Value, Excellent I put this into an old 939 mb with an athlon 64 3500 with a different 512 stick of the value identical ram i purchased a year ago and it won't function in dual channel mode. I have supertalent sticks that function in dual channel just fine. dual channel isn't a major deal but nevertheless it need to operate. this machine is my overclock messaround laptop or computer that i use for bench marking and folding@home decent ram but absolutely nothing exciting

Works, speeds up pc somewhat. Quite inexpensive compared to the worth brand garbage they sell at other places. Quite fast shipping also; you got to enjoy the Egg. Not as large as an improvement as I would have wanted. Bought this for a pc at my dad's work. Not my private laptop or computer, so I have not had much time with it. But according to its day-to-day user, the boost in performance is not extremely noticeable. Almost certainly due to CPU limitations.

Works just like it need to. Had to play with memroy slots a bit (strange but it worked). Kingston modified this module because the last one I purchased. Same component number but it's got fewer ram chips on it. I believed it was dead when I first installed it in the second slot on my Foxconn MoBo. Program hung on POST. I popped out the older module (same portion number) and put the new module in the initially slot then put the old module in the second slot and it worked fine. Moral of the story, attempt all slots just before assuming your new ram stick is dead or incompatible.

I purchased this ram to use as a set of test ram for any computer that I work on. It runs at its rated DDR400 speed plus it can run at timings of two-three-three-6 at 2.6volts. It in no way appears to get hot. I have by no means had any memory errors even though using this stick either. It's only 512MB's. This is Simple RAM that just works, and permits for minor overclocking. None I have this installed in an ECS KN1-Lite motherboard. Works fine at 420 Mhz DDR (slightly overclocked). Have not tried any greater.

The ram slot became loose and fried the board now I have to up grade the whole mombo. Intel is a con. I never have a challenge with amd boards like biostar.
