Kingston memory has generally carried out the job. With two sticks my OC is extremely stable, and scores are better than my prior scores with only 4Gb. None but. Yea, I don't need 8Gb too often. 4Gb is plenty for most any person. But, my HDD is blinking less and my overall performance is equal or greater than just before. I removed best finish Corsiar XMX sticks and these stand right up to the XMS's. Corsairs had been wonderful sticks. I wanted 8Gb for my Win7 X64 technique. Possibly 8Gb more than 4Gb is a waist to some people today, but it surely doesn't hurt anything. I am quite happey that I got these sticks. Corsairs for sale... lol Sorry Corsair, I am nonetheless a fan. |

Pros:8GB was 50 buck when I bought it, DDR3-1333 but work at 1600 (memory is suppose to run at 1.5V at default setting) Comment:
I can only get 8GB when not in dual channel, working with MSI maybe the problem is the mobo. At 50$ it is still good would have paid as much for 8GB DDR3-1333 not dual channel so it's no big deal but still a deception for now. |

Picked these up in hopes they would run rated on an AMD 890FX motherboard. May have gotten lucky, after a bit of tweaking got them to run memtest86+ stable at 1600Mhz 8-8-8-24-32-1T Trfc110ns o1.65V, will try for a bit more later but for now am very pleased. |

When mentioning in my prior assessment I state "memory runs @ 1.5 volts". That is only after initial installation. If your system does not see this RAM as 1.65 volts @ 1600 Mhz then set you memory profile choice in BIOS to XMP and it will auto tune to 1600 at proper timings. none |
