I put this in a Dell XPS 400 and it worked great. The only problem I had was my own fault. In an XPS 400, there are two banks of memory slots; physically, there are 2 slots next to each other and then 2 slots a little above them. I assumed that each pair that was physically close were a bank. It turned out to be one from each set; this caused me to be unable to mix the original memory with the new until I figured out my mistake. Everything was fine then; keep in mind, all this was NOT the fault of this site or the memory. I'm just informing other users. I would highly recommend this item; increased my speed noticeably. |
