Works, low cost, lifetime warranty, Kingston name, works in Acer Aspire 1 AOD150 netbook. None so far. I'm writing this evaluation primarily since I had a hard time discovering mention of the Acer netbooks in the memory critiques. Everyone appears to be announcing when RAM works with the Asus Eee PCs, but no one's talking about the Acers, which produced me a small nervous. So I'm here to say that I ordered this along with my new AOD150, and upon popping it in (very uncomplicated) and rebooting, WinXP recognized the full 2GB appropriate away, without having so much as a peep. Enjoy :)

It's 2GB of RAM. Runs like it ought to. Not terribly exciting. Kind of a tight fit in my Macbook. Might be because of how the RAM is installed in the macbook, though. No excuse to have much less than 2GB SO-DIMMs in your compute r- not sure why they even sell 1GB, except for older chipsets that could not support it all

Took a computer system from 512MB to 2GB and since of acquiring a single 2GB stick it is now upgradeable to 4GB. Given the economy, that can be critical. None Price tag is wonderful and computer system is now speedy and nonetheless upgradeable.

Works like memory is supposed to! None so far.... Installed in a Acer Aspire 1 D150, method discovered it and had no troubles. I was a little unsure just before I bought but applied the filter command to search for reviews with the words "acer aspire" before I bought this as Newegg's memory config tool does not seem to mention netbooks.

My pc recognized the ram. It is showing that I have 3 gigs rather of two. Can't feel of any. Even although my lappy recognized the ram, my experience rating was still 4.8. I would have thought it would have elevated. Possibly it has something to do with not taking advantage of dual channeling anymore? I do know that my laptop or computer is far more zippy than prior to.

1. Price - Compared to other stuff, it has a decent tag.2. Firm- I have applied a lot of of Kingston items, they are not the very best but they havent given any problems and do what they produced for and thats what my expectation is.3. I have checked all company memories - believe me OCZ, Corsair are also great - only cost is distinct. My model is HP6710b - a company laptop and right after upgrading from 1gb, it is nice to see quicker XP.Often keep in mind Windows 32 bit has a limitation to recognize only 3GB of RAM. In some make of laptops, if you install morethan 3GBƒƯ), you may see Blue screen. This is not any fault of memory but its coz of OS. Beware of it when you want to upgrade. There is none - Keep in mind, if you do not know the correct clock frequency and if you do not know your bus capacity, then it will be a con from you and if you install a mismatched memory, it might result in slow performance/motherboard damage. I know the freq and other stuff as i am an Engineer. But if you are new, then i recommend to go to crossair/Ocz web page to check the slot installed memory in your laptop. Installing strategyɅ. Switch off the laptop2. Get rid of the battery3. Press ON button to release static currentfour. Release the static current from your body by holding any metal table/metal base.five. Open the RAM case behind the laptop and if u want to replace take out the old RAM or if empty check the slot where you want to location.6. Becareful - u sud not touch any of the inner chips.7. Place in between the latches8. screw up the RAM case.9. Put the battery once more10. Boot the technique and check the memory info in BIOS by pressing F10 followed by program facts 11. It will say the memory installed and you can comeout.12. Boot the OS.13. Check the Mycomputer-properties14. Have enjoyable.

Going from 1GB to two.5GB produced my Macbook extremely snappy. I can now run an XP virtual machine without having bogging down the program. Really worthwhile purchase. When I went back three months later to get a different one, the price had doubled!

Comment:
Installed this memory in my Asus 1000HD Netbook and it booted up without any problems. The ASUS website indicated I might have to flash my BIOS before the system would recognize the increase of memory from one Gig to two Gigs, however it was not necessary.
