiron, and they were a perfect match. Much faster. I read all the reviews, and the one below that gave this item a one star, is obviously a bonehead, as well as the computer repair tech that tried to help him. I checked on the computer model they tried to upgrade, and it does not even TAKE DDR2 memory. If you plan to do any upgrades, know what ya got, jeesh.. I am retired from many years in the IT industry, and have always used Kingston, and they are quality people. You cant go wrong, but DO know what you have and what you need.

Just installed 2 of these in my DELL Inspiron 9400. I have been running Vista with 1GB of RAM before. With these new 1GB x2 RAM my laptop is now flying!! Really satisfied with both the price and performance of the RAM.

I purchased two of these chips for my HP laptop to upgrade from 1MB to 2MB because I installed Vista. I just installed them and they are recognized and working according to my computer. I am EXTREMELY happy because this was a simple procedure and it turned out well. My computers performance has increased and this makes me satisified at present. The price was also very, VERY, good! TigerDirect is usually my first source for computer components because of their quality and pricing.

I recently purchased two of these for my Acer 5050 laptop. I was amazed at how easy it was to install, took all of 10 minutes. The memory is fast, and vista accepted it right away. It went so smoothly that I thought there was a problem!

I bougth this product to upgrade my gateway MX6455 notebook. When I got the product it didn't fit in the RAM slots. I took it to the local computer store and had them look at it, to see if I did anything wrong and they couldn't get it to fit either.
