Works fine, not as well shabby high quality smart. Wasnt wowed by good quality but for a 1.99 i wasnt expecting to be. Utilized this to energy a Zalman gpu fan on a 8800gt due to the fact i had no 3pin fan headers on motherboard.

What you would anticipate in this variety of connector. Very good to use as an extension when lacking mb fan headers. Lots of length, employed it in my complete tower. it's not fiber-optic, doesn't light up my case, not photoreactive, doesn't do laundry:-p Very good price for this.

Utilised this molex adapter to power a 3-pin fan I added to my Dell E510 case to cool my tough drives. Cable length is very good. Extremely handy to have about. None.

four-pin Molex to 12V 3-pin fan with Molex pass-through (doesn't consume the Molex). Has a physical pin for pin three (trigger). I don't like pins floating close to my case result in you never know what they may well contact. Could have had an enclosed adapter, so you didn't have to worry about the exposed energy pin if you hot-swapped the fan. I've noticed fan adapters where the molex is a straight adapter (female-in, male-out), without the wiring in between. That style tends to make the case much cleaner, i.e., it doesn't shift the molex down 3 inches. If you have too several of this variety in series, you have a single genuinely long cable.

Operates completely. Working with it to power a ZEROtherm GX815 VGA Cooler. None! No thoughts here.

does what its supposed to do the pins inside the four pin connectors are a little loose and wiggle about in the connector a small bit. they take some patients to connect but not a big deal they are nonetheless functionally sound

does what it is supposed to do doesn't have a wire that you hook to the 3 pin header so it will tell you the fan speeds description not quite right, you get what you pay for

Gets the job completed and is alot less costly than the adapter Startech.com sells. None I not too long ago purchased a new CPU fan that is made to run at only a single speed. Even so my motherboard controls the CPU fan speed. So I generally necessary an uninterrupted power source for my CPU fan and this adapter did the trick. By plugging straight into the power supply the motherboard can't adjust the quantity of electrical energy the CPU fan gets.

It turns 1 variety of power thingy into a different. Is is magic? NO! It's a Link Depot fan adapter!! Great length. None. I like Link Depot stuff. You can say a wire's a wire, but they seem to make excellent wires. In no way had a issue with their products and I've bought every thing from this adapter to IDE cables to ethernet cables. Excellent simple Computer demands. Thanks LD! And of program Newegg gets these factor to me in a timely manner!

The 4 pin plug is siamese -- so you have both a male and a female plug. Note that the 3 pin connector is MALE, not female. This means that you can\'t use this connector to plug into the fan control ports on a motherboard. So I'm not certain why 1 would use it. It seriously is a 3 pin to 4 pin adapter.

Works as expected. None I'm aware of. It is what it is, and if you need it you need to have it. I have absolutely nothing similar to evaluate to, so can not really say if there's one thing superior out there for connecting a three-pin fan to a 4-pin energy supply.

Does what it's supposed to do. Made properly, doesn't really feel low-cost. No instructions. Nonetheless don't know if it has to be hooked up to a drive, or not. My system failed as soon as I connected it. Course that was the MB's fault. Installed an older board and 'had' to use the energy from the drive.

Works just fine. Bought an aftermarket video card cooler. The energy provide on it only had the three pin mobo plug and my situation fan didn't have a energy through choice. None Newegg is Incredible! I did the regular shipping option (cheapest). I left my pc in pieces since I thought it would be a few days till it came in. The cable arrived the Next DAY. Can\'t clarify how great Newegg is... and why I return each time I will need anything.
