LOGISYS Computer CS301BK Black Computer Case
Comment:
The case has a nice layout and style. Plenty of room for most something you want to install. Power provide is sort of affordable but consider the value. Also my case arrived missing the screw set, power cable and case fan. Don't actually need to have the final two but really do require the screw set so I can truly install the mobo.E-mailed Newegg, waiting to see if they will replace the screws! Adore Newegg. This complete order arrived the day soon after I ordered it.

Comment:
Fantastic looking, lightweight case. four front-side USB ports. Roomy. Comes with 80mm fan, and low-finish power supply, adequate for a wife or parent build. Steel is extremely thin. To those who've said it is durably constructed, I feel perhaps you've not worked on a fantastic case prior to.One particular stand off screw-hole was fabricated at an angle, and so with hardly any torque at all, was stripped. Plastic power button was located at the bottom of the box, broken. Simply glued back together, and working ok. No area to mount air intake at the front of the case. General, for the price, it is not a negative case. I've surely paid far more for worse. I don't know how long I count on the power provide to function, but it's been a week, and it's carrying out just fine so far.

LOGISYS Computer CS301BK Black Computer Case
Cons:I/O shield difficult to remove, not enough standoff screws for ATX motherboard, PSU lacking 6-pin GPU power connectors, rear fan is loud, no intake filters

Pros:great price for a case w/ a PSU, perfect for a budget with mATX, light weight, sturdy, looks nice
Comment:
This is a great case for the price, especially considering it has a PSU installed and I would definitely purchase again for another budget build using another mATX board. There are only 6 standoff screws supplied (enough for mATX) which isn't enough for an ATX motherboard (uses 9). This case cost less than smaller cases that are meant for mATX boards. It's unfortunate that they didn't bother to make the rear fan space fit for 120mm fans, because the case is certainly wide enough and they really aren't significantly more expensive than their loud 90mm fan.I added a 120mm front fan without much difficulty and the case wasn't very difficult to build in except for removing the crappy I/O shield, which needs to be snapped/ripped off and leaves behind metal burrs at the contact points that get in the way of inserting the proper motherboard's I/O shield. There's enough room at the back behind the hard drive cage to stuff a few cables and with twist ties or cable ties you can create  a clean and clutter-free looking build.

USB's on top for those who preserve their tower on the floor...Cheap...Comes with low cost energy provide... Low cost...Comes with low cost energy supply... Too low-cost... 330 watt psu about burned on prime95 test, and the treads were tapped too large on some of the spots for the motherboard risers?

Comment:
Clean, simple, and appealing design. The case is light and sturdy with no sharp edges. Fits my old Soyo P4VDA perfectly and the IO panel lines up nice. It came with a fan and a power supply. All in all it was a excellent deal. It could have been packaged greater. I received mine with all the pegs that hold the plastic face plate to the case sheared off. The bottom of the face plate was shattered. The power provide was hanging in the case at an awkward angle, the bracket that hold it in location was bent down. While Newegg would send me a new 1 if I RMA it I would have to spend shipping and wait another week for it. So a couple of dollars on some plastic modeling glue and 45 minutes of my time fixed it right up. The power provide bracket effortlessly bent back up. Since my case sits on the floor you cant' tell that the bottom of the face plate was glued back together.

- Very Solid construction- Several Drive Bays- Thumb Screws- A lot of Front Ports- Inexpensive cost with High High quality - Screws on the power supply weren't totally tightened. Not a massive deal, created it easier to get rid of! Didn't use the included power supply. Used a ฮ 460watt name brand PSU from Newegg. It IS a 480watt power provide. Most power supplies are advertised at their peak output. It is a 330watt continuous according to the label.I was fully surprised by this case. It has actually thick steel that is not at all flimsy. All the edges are rolled nicely. This has a incredibly nice thick coating of paint on the outside, bottom, and inside of the sides! Good feet, all the screw holes line up, really good drive cages and the front plastic is nicely textured and of good quality.

Comment:
Got this case as portion of a combo pack, it does almost everything that I wanted it to do. A little flimsy on the materials but what do you expect for that value. This is a excellent case for somebody that is on a budget and does not want a massive steel trap with all the fixings. Method is a little weak on airflow but adding a 80mm fan on the side vent has made all the distinction.

I use this case for a Pentium 4 build with XP. It is nice enough for this use, but the jammed reset button had me going nuts for a few hours trying to troubleshoot a dead system.

LOGISYS Computer CS301BK Black Computer Case
Comment:
Case is good for what I payed for it. Brought on no shorts to any of the electrical components. Didn't test the power provide, I'm intelligent enough not to trust such a low end PSU to my hardware. Put in a identified very good PSU and works like a charm. One of the MoBo mounting holes was improperly seated. Took a lot of force to secure a screw into it. I'm lucky that I didn't scrape the board in the method.Front panel isn't HD, so I had to configure the front panel for AC ྜྷ. On a case this affordable, I wasn't shocked. If you require a low cost case for an affordable construct, this is it. I suppose I was fortunate to receive a superior 1 (one that didn't have broken parts). From the other critiques, it looks as although other people weren't so fortunate. But hey, buying on the net is usually a risk.

Low cost This is the worst case I have ever ordered and I have built about 500 systems over the years. It was missing rivets and the power button totally gone! The whole thing fell apart when I took it out of the box.

Comment:
Lightweight, extra sturdy (if withstands the hellish beatdown of my 9 month old. That's sturdy.) Nice placement of 4 front USBs plus Audio is awesome. Nice blue light for the power button was impressive.Power supply comes with two Sata connectors (Thank you Logisys for realizing it's 2011!) so many of these affordable instances that come with power supplies have only 1. Only comes with sufficient standoffs for a micro ATX mobo. Not a dilemma for me given that a micro ATX was going in but a full ATX mobo buyer may well be disappointed. -1 egg. Put a side panel window on this puppy with a LED light fan and I could have over looked the lacking number of standoffs.

LOGISYS Computer CS301BK Black Computer Case
Cons:Feels Cheap, Included Power Supply Not The Best

Pros:Looks Very Good, Easy Installation Of Hardware
Comment:
While this is my first use of this case in a budget build for a customer, I would use it again though. It looks awesome and it is fairly solid once you get hardware installed, before installing anything it will feel quite flimsy, but firms up nice when your done. The included power supply is a bit on the noisy side, but it does it's job (I mean come on it was included in the case) and I got it for $35I didn't have any problems with the mainboard stand-offs like everyone has been complaining about. Though the screw holes for attaching the side panels, I had one that was stripped, a little bit of thread locker fixed it right up =)

Cons: Sort of thin metal frame/buildMinimal cable management options

Pros: 4 usbspretty blue led power buttontool-less side panel
Comment:
I was surprised at how light the case felt, but I guess at this price, you couldn't ask for more. The case comes with a rear 80mm molex-only fan (not 3/4pin). The PSU consists of a 20/24pin, cpu 4pin, 2 sata, floppy, and 4 molex.Overall, I really do like this case. Although the PSU's cables seem a bit on the short side (especially the two sata power), you can't really expect much more from a stock power supply. I also really liked the fact that the case comes with four usb's instead of only two, and it being on the top is also much more visible and reachable than being on the bottom of a case.

Cons:Light weight, noisy exhaust fan, no CPU cooling tube, stupid Stupid STUPID slot covers (see below)

Pros:Low cost, Black, Front USB (4), reset button, Includes PS, rather homely and cheap looking
Comment:
Needed to build a cheap server. This thing is not ugly but it does not make a fashion statement.Once the MB is installed, you cannot break out the exp. slot covers. Remember to break them out and install space covers (NOT included) that hopefully you have lying around. I always throw out a bunch just before I need them. But hey, the PS has been running now for 4 months non-stop.

LOGISYS Computer CS301BK Black Computer Case
Cons:Power supply - it is really only a 330W PSU, with SHORT cables. I would not use the PSU for anything but the lowest power builds.

Pros:Cheap, can get it around $30. Looks good enough.
Comment:
PSU is "max output 480W, Total Power 330W" Only 16A 12v, very short cables, Includes 1 80mm fan in the rear. You get what you pay for, for sure! If you can get it for $30, 4 stars - if not, 3 stars.

I like the case very much. It looks way better than the picture. The side doors fit way better than more expensive units I purchased here 4 years ago. Slides effortlessly and the end screws threaded easily. Will use this PSU untill I get the system running and go upgrade it.

LOGISYS Computer CS301BK Black Computer Case
Cons:Cheap case, light gauge metal, cheap power supply.

Pros:Very inexpensive.Comes with power supply.Decent looking
Comment:
I was looking for a cheap case to build a budget computer with, and this one was on sale during the weekly special.I love the connectors for the 4 front USB ports, and the fact it cost less than a cheap power supply would cost locally.I'm running an Intel Pentium E5200, 1 DVD drive, 1 HDD, and a Radeon 3650 video card, and the case fan that came with the case, so I'm not worried about putting too much stress on the power supply. The case is better looking than I expected. It has a small dent on the side panel, but it is on the bottom, near the back. The box was fine, so it likely came from the factory like this.I would purchase this again for an inexpensive system with lower power requirements.I am comfortable using an inexpensive case, therefore inexpensive power supply. That being said, I recommend anybody looking at this case thinking they are getting a 480W power supply in the same class as more expensive power supply, it would be a mistake. If you plan on running a higher end CPU or video card, or several drives etc, don't cheap out, spend more money on a better power supply now or take a chance on regretting it later.I almost forgot. I wanted to hook this system up to a CRT monitor for testing, but couldn't get the DVI to VGA adapter to fit. There wasn't enough clearance between the add on video cards DVI port and the case. I don't blame this on the video card as the port is dead center on the card. The adapter has a flange that sticks out a bit, but I see this on most adapters. Thankfully the DVI cable that came with the LCD monitor it is being used on fit (barely). Otherwise I would have been stuck using the onboard video, which was never the plan. The high rating takes into account the price. This review was modfied by poster @ 11-20-09 10:03 PM

LOGISYS Computer CS301BK Black Computer Case
Cons:- Front audio port doesn't work properly

Pros:- Amazing price for a case with PSU
Comment:
This is actually quite a good case with a PSU for $42!! I mean, can you really go any cheaper than this? Hardly. With this case/psu and a cheap mobo/cpu bundle you can build a half-decent desktop for under $200, which is pretty amazing. This case was a breeze to work with - I was surprised by that, considering the price. My only issue - the front audio port is not positioned correctly, so when you insert  the audio jack all the way in, only one speaker works. In order to get both spekers working you have to insert  it only half-way in. Definitely not a deal-breaker but kinda annoying.
