Superb value, speedy shipping, which is usual for Newegg. Easily popped into MacBook Pro 2.two GHz Intel Core Duo notebook. Necessary added RAM to run Windows Vista by way of Fusion - runs significantly more quickly now. N/A Just had to take away the battery, take away 3 smaller screws (need a extremely tiny screwdriver), spread the retainers w/ fingers, slightly lift the currently-installed RAM to a slight angle and pull (each of them). Then insert new RAM at a slight angle, decrease and push til it pops in (each of them). Replace screws, then battery. Regrettably, I now have two unused 1 Gig RAM chips.

Low-cost. None. This gave my MBP two.33Ghz run substantially much more quickly. The most notable pickup is the speed at which it jumps among applications. My version of the MBP can only access 3GB of the RAM, but it is, nevertheless, a nice improvement to the machine's overall performance.

Worked perfectly in my Aluminum Initial generation Imac 20" Intel Core 2 Duo two.0GHz.. Went from the typical 1 gig to four gig. Fantastic None but I didn't see anywhere in the specs that these would work with an Imac but they do.. Kingston internet site recommends these for this Imac.

Great item, Wonderful Price! I am in Iraq and purchased this item on 17 FEB 2008 and recieved it on 29 FEB 2008. Even with my address becoming an APO and going by way of military post, I was able to recieve it in just under two weeks. I popped in the memory and began my Mac and didn't have any concerns. Awesome product! A complete lot less costly than the Apple memory [軸.00 4GB 667MHz DDR2 (PC2-5300) - 2x2GB SO-DIMMs]. None I have a Macbook 2.2GHz/OS X렸GB and my boot time integrated 7 seconds to apple logo and 32 seconds to login screen.

Wonderful value. Newegg was completely useful and effective Not compatible with I-Mac Intel Core duo 4.1 Turns out it will only take two-1 gig cards. Regardless of being DDR2 667 (PC2 5300) these won't do it. The guidelines had been not valuable to ascertain that. Subsequent time I'll use the "configurator"

It operates flawlessly on my 13 inch two.1Ghz Macbook, good value and ships fast. My initially time ever installing RAM, and it was super simple. Watch videos if you need assistance.I opened up nearly every single app that I have and it nonetheless runs smooth. My bootup speed did not go any more quickly. Not a large problem with me haha. Do not settle for 2gb of ram if you had been pondering about upgrading from 1gb. Get as much as you can as long as you can afford it, it will be well worth the funds.

Significant enhance on my Mac's efficiency, in particular for the cost. This was my 1st ever acquire from Newegg, and was incredibly pleased with both the price and quickness of shipping. Thanks Newegg!!I am an Adobe Photoshop CS3 expert, and I wanted some added memory to speed up my workflow. Photoshop CS3 opens in, I kid you not, 2 seconds flat! Now there have been some upgrades to CS3, which runs faster anyway, but I can truly see a difference going from the original Samsung 2GB (which came with my brand new 17" Macbook Pro) to the Kingston 4GB. Whilst the rest of my Adobe CS3 Style Premium runs a lot faster now, I can actually see a difference in Photoshop. Not only does this ram improve my Adobe software's overall performance, I use Garage Band for writing and recording and I have also noticed a performance boost! I've owned this product for at least 5-six months now. I've seen that my laptop or computer will freeze up a little from time to time. I don't believe that this is the rams fault? Could be the amount of files I have on my computer. I hold teetering on the edge of 80gb from the 160gb that I had. So possessing it half total could be the purpose. I did a lot of study before paying for this ram... I was underneath the impression that my 2.33GHz 17" Macbook Pro would only recognize 3GB of the 4GB of ram, simply because that's what I had read in some forums. Nonetheless, I did make the upgrade from Tiger to Leopard last October throughout it's release, and when I set up my Kingston ram, it recognized all 4GB! Which made me extremely happy!

Easy installed. Works completely in my Macbook pro. I'm not sure if because of my RAM or some thing else. After installing Windows working with boot camp, my windows didnot boot appropriately. It hung ahead of the welcome screen. I got 1 blue screen of death. Somehow, my windows recognize this 4GB of Ram as 2.98GB (usually 3.25GB or three.five) Did not have a likelihood to attempt other brand on the MAC so....

Wonderful RAM for the money. Performs perfectly in a Mac Mini. Mac Mini can only use three.2GB of it, but I knew that going into it. I went with the 4GB set to get matched sticks. Not the RAMs fault even though, it's a chipset limitation. There are less expensive sets out there, but I bought this for it's Apple compatibility. I've read some testimonials for other merchandise saying they didn't match nicely in the Apple slots. No concept how accurate that is, but these match completely and didn't price considerably additional than the non-Apple ones. The distinction was less than it would have price to ship back RAM that doesn't fit, so it was worth it to me.

Straightforward set up on my Macbook Pro. I purchased this over the decrease priced ram due to the free shipping, which was quite speedy! That isn't the only speedy thing even though, my Macbook Pro just flies. It is a superb sight and I pity anyone who is stuck with a Computer. NONE! Uncomplicated. Fast. Fun. Acquire this more than the much less pricey brands. Its worth the additional ten dollars when you get (IMO) much more reliable RAM and no cost shipping.

I installed this RAM on an Aluminum two.0GHz iMac. Was quite simple to install and only took about 5-ten minutes. The personal computer booted up fine, so I checked the "About This Mac" screen. Sure sufficient, all 4GB were there. I then ran Rember (free Mac program) to test the RAM and make sure anything was fine. Ran 3 loops and every thing checked out. All in all, it was a truly fantastic upgrade. I didn't encounter any problems with this RAM. I'd suggest you run Rember a couple instances just to make certain your RAM is OK. My pc appears to begin up more quickly now, and it doesn't use any SWAP. The best aspect is, I under no circumstances have to worry about upgrading my RAM once again. ƔGB is the maximum quantity supported on my iMac)

Minimal packaging and futzing around. Operates. Didn't come with a jar of gourmet olives. Even though the mac mini will only use a max of 3gb, the price tag for a 4gb kit was the similar as a 3gb, but with 4gb I can also take benefit of DDR. So the selection was effortless. Popping open the mac and replacing the memory was simple soon after watching a youtube video on it, and I saved a ton compared to what Apple charges to take your mac mini to just 2gb. Four times the memory at half the value. It doesn't take a "genius" to figure out exactly where Apple makes its' income...

Once I was into OS X I checked almost everything and it operates just fine. 4GB of RAM on this child is incredible!! None so far. This RAM operates in a MacBook perfectly from my expertise.
