The windows 7 installer (64 bit) ask me for drivers to use it during the install. Manufacturers has none listed on their website. As it's the only thing preventing me to use my new computer, I'm not really happy.It's the first time I see a disc drive as finicky as this one! |

Good basic DVD burner. No frills and no surprises. DVD burners are so cheap these days and there is little difference between brands. Catch any brand on weekly sale is the best idea if you're looking to replace a dead one. |

works well, installed it and it shows up under My Computer, im using some third-party software to write dvds, write speed is good, not the fastest but gets the job done
