Kingston 1024MB PC5400 DDR2 667MHz Memory

This is great ram for the price, i got 2gb's and i am going to soon install another gig. When i used cpu id, it says that it is only runnng at 333mhz so i dont know whats up with that.

For the price this is very good RAM. I would not reccomend it for any kind of gaming or high performance rig but for 90% of computer users it is a great value. I replaced 2X1 Gig sticks of OCZ 4-4-4-12 with 4X1 Gig stick of this ram in a Vista ultimate X64 media PC and the performance rating went down fron a 5.9 to 4.8 so speed is lacking but it does work well and has resolved some stability issues that existed due to only having 2 gigs in a Vista X64 system with shared video memory. Considering I spent half as huch for twice the ammount of the original RAM I can live with the slower speeds. For a standard netsurf/office app PC this will work just as well as RAM 4-8X the cost.

I got this RAM 6 months ago and have nothing but issues with it. I did not realize that the RAM was crashing my system, but about every 2 hours it went down... I am hoping the RMA process goes through smoothly.

Terry, this is RAm for PCs not for laptops. Laptops use SODIMM RAM. This is a pretty good RAM for the price. 667MHz is pretty fast.

Great product!! very stable.. using with my ASUS P5N32-SLI Mobo.. decided to go with 667mhz of this product instead of the 800mhz. Lighting fast response times... the core 2 E6600 does nothing but help...
