Sleek appear, good space, even although it's tiny there is a lot of cable routing space. Match it with a excellent modular energy provide and you can make a seriously clean SFF Pc. Also 6 bays for HD (Ư 2.five" bay underneath ODD) which tends to make it a great decision for media center Pc's No motherboard tray. Tray is essentially the appropriate side of the case. I chose this for a SFF gaming rig and I'm glad I did. It fits video cards up to 11.eight" in length, and has lots of area for higher good quality elements. I place a Corsair H70 in as my CPU cooler which, due to it's height, I had to mount the fan on top rated of the case as an alternative of inside. It doesn't bother me, but some people might not like this.

SFFCoolingSpace for six HDD's OverpricedNo fan controller – ITX boards have one particular system fan header. If you hook one particular fan straight to the PS, it’ll run at complete speed all the time. As well loud for an HTPC or WHS build, imo. A ů Zalman controller stuffed inside the case will resolve this. Either way, I'd at least anticipate a three-speed inline switch for 贡.ODD slot only – This case would be a far better solution if it had one additional front slot. Then you could stick a fan controller in there, or a card reader as a previous poster wanted to do.Blue LED fan and energy button lights - Nail polish or wire cutters resolve this issue. The energy button is quite vibrant. You get the concept that this case doesn’t truly know what it desires to be. Is it a good-hunting SFF gaming case with blue LEDs, but effortlessly scratched surface? A WHS case that you can stuff 6 HDDs in? Or an HTPC case that you’d place an SSD in to hold temps down so you could disconnect the front fan so you don’t have to deal with the blue LED or noise from a complete speed fa Overall, I like the layout of this case. Factors fit. The cooling is great and you can stick a lot of HDD's in there. It was a enjoyable make. But with the shortcomings I've talked about, I've spent as well considerably. This is an ๩ case. No more. Now I know. *The three eggs rating is for the higher price tag, plus the items that I have to do, and buy, to make this 贡 case acceptable for my use. For what it's worth, I personal two other Lian Li instances and they are just great. The Pc-Q08B desires a bit a lot more interest to detail and usability before I can say the exact same for it.

Tiny, nicely produced, good looking and in a position to hold a ton of technologies! When anything is in and tied down, it is truly really hard to get at the motherboard unless you access it from the back (which is challenging to do if you have a full-sized video card installed). In other words, test each item Prior to you put it in the case. It sucks having to pull it apart to commence a build troubleshoot. Also a lot space was reserved for the optical drive and the suspension of the challenging disks depends upon the optical drive bay structure. Tends to make it not possible to remove if not being employed.

The case is created to very good strong aluminum and relatively sturdy. There are six screws on every single side of the panel. Too many for my taste, a greater design would have been to use some kind of clip on style side panels a that makes use of one particular or two thumb screws to the back of the case, sort like the Dells.Granted this is an ITX case, but oh boy, is the space inside tight. You will need severe cable management for this case, there's not significantly area to manuver. Get beware. I defintely would not buy this case again, side panel style is not up to par

Purchased this for a fileserver and it is functioning out fantastic. Higher excellent with lots of space for the drives. Light weight and stunning situation. Lots of screws to work with. six on case and four on decrease drive bay. This is 1 of the handful of mini-itx circumstances with area for so several drives. It is my 2nd Lian Li case and I've been quite satisfied with them each.

The workmanship is exceptional! The price is affordable for the quality. Effectively ventilated despite the tightness of the p/s. Tight! I purchased a modular p/s and it is nonetheless tight. It would have been fine had the case been an inch longer. Two screws that hold the best tray had been tight and one particular stripped slightly. USB cable is thick, stiff and as well long. Due to the fact of the tightness, I doubt something other than a low-profile fan would operate. Fortunately I had one. It is standard for mini-itx circumstances to be tight. The case is already pretty big (for an mini-itx case), so I feel they could have gotten away with producing it a little longer. My p/s power cable is crammed up against the hd tray. I guess I require to search for a shorter p/s. I may possibly go with a picopsu or some thing comparable. I identified the trick with the screws only soon after slightly stripping 1. If the screw is also tight, rock it back and forth lightly. Don't twist left with everything you got. When I rocked it back and forth, I heard it break loose and then it twisted with out stripping it. The upper bay gave me the hardest time. Be sure and do the CD/DVD very first. Don't bother hooking anything up until you get it carried out. I was a tiny confused on which screws to use with the upper bay. They had a pair that worked excellent, but I needed 4, not two. Not confident if I was shorted.

It fits every little thing in it, and has a entirely ridiculous quantity of 3.5" drive bays for a mATX case. Make confident you have a modular power supply or at least know that the cables coming out of the energy supply will not extend two or far more inches beyond the power supply when routing your cables, or else the energy provide cables will end up interfering with the drive cages. Also, I'm not a massive fan of how the power provide has to be installed, via the back of the case. A removable motherboard tray would be wonderful as well, thinking of you have to take the power supply out to do anything on the motherboard, which is kinda irritating.

This situation is quite good seeking and not as well big. It can hold 6 tricky drives and a total size optical drive as properly as four HDDs and a complete size graphics card and PSU. There is an included HDD assistance bracket if you select to use a significant vid card. USB three. on the front with an adapter to use it as two. for now. Quiet fans with decent airflow. Not a lot of room when you put every thing in. The full size PSU gets in the way somewhat. The screws on each and every side are annoying, but not truly horrible. I am employing this as an ITX property server chassis. I will soon have 4 x two tb drives which will leave me a lot of storage. This box is quiet and cool even with 5 of 6 HDD slots full and with a passive heatsink on my video card. Wonderful situation.

great and wide, holds all the devices, cables, and boards I want. effectively built from all I can tell. I cant think of any at this point. Well, the CD cover in the front was a bit broken, but I bought it to use as a server case (small residence server) so I didn't care about the CD cover, I wasn't employing it. I may well ask them for a replacement, but I dont know yet. nice case. was wider than I expected, which created the mounting of disks simpler than I expected...

- Great create top quality- 6x3.5" bays, 1x5.25" bay and 1x2.5" bay (the manual says you can fit 1 under the CD-ROM)- All drive cages are removable and the lower drive cage can be swapped to fit a complete size graphics card- Extremely properly ventilated and comes with quiet fans - The case is a mixture of thumb screws and screws that want a screwdriver. Far more obnoxious still is that you need to have to use a screwdriver to eliminate the six (yes, 6) side panel screws to open the situation. It's not doable to leave the case in "easy access mode" (completely unscrewed) since the side panel is only held to situation by the screws.- The blue front fan is slightly annoying but, it looks like it can be very effortlessly replaced. The fan enclosure quickly slides out of the case. With the exception of the crazy number of screws that need to be removed to eliminate each side panel, this is a excellent case. You can cram a massive number of disks into this modest situation and, even though space is tight, the ventilation with the stock fans is excellent adequate that your disks will keep cool. If you require anything a bit larger than "standard sized" Mini-ITX situations, this is effectively worth the funds.

So for a initially create, it kinda sucked. But immediately after finding the lay of this situation, it was pretty uncomplicated. It's good seeking, plus I replaced that dinky blue led fan with a white led fan and this thing looks great. CABLE MANAGEMENT! - it sucks, huge time. Make sure you have a lot of zip ties. Also, make positive you get a modular PSU. I got the corsair hx650w and it JUST fits. It also leaves smudge marks so be careful with her. To those purchasing: actually analysis this situation. You can have many configs, from water cooling to the corsair h50, the possibilities are endless. When I get mine back (had to RMA since the drive bays had been missing from my package ɢ) I'm going to set this up with an h50 in a push/pull config attached to the front 140mm fan that's been replaced with a noctua 140mm. Overall, good case!

Lots of Internal Drive Bays Ɩ). Exceptional cooling capacity. Pretty roomy inside taking into consideration (though it crowds up soon after you slip in the PSU); Incredibly clean lines, solid construction. Fit and finish are best notch - the anodizing on this situation is quite nicely completed. The Internal USB three. Cables had been way also extended, and are extremely bulky. Wiring for the motherboard front panel connections was also a little on the longish side (could have been 3"ኧmm shorter and nonetheless reached everywhere on a Mini-ITX board). I would have expected PWM Cooling fans on a case of this top quality. Maybe the next-gen cases will use them. This situation begs for a top quality modular power provide; plan your PSU purchase accordingly and you will be rewarded with a extremely neat installation. The Audio cabling connections were best length, owing to the fact that most motherboards put the FP connection for the Audio in the reduce left corner of the motherboard.

Massive enough to fit decent size video cards ྫ.810"). All the components remain cool with each fans ( GTX 460 idles at 27c and loads at 40c). Capable to fit aftermarket coolers for a alter (About four.25" of clearance among stock fan and PSU). Fits a Corsair H50 with little adjustment. The tiny screws utilised are why I knocked off 2 eggs. Some came out, but they welded the optical drive bay (over tightened). As usual, it stripped and I had to drill them out and countersink for rivets to fit flush. If the DVD drive goes negative, its going to be a hassle all more than again. I believed high good quality meant ease of access as nicely. I would get this once again, but hopefully this problem does not.

Ok, initially off... I can\'t say sufficient very good factors about this case. I've owned Lian Li just before and knew of their quiality, but this just blows it away. The fit and finish is excellent. The fans are dead silent. No vibrations. Every thing assembles with a perfect fit. No bending, modding, drilling expected here. Super light weight (or it was... see other thoughts). This factor has much more room for storage than most know what to do with. It has a complete size five.25" optical bay with a nicely working flip door, 6 (that's proper, SIX) three.5" HDD bays, and just to top it off, a 2.five" HDD bay. If you're counting, that's SEVEN challenging drives and full optical drive in a miniDTX box. Energy LED brighter than my LED flashlight. I originally purchased this mainly because it was the only miniDTX situation I could uncover, and when I received it I was happy I did. Originally intended to use this as a cool seeking HTPC box, but immediately after seeing the expandability, it's now an HTPC/NAS. I've got it loaded with a BD-ROM in the best, a 15000 rpm SAS three.five" boot drive, six 5400 rpm SATAII three.5" 2TB hdds (one extra fits nicely at the bottom of the case with a single screw by means of the grill and some double sided tape), a two.5" 1TB drive for frequent network backup, with each other with a dual core processor and a HD5550 video card. Even with all that stuff crammed in there... airflow is excellent. Inside temps under no circumstances go above 40C at complete load. Idle at 22C.

Quite nicely engineered situation and the brushed black aluminum outer shell is just wonderful. I used this to develop my HTPC and it's a bit tight on the set up of the elements but everything went collectively excellent. None really, but a bit tricky to get the Blue Ray player installed with the front panel . Some of the other evaluations mention the small case screws as a difficulty, but I didn't come across this to be true. Just use a little phillips head driver and you're excellent. I highly advocate this situation, the case fans genuinely keeps the internal temp down and you can inform this is a excellent item. It's a bit more high-priced than a lot of, but well worth the expense in my opinion.

Very seldom do you see such a size efficient case, with excellent airflow and minimal fans. There is clearly a high level of create good quality (with 1 exception) and incredibly modular. Which is useful each in the initial create and in upgrading. Be cautious when choosing a power provide for the case, as 140mm power supplies are about the longest that will fit comfortably in the case. I am saying this as Newegg is at present providing a PS that wouldn't fit in a combo with the case. Mine came with a broken five.25 tray cover. Newegg would have happily let me return it, but the hassle of shipment wasn't worth it to me when I could get rid of the complete cover with a screw driver, enabling the drive to be flush with the front panel.I am still attempting to get Lian Li's distributor to make a RMA for just the five.25 tray cover but they nonetheless haven't gotten back with me soon after two weeks. Which is certainly not comforting. This becoming particularly heartbreaking soon after being genuinely impressed by this situation's engineering and manufacturing quality.

- Very good fit and finish. Seems like a nicely believed out case.- Heavy (duty) metal.- Exceptional ventilation.- TONS of space for an ITX situation.- "It just functions" - If you plan on taking the situation apart typically, the side panels are "attached" on with 6 tiny screws. It would be a discomfort to tear it down generally.- LED fan on front panel (I removed the fan, so no worries. Also, the leads for the LEDs would be very simple to snip/cut).- Cable Mgt? What's that? (not genuinely on my list of issues, but it perhaps for some) I'm running a ASUS AT3IONT-I MB with 4-1 TB WD HDDs and a SeaSonic SS-300ET Bronze 300W Bronze ATX power supply. Every thing fits perfectly. Makes a neat and tidy package for a residence file server. Running with out the front intake fan and no CPU fan, I have yet to have the CPU temp above 50ºC (usually around 45ºC) and HDD temps steady at 35-36ºC. The exhaust fan runs about 1328 RPM and is a lot quiet (no sensors on the PS fan, but it's quiet as nicely). Don't notice any noise from the HDD's vibrating.I didn't notice any sharp edges when I started assembling the technique (I usually appear for the obvious spots that will cut me, as I tend to be accident prone). But, the couple little cuts present when I was finished clearly indicate my initial assessment was incorrect. I wouldn't make this a con, just an observation. Each and every metal personal computer case has sharp edges, some just much worse then other people. This is a single of the far better.Effectively worth the income, IMO. Will obtain Lian Li again.

Fantastic make quality I would have expected from Lian-Li. The situation has lots of space for a custom builder looking to do a LAN situation or for the house/business to construct a solid NAS. The reversable power supply mount assisted expand the limitations of the power supply possibilities. A standard ATX PSU will fit devoid of troubles, the bigger selections though may well be a tight fit. For those that need to have a lot more room more than the PSU region, use a PS3 form aspect instead of the ATX form element. The PS3 form aspect utilizes a 30% shorter case. You will pay the cost for the smaller size, and the choices are limited in manufacturers. The edging of the situation is really properly completed, there was no sharp corners or rough edges at all (something you come to count on from the Lian-Li construct excellent). Lots of space to operate with. Added cage stand included for distinct graphics options. One particular distinct piece I do not like about the case is the modest screws employed on the case sides. The way the situation is built, typical situation screws could have been applied with a really basic hook type mechanizm on the front, leading, and bottom with the back portion of the panel held in spot with two situation screws each and every. The existing case screws are smaller and can effortlessly be lost.I would have liked the situation even more without the blue glowing fan, I have a 140 replacement picked out currently. There is no cable management at all. Conserve a single latch for a cable bundle. Organizing cable management would be a sensible move prior to getting. Most of the cables for the front panel of the situation are as well long. Much more cable ties are a must have, as effectively as a bit additional cable management The program I place together in this case has been built with FreeNAS. Booting off a single 2GB flash drive and 4 drives in a raid array. The silencing grommets enable eleminate much of the noise making this case a incredibly quiet system. I opted to create with a fanless Atom board and have not had any difficulties with heat, even with the fans off. CPU load is at 12% (software raid thoughts you) and the processor does not go more than 42 degrees celsius. Only the tough drives are barely audible.1 aspect I located, because I built this system as a NAS, a CD/DVD drive was not needed. The I utilised the optical drive bay as a space for added cable management. This has worked very effectively.Albeit this situation has numerous tiny shortcomings to make this seriously pop five eggs, I'd advise it for confident to anyone who is searching to construct a smaller LAN dedicated program. Throw a brushed aluminum deal with on the prime and you have the workings for a fantastic devoted modest gamer case.

Looks really slick. Intake fan is major and fairly silent. Very great layout for such a tiny case The screws holding the side panels together are tiny and strip effortlessly. They had been Extremely hard to remove. Ought to use a quality screw driver and go slowly. WHY 6 tiny quickly striped screws??? two thumbscrews on the back edge would have better! Such nonsense. Good looks, intelligent spacial style, fits a full ATX PSU, six sata bays. For some areas, aluminum is just as well soft a metal. Immediately after unscrewing & screwing the side panel about 6-7 times to get into the box, the threading on two of the screw holes has fully worn away and the other 4 are on their way out swiftly. I'll need to have to discover some slightly larger ones to make sure the panel stays in place. Treat em quite quite gingerly! *The rating has nothing to do with the product. This is a comment about Newegg's packaging policy. n/a This case was delivered in its original box, with no extra packaging or protection from Newegg’s shipping division. That could have been OK due to the fact the item seemed well-protected by its own packaging, but there was no packing tape sealing the box itself. That, to my way of thinking, is cutting 1 corner also numerous. Anybody could have simply, very easily opened that box. I did. How would I know if anybody did or didn't? Ridiculous!Newegg, I know you are listening. This is not acceptable. You can afford the 1 cent it costs to slap a small packing tape more than the ends. I’d sure appreciate it if you did.
