Low-cost, reputable, perfect selection I've observed for these strapped for cash. It's only DDR333, but it could be worse... Bought my 1st stick back in late ཀ, just purchased one more one final month. Each worked just fine till my board blew a cap last week, and I anticipate they'll function just as nicely in the board I just ordered to replace it. Not the most desirable RAM ever, but the perfect in its value variety.

2 512mb worked superbly with the dell dimension 4550 desktop. Economical price tag. effortless upgrade. None. Newegg gives primo service just about every single time under no circumstances fail. They pass the exam at 200% in my book.

Kingston is good. All my personal computer likes it. never ever have any dilemma. nothing at all to complain so far. Excellent service. No difficulty executing company in future. haven't had to make contact with customer services for defect.

This RAM does function in a Dell Dimension 4500. Immediately after failing in a buyer's Dell 2400, I attempted it in one more consumer machine as a test and it worked fine. The listing and specs suggest that this RAM really should function in a Dell Dimension 2400 but it does not. Seated properly it would not perform with the existing RAM stick or by itself from either slot. Computer would not POST with this RAM. This is the challenge with mail-order RAM, it's very difficult to know for certain if it will function in your specific machine before you try it. Kingston has a excellent rep, second only to Critical I believe, but I've still had failures like this with it. The RAM stick is very good, has the correct specs but is just not compatible in the target machine.

Economical RAM for older computers. You don't want to commit a lot of cash on RAM that will soon be outdated. THIS IS CR@PPY Worth RAM !!!! Not well made item. THIS IS "VALUE RAM" This is NOT clearly stated in Item Description. Which seriously p!ss#s me off. I hate Worth Ram and attempt to prevent it at all expense. It took New Egg two weeks to method this return right after they recieved it back from me. I have no thought why it took so lengthy. This is my first negative practical experience with New Egg over the final six years. I wish they would make it less complicated to speak with a human someone in buyer service with the power to truly assist a consumer.

Affordable, functional, stable none that I've observed Kingston is almost certainly my beloved brand of ram that I've had. I've in no way had any problems from them, and they appear to make "The most affordable of the superior" as far as rating ram would go.

Performs excellent in a bunch of Shuttle PCs that came with 256mb of DDR 266. Tripled their RAM in minutes. None Good value, no complaints. Watch your hands on the sharp plastic packaging.

Works excellent in an older Dell 2400 2.4 celeron. Added to the 256mb that it came with originally, the pc performs considerably better. Most likely could have gone with a 1gb stick, but specs indicated 512mb per slot with 2 slots. I did not want to take a opportunity. I feel that 768mb in an older machine like this is enough. And the value at NE was fantastic! 1ǘ of the brike and mortars.

Upgraded an older Compaq desktop to a max of 1gb which enhanced boot up and plan access instances substantially. Of course, there were other tweaks to Windows XP on the box I was working on that factored into this. No compatibility difficulties with the new memory but 1 really should investigation this just before getting. No cons to speak of. Delivery of item was as promised. Becoming a first time Newegg 'buyer', I will use their service once more. As a tech who does computer system repairs as a hobby, don't count on a simple addition of memory to resolve a 'slow computer system' challenge. Do your study on the issue and permit the further memory to perform to its potential.

it works wonderful, the computer system recognized it as soon as i turned it on, and when the computer has been on for a bit it genuinely begins to perform quick. maybe, its just me but appears like the startup and all of the technique is the identical as before. other than that none so far. i dont know if it has something to do with this but ive been finding windows firewall popups ever given that i installed this ram (there were none bfore) and it takes me to a seperate site exactly where it asks me to purchase 3rd party computer software.... but like i mentioned dont know if it has anything to do with this.

Superb memory chip! This is the fourth a single I have bought and none of them have failed. I have been operating Corsair for 2 years with no complications, would advocate for any individual wanting reliable memory. Ran two different memory test's more than night on all chips with no errors. None As often NewEgg delivered when promised
