Presently becoming the only stick in my system, it does a fairly excellent job of maintaining the set up running crisply. It didn't take much to pop this into the memory slot and get the system running. The heat spreaders make it kind of fat. I think about if i were to place one more stick in there wouldn't be enough space to fit a pin in between the two. The method had difficulty posting the BIOS, so I believed it was the ram at very first. Turned out I made a stupid error with the heatsink and the CPU. I've only got around 700MB of the stick to function with since of my onboard video, but it manages to kick it just as well. Kudos, Kingston.

Performs good at DDR2800 speeds. Smooth and flawless @ four-4-4-12. Will not run at 1066 with the specified timings. Continually get blue screen for the duration of boot up. This is DDR2800 ram that you can just overclock. Don't devote the extra five on this, get the 800 that is the revision and just overclock it.

Runs at stock and is capable of overclocking. This is the 1st Kingston Hyper X I have owned and am very happy. I have Vital Balistix and had to return 4 sticks for replacement and the Kingston runs with out any problems below any memory anxiety tests. None Will acquire DDR three in the future.

Good performance, speed, and so far no noticeable problems occurring. For the value this was a wonderful get. I can now window from applications back to the desktop nearly seamlessly; even from data intensive apps like games its wonderful! I have not tried too many applications other than ImgBurn, COD4, Combat Arms, and I forget what else. I have at present 2GB of these modules 1066 DDRII of course, and they work wonderfully with Windows 7 Ultimate x64. I encourage you to obtain these modules if you are searching for a performance boost, will most likely be the least expensive and most effective way to put your Computer into warp speeds. A tiny pricey but not as well pricey from the other modules that I looked at.

Quickly and more than reasonably priced. For the most element you seriously can't go incorrect with Kingston goods. At least I've never ever had a problem with something they make. It;s not free? :) Seriously even though, none that I can assume of.

Outstanding Memory. Runs perfectly at 1066 MHz on my ASUS M3A Motherboard with a Phenom Agena 9500 Quad-core CPU. I purchased this module to test to see if my M3A had a challenge running DDR2 1066 modules due to the fact it won't run a pair of two Gig modules from yet another manufacturer at this speed. This module worked perfectly when I set the Memory speed to the module's Spec, i.e. 1066 MHz and the memory timings at 5-5-5-15. (NOTE: This is NOT overclocking). The module passed all Memtest86+ tests with no complications. I extremely recommend Kingston HyperX modules. None. The ASUS M3A and many other motherboards won't run DDR2 1066 modules at 1066 MHz by default. Rather, hey will run the module at 800 MHz. You have to manually set the Memory clock to 1066 MHz in the BIOS Advanced/JumperFree Configuration page. Be confident to upgrade to BIOS version 1001 or greater. Also, the M3A may well run the module with memory clock settings at greater than 5-five-five-15 (e.g. 5-7-7-24). This is also standard. These settings ought to be manually set to the correct values.Right here are the settings that have worked nicely for me on my M3A motherboard:Under the JumperFree Configuration page:AI Overclocking: ManualUnder the DRAM Timing Configuration Page:Memory Clock Mode: ManualMemclock Value: 10662T Mode: EnabledDRAM Timing Mode: DCT0 (or Each)CAS Latency (CL): 5 clockstWCL: AutomobiletRP: 5 clockstRCD: five clocksRAS: 15 clocksGanged Mode: EnabledNote: If you opt for 'Both', then the parameters above may well appear far more than as soon as. Excellent RAM Latency good heat spreaders, quite attractive idk if this is b/c of my MB or PSU but it wouldnt run at two.2Volts so for that reason ran at 1.95 volts and couldnt up it any so it only ran at 800mhz :( thats fine for now ill update my PSU and MOBO soon hopfully Obtain this in the 2Gb stick dont go with 1Gb upgrading wont be as uncomplicated 2Gb is less costly i believe then acquire two 1gb sticks woot woot

Price is terrific! The heat sinks are fairly. Asus motherboard M3A78-EM only will see two gigs not 4 and single channel at that. Referred to as Asus once again and got an additional jerk on the telephone trigger I was upgrading my G-skill DDR2 800 cause it only see it as single channel as properly. Both sets of memory are on the QV List for my board. Only gets 4 eggs cause I can't tell if it does the timings or not. It's now in a Dell Demenison cause it's the only CPU in the home that had the ability to see it as dual channel. Attempted three distinct motherboards and similar result. Bios tweeks didn't work either.
