swap 512MB x2 for 2048MB x2 and it just worked
Comment:
After I found out my Dell Vostro 1000 does support 4Gb of ram after a BIOS update, the newest, I had to order 2 of these DIMMs. The price was just right. I'm currently running Ubuntu 10.04 x64. Going from 1Gb to 4Gb made a big difference for me.

It's Memory alright
Comment:
Installed as easily as described, system booted first time and has been running uninterrupted for 3 weeks. Only problem is with the Lenovo T60 & Windows XP - only recognizes 3G or the 4G installed. Performance boost going from 2G to 3G was well worth the cost.

HPCompaq Presario700 running WinVista
Comment:
This worked great in a HPCompaq Presario700 running Win-Vista Pro. It helped with loading and overall speed issues. The both original Hynix512mb 2Rx16 PC2-5300 S-555-12 had to come out even though the speeds are the same. I am considering buying a second just to max the PC out and get everything we can out of it.

Quality Brand
Comment:
Upgraded my Dell Inspiron 1420 from 3GB to 4GB in Windows 7 Environment, It shows 4GB installed, but It says only 3.5GB is usable! Not what I expected as the laptop supports a max of 4GB. Otherwise, I'd go with Kingston most of the time.

Kingston Memory is very reliable
Comment:
I installed this memory into my Gateway Computer to replace my 2 sticks of 512MB. I wore a grounding strap to prevent any kind of electrical spark that might damage my computer. After restarting the computer, I checked to see if the memory (Ram) was was reading 4GB. I am happy to say this was the case. Delivery was fairly quick. Thanks Tiger Direct for a quality product.

The Single Best Way To Speed Up Your Computer!
Comment:
My netbook is convenient for travel and an excellent mobile device for staying in contact with family and friends, but I felt I needed a little more memory for watching videos and the Kingston 2Gb Memory Upgrade improved video playback immensely. If you need more efficiency from your computer, why not upgrade your memory, it's easy enough, so get it done.

Nice Upgrade for a Netbook
Comment:
I installed this memory in a Lenovo Netbook that I had purchased for my Daughter. We are running Windows 7 Home Premium. It came with Win 7 basic. The netbook runs pretty good with the additional 1 gig of memory (for a total of 2 gig)and OS upgrade.

RAM Boost for my ASUS
Comment:
I bought this product for the memory upgrade of my new netbook , the Asus Eee PC 1005HA-PU1X-BK. The ASUS is upgradable and this memory upgrade will boost the RAM of the Netbook from 1 GB to 2 GB. It runs great and video calls are much more clear. Kingston is a name you can trust and I recommend you buy this quality product.

I've always bought Kingston Ram and it hasn't disappointed me yet. This is a great add-on to the 512 in my laptop, it can run vista enterprise very smoothly without any crashes. It's at a good price as well. Definitely recommend it.
