Bought this as a upgrade for my HP Mini 311 netbook. very happy so far with it. it maxed out my mini sata interface wich for some reason only hits 160mb/s reads. Still this is much better that the old drive that came with the unit. I had a problem before with micro-studder when playing media but this drive fixed that(i suspect it was a problem with old Hitachi drive). Battery bar is also reporting my average power usage is down 20% giving me 5:20 lifetime instead of 4:15 before changing the drive. Was so happy i decided to order another for the desktop and see what this can do with a proper interface. Highly recommended.

Kingston SSDNow V Series Gen II 64GB 2.5IN SATA2 Solid State Disk Flash Drive
Cons: Not quite as fast as the more expensive models64GB may not be enough for OS, games, and everything else

Pros: Very inexpensiveMuch faster response than a hard driveMakes multitasking a breeze
Comment:
It's hard to describe  just how much faster your OS and programs load with an SSD. Even now I am installing a game, downloading Windows updates, installing other apps, and visiting NCIX, and there is no grinding or waiting at all.You can get SSDs that are even faster, but they are far more expensive. This is a great SSD at an affordable price. I have bought 3 of them already and am thoroughly impressed.Whether you are replacing a 5400rpm laptop hard drive or trying to get better load times on your desktop, an SSD is the cheapest way to make your computer significantly faster. This drive is a good drive at an unbeatable price. Stop reading this review and get one! You won't be disappointed.

Kingston SSDNow V Series Gen II 64GB 2.5IN SATA2 Solid State Disk Flash Drive
Cons: Wish it was 1T.

Pros: Fast reads, effortless setup, no noise.
Comment:
This is my first SSD drive so it was a new experience for me. My comparison was with a 150G VelociRaptor, which was my OS drive for Win7. The Kingston drive leaves it in the dust. My OS is now very 'snappy' and downloads are outrageously fast. If you were ever on the fence about getting an SSD drive, hop off now because the price is right and the deal is great!

Cons: - Does not come with required desktop mounting brackets.- Capacity is still kind of small.

Pros: - fast.- relatively inexpensive.

A much needed improvement from my raid 640s black.Cut down boot time by 10 seconds. From the time i press the power button to being on my desktop all loaded up and ready to go , takes about 9 seconds. It took 4 hours to ghost my drive with Norton last night. When it came to ghosting the drive there was a bunch of errors i've never seen before. I scrambled to get a ghosting tool that worked. I stumbled upon Acronis migrate easy. The name of the program says it all. Migrated my main drives to the ssd. Disconnected and set as active boot. Easy-breezy. All done. Very very happy with this purchase. Will surely be getting another one for my laptop. Like everyone says , once you try ssd you don't look back.Granted this isn't the fastest on the market , but for 115$ i think it's a great deal.HD Tune 2.5564GB Kingston --69.00 MB Minimum223.8 MB Max207.2 MB AverageAccess Time 0.6 ms67.7 MB Burst128GB Corsair --162.8 MB Minimum197.3 MB Max182.7 MB AverageAccess Time 0.1 ms184.4 MB BurstPretty flippin' good if you ask me! Cons: Price

Pros: dont have to defrag anymore?Fast boot
Comment:
Very nice product with reasonable price. Currently the SSDs are quite expensive which is around 200 ish. However, this Kingston has 64G for almost the half price compare to others when there is a good sales promotion.I can tell the booting is faster than b4.

Kingston SSDNow V Series Gen II 64GB 2.5IN SATA2 Solid State Disk Flash Drive
Cons: A technology in its infancy (for consumer market); expensive (obvious); small capacity (obvious);

Pros: Drop-in Compatibility with ASUS M4A87TD EVO; Boots onto Win 7 desktop within 12 seconds (longest 21 seconds); Desktop Kit comes with 3.5" bracket, SATA cable and MOLEX to SATA adapter, and software; Good O/S|Filesys drive, but purchase a larger-capacity HDD for storage of programs and games and what-not; Did not require additional firmware updating or software fo any kind; did not respond well to change from IDE to AHCI in MB's BIOS; Lightweight; Sturdy construction; Kingston Warranty.
Comment:
Owning an inexpensive SSD has proved a good experience thus far. Boots to desktop and loads my programs faster than my WD Caviar Black 640GB HDDs in RAID 0 configuration.Since this drive is not large enough to accommodate a filesystem AND programs and games and what-not, it's adviseable to plan ahead and purchase a larger-capacity drive that'll accommodate your programs and games (and maybe a backup partition too!), and to retain this SSD for your O/S filesystem.I am enjoying this entry-level SSD drive. It meets my needs for responsiveness/speed.

Comment:
Installed Win7 64-bit on this drive, it was the fastest Windows installation I've ever experienced.I found out about SSD drives about 1 week before buying this one. Price is high but I guess it will fall quickly as people start buying more. Gave 4 out of 5 stars just because of the price. I'm dreaming of a business SAN with 100's of these...

Very pleased with this purchase, renewed the life of my computer, will be looking to purchase another one for RAID down the line. While there are newer faster and better SSDs out there right now, for a budget conscious consumer such as myself looking for a improvement of loading times and general overall responsiveness this cannot be beat!-Chris

Kingston SSDNow V Series Gen II 64GB 2.5IN SATA2 Solid State Disk Flash Drive
Cons: -SSDs Still A Bit Pricey

Pros: -Fast-Applications Load Much Faster
Comment:
This is my first hands on with a SSD drive. I wanted one for my OS and some of my programs. I have seen all the hype and decided that I would give it a try. Windows 7 boots very fast. Also, most of my programs load almost instantly. Pinnacle Studio was one program that seemed to take forever to load up before. Now it's only a few seconds and I'm in. This 64GB is plenty for me, until SSD prices come down for the higher capacities. With Windows 7 and most of my programs installed I still have a lot of room left. I get a WEI of 6.8 if anyone is interested. Definitely worth the money if you want to give your system a nice speed boost.
