It was only 1.99 and does Precisely what it is supposed to. The shipping was four.99! I bought this along with a tube of Arctic Silver. The combined expense of the two merchandise was about 7 bucks. The shipping was just under บ!And it came in an envelope!

Very easily and properly adapts a common four-pin Molex LP4 power jack for use by devices (typically fans) requiring a three-pin connector. I guess the pass-by way of Molex connector could be thought of a "con" if the user is compulsive about clutter inside the case. This adapter was just what I necessary to connect a CPU fan to a motherboard that did not have a three-pin jack readily available. Technically, this is an adapter AND splitter, because it delivers an empty Molex connector in addition to the 3-pin connector. In other words, you don't "use up" the original four-pin jack when you connect this device. If you are short on Molex connectors and want to connect one particular or additional fans, you'll really like this function.Note, the modest jack only connects two of the 3 leads, for straight 12volt power. Don't count on to get the third connector (for temperature or energy management) from this, or any other, adapter. That facts can only come from the motherboard, whereas this power is coming from a really easy connector generally meant for disk drives. (The pass-via Molex jack is totally wired, of course.)I do not know why people are commenting about it becoming "flimsy" or whatever. It appears fine to me.

It performs and it is affordable. None, truly... It turns out I didn't need this after all. I had an extra fan connector on my motherboard. I had forgotten that I replaced the motherboard a couple of months ago at the time I purchased the fan. Nonetheless, now I AM out of fan connectors on the mobo, so I will need to have it for the subsequent 1 of those fans I am about to obtain! :)

Does its job, doesn't take up a molex connector since of the male to female adaptor. I ordered 6 of these and 2 of the male pins got pushed through the plastic housing. Not bad item, be confident to purchase much more for this cheap value to get shipping and expense down.

Functions...My psu did not come with any connectors like this so...........picked up two for my front two case fans. No issues operating! A little lengthy of a cord...I don't want all the extra slack. None.
