Extremely cost-effectiveNice blue or white LEDs.Semi-modular Wish there have been more separate connectors, rather of latching for instance four SATA power cables onto a single modular energy cable. Also dislike the removable pins for the pci-e as they can look dumb when you only want six-pins. Hasn't broken however...Only semi-modular.

It looks quite. Matches my white light themed case. It performs for now. A great idea, but poorly created. This power supply is "modular" in the loosest sense of the term. The energy supply comes with a mess of cables difficult wired into it The video card cables are not modular. Positive, they have some modular SATA and video card cables in-case you need to run four-way SLI or run a server setup with 10 really hard drives. The PSU comes with hardwired nvidia and ATI cables. So unless you are operating some Nvidia/ATi sli/xfire maddness you are going to have at least one additional set of cables. Not to mention the cable design itself is horrible. For some reason the fixed cables are developed differently than the modular cables. The cables for ATi cards are wired in such a way they they do not fit into the ports on my card, the connectors are way to close collectively. Fortunately, the modular cables are made adequately so I could at least plug my video card in. I am not very satisfied about having an added set of ATI cables stuck to my "modular" energy supply. The further sata/nvidia cables are negative enough. For a tiny additional income you can get a true modular power provide. Lets face it, if you are interested in the fairly lights, then you are most likely interested in how the rest of your case looks. This "modular" energy supply proved to be a disappointment. That stated it does perform, and is quite cheap for 1000watts. If you don't have a window on your case it would function fine.

Liked the modular. This recieved great independant evaluations confirming that it is "as advertised" for overall performance and wattage. Not 100% modular-20-pin, 6-pin, and eight-pin on 1 rail. A breakdown of the rails and configuration are NON-existant. Necessary to go elsewhere to locate it. Wish the anchor screws have been in all four corners, not with 1 off-set, for my case.Cables a bit stiff. My drives lay accross the chasis so the space is tight with the sides up. I needed to order (at the exact same time) Sata power extentions that have been at proper angles. Did the trick but just lengths I'd like to do with no. NewEgg Situation: Initially time a bit diappointed. Originally ordered the LGZ-1000 (or LZG) (Gold Series) with a large discount but necessary to cancel the order (to get the correct sata extentions). I could not immediately reorder the same item with that discount applied for an unknown explanation. Emailed support but they got back to me also late ྸ+ hrs or more) and I needed to order a unit as mine was about to die.

This point just looks remarkable in my case. The cables couldn't be easier to plug in because they're all uniform. Just an great power supplly. Satisfied I bought it The 1 issue I ran into, which is why I took 1 egg off, is the SATA connectors would just not fit in my case due to their inability to bend down or up without wanting to snap. I had to use two diverse cords to plug in two diverse Hard Drives mainly because only the final connector in that series of cord is flexible enough. They need to have to remake one of these cords with some 90 degree angles. So even if you have an enormous complete tower case like me, BEWARE if your Challenging Drive bays are facing the side panel! I'm hungry

A solid PSU that can deal with an OC 920 i7, three 5870s and four HDs in RAID ten devoid of sounding like an airplane engine. Voltages can deviate a little bit from the norm but are all nicely within protected parameters. Additional advantage: It looks remarkable if you have a blue theme going on in your case. Mine came with undesirable capacitors that had been creating a really loud high pitched noise when power was supplied to it (even when the Computer was off). Guess I just got a poor unit. Also the LAZER sticker on the side is a bit cheesy.

It looks like it would be a good Power Supply. It has lots a cable selections. It was DOA, I didn't test it before I built my computer and right after obtaining it all situated it didn't function. Now i have to pay around ฟ to ship it back and wait until they send me a new 1 till i can use my new laptop or computer, assuming the new one particular works... I'm positive this is not typical I am just bummed that I have to wait to get a new one particular.

Modular. That's quite considerably the greatest. You only need to have to plug in what you are essentially working with, making cable management no difficulty. Plus at 1000W it can deal with anything you throw at it, no want to worry about being able to handle SLI. It's quite heavy, even though that's to be expected.. NewEgg won't let me put (F T W) in the title... odd.

Purchased a unit about 200W bigger than I necessary. I chose this a single based on price tag and evaluations. I have not applied Kingwin prior to. So far so good. The fan in the energy suppy is quieter than I anticipated compared to other energy supplys I personal. The modular cables are good - there are no added cables in the box. Good concept!!!! none If this lasts to my subsequent construct Kingwin will be at the top rated of my list. NewEgg is excellent - rapidly shipping and box arrived in great shape too.

the value for a 1000w, most psu's at 1000w are far more than 赨modular cables and it don't matter witch port you plug them in to. *accept for key power* 2 changeable led lights or off if you don't want them on. from what i fully grasp this psu does not have strong state caps. cooling fan could run a tiny faster to cool superior. acquiring a little tired of newegg not posting my assessment's 1st one had a video and was not posted. this one better be or im gona begin poor mouthing newegg. and yes i am legally permitted to do that. if newegg thinks poor testimonials kill sales then stop letting people give feed back. but any way this psu is rated with 6 იv rails at 80amps properly the numbers in the book and on the psu show 20,20,20,20,35,35. 4 rails rated at 20a and 2 at 35 effectively that's 150 amps not 80. do the math or this is a falsely advertised solution?

Really very good modular style, aids with cable management. It performs well, and the alternative for blue, white, or no LED's is a big plus. 1000W = futureproof. Has a lot more than sufficient cables! The non-modular cables are too short. I can't route them correctly simply because the PSU is mounted on the bottom of my case. This is one particular gorgeous energy provide. Cables are sheathed, modular--at least insofar as the "extra" cables are concerned. The ones that are pretty undoubtedly needed to any computer are attached. With wattage this higher, I don't ever have to wonder if I'll have sufficient energy for what I'm trying to do. Honestly I possibly didn't Need this monstrous a PSU. Also it causes every person to quote Dr. Evil all the time. ("Lazer.")

Extremely Efficient PSU, Looks amazing and performs just as well! LED Fan/Mod plugs are georgous, very effectively completed! Some of the cabling was really stiff, even a single of the modular plugs was extrememly stiff. But hey, Ill take tight/stiff more than loose any day :) Over all - really impressed, I have only had it for a couple weeks but its been running for a very good component of the two weeks. Sturdy, gorgeous and seems trustworthy therefore farŏǛ eggs

Wish it had a red LED choice, due to the fact the front fan LED on my HAF X case is red and so is my GSKILL RAM.

A extremely effectively made PSU, with quite a few extra cables included! It looks wonderful, it comes in black, and it has multi-LED options. It has a fantastic fan, and the cables are quite flexible for how tight they look. A substantial PSU!!!! Beware if you have a smaller or regular sized case. I actually can't fit mine inside, so its outside of my tower for now. Also, the rubber about the guidelines of every single cable supply little flexibility if it requires turned. I wish this fit in my case!!

A effectively-built, universal-modular-cable power supply with a Large fan on top rated to move a lot of air. All cables are braided to preserve air turbulance to a minimal inside the case. Sufficient PCI-Express power cables to power three high-end graphics cards Ɠx 6-pin + 3x 6ư-pin) when completely cabled. None. If anything, this is overkill for most systems. Read why I say this below. This is my make: MSI Major Bang Trinergy Intel Core i7 Quad 2.eight GHz 16GB G.Skill DDR3 1600 PC3-12000 eVGA NVidia GeForce GTX 480 Inventive Labs Sound Blaster Fatality Platinum PCI-E Western Digital Black 1TB 7200 RPM SATA 3.Even with the blue LED keyboard, wireless mouse, headset, 7.1 speakers, 23" LED-LCD Samsung monitor 񢈀x1080), blue LED fans (x5 120mm, x1 200mm), I nonetheless pull only: 280 WATTS. Yes, that's not a typo. Even playing games at full rates, I only pull about 300 watts 鳪 idle). Pc advertisers overestimate the power consumption a bit as a security precaution. The video card makes use of a 6- and an 8-pin power cable, so it's "supposed" to suck down a bunch, but doesn't.I utilized an APC 765watt UPS to diagnose the wattage utilised.

Adore this PSU! Its got an enormous amount of power, solid construction, and fascinating style. Teh clear modular connectors are such a cool and simple way to light up the case that I'm baffled its almost exclusive to Kingwin. Getting an 80+ PSU is effectively worth the expense- I don't know exactly what efficiency it is pumping out, but it is drawing about 20% much less power from the wall than my last PSU, which suggests it will likely come close to paying for itself more than its lifetime. Its a thoughtful, quiet unit that any person will be happy with. Wish it was 100% modular- the 20Ʋ connector and a thing else (not at my tower now) have the standard octopus attachments, but the cables are the ideal length that it doesn't bother me. This is such a wonderful firm and unit. Haven't heard of them as well significantly but I am extremely thankful for the other detailed reviews that convinced me to try this excellent unit out instead of falling back on the much more expensive corsairs. you won't be disappointed!
