The RAM produced my home desktop noticeably faster. The original set up had a 2x1GB and 2x512MB configuration. These two sticks replaced the two 512MB sticks so that the laptop or computer could move from Vista 32-bit to Windows 7 64-bit. Haven't discovered any nevertheless.
