Perform appropriate out of the box. No BIOS update needed. Run at the appropriate speed. My Pc saw them from the get go... Post to BIOS was good. Cheap, great if you are broke and don't will need some high performance stuff. I like Kingston. In no way had a challenge with them. None what so ever. Not certain if memory or Mobo - initial installed in the 2 empty slots and PC would not even go into BIOS setup. The price is excellent - it ought to be for older, somewhat outdated memory These modules did not jive with my existing RAM - I had two 1ǘ gig modules (Model KVR400X64C3A릘) and bought this to double my memory. Even although it's the exact same speed (DDR 400), similar Cas Latency (CL3), and identical timing Ɠ-three-three), I couldn't get these and my existing to perform together. When I ran these on their own, they worked fine. I went ahead and bought the Exact model - hopefully these will function.

One of the two sticks worked. Unfortunatly one stick of the memory is messed up. It triggered severe instabililty in any machine I installed it in. If you get this product and you computer begins to blue screen and act all about strange make an attempt to return it. I thought it was just the a Dell showing its age and neglect by the user and by the time I pin-pointed the issue to one of the sticks, the 90 days was up.

Bought this RAM to upgrade from 512 MB so I could play World of Warcraft much more smoothly. Along with other performance problems my PC was having. Installing this was a breeze, easy and quickly. I have pretty much never opened a personal computer case prior to. It's already worked wonders for my frames per second and general performance all around. And all for ี shipped!My assistance to everyone getting this is to read up carefully on how to install if you're not an expert, there's a lot of smaller detail that goes into it. But it's very easily completed oneself, don't pay massive amounts for memory at a retailer or hire a person to do it! It's cheap at Newegg and simply accomplished yourself! The only thing I can feel of is that some program load times take longer when you first restart the PC following installing the new memory. WoW loaded up really slow the 1st time it truly worried me for a bit. Then as soon as in the game it was really choppy and my stomach sank that I'd bought some thing poor. But then right after a program reboot, the load time improved a little and the game ran smoother than ever. Immediately after the next reboot, all programs loaded up and shut down quicker then ever, with the method recovering considerably faster when it used to believe for a long time. Each and every subsequent reboot has yielded faster outcomes, to the point where I'm very pleased I spent this money! Newegg was suggested by a friend of mine.
