Linksys Expert AE2500 Wireless Network MIMO Dual Band USB Adapter 802.11B/G/N *Refurb
Cons:None yet
Pros:Good priceEasy setupSolid connection Comment:
Surprisingly good performance for the price. Comparing it to my other USB adapter, that cost twice as much, it seems to actually have faster transfer speeds and hasn't dropped a connection yet. Would purchase again if I need another in the future. |

Linksys Expert AE2500 Wireless Network MIMO Dual Band USB Adapter 802.11B/G/N *Refurb
Cons:Hot, little bit too wide(block other USB port on notebook)
Pros:Easy connectivity, Reliable, Cheap, 5Ghz Comment:
Bought it for replacing my WiFi network with 5Ghz to avoid crowded hotspots on 2.4Ghz, and it works really well. No lagging or packet losing observed yet, and I get the same speed as on wire. The only concern I have now is that it burns little bit too hot after heavy using... |

Cons:None to note currently
Pros:Works great, reliable, no issues so far Comment:
I bought this so I wouldn't have to cut a hole in a wall to run a LAN cable to my computer in another room. Computer is roughly 20m from my router, I never get any lower than 4bars (my router is a Cisco E4200 v1 refurb from NCIX).Great price and works exactly as I need it. |

Cons:Wacky Wireless Wednesday
Pros:Cost $10, It is a bargain. Comment:
It acts all funny, A Wacky Wireless Adapter. The data stream sometimes is like way up & then way down then way up wacky stock Chart style. But most of the time it is a stable data stream, little ripples. |

Linksys Expert AE2500 Wireless Network MIMO Dual Band USB Adapter 802.11B/G/N *Refurb
Cons:bad linux support
Pros:small form factor does not impede access to nearby ports Comment:
got this one bundled with a router. I would not have bought it in its own right. despite the bad reports on the web I got it to work in Linux. There is a typo / bug in the drivers both on the CD and on Cisco's website download at the time of writing. Edit bcmwlhigh5.inf (the fix is trivial) to install properly on Linux as well as on 64bit XP |

Linksys Expert AE2500 Wireless Network MIMO Dual Band USB Adapter 802.11B/G/N *Refurb
Cons:Driver installation was frustrating to get it to work, but on no fault of Cisco, see summary for further details.
Pros:Decent price for a wireless dual band adapter. Cisco provides drivers from XP to Win7. No performance issues related to USB power. Comment:
Got this with the bundle for E4200. Didn't have a need for it but decided to test it out anyways. I had a major issue installing the driver. Under my Windows 7 64b, it would install, the device would show up with proper drivers under Device Manager, and it would show up under the Network Adapters. However, it simply WOULD NOT ENABLE no matter what I tried. Computer restarts, stop/start under device manager, re-install driver, etc. Googled it and turns out the problem was my firewall. Stopping the exiting Zonealarm and installing drivers would not work. I had to uninstall Zonealarm and install the drivers, finally this USB adapter worked. Connected fine, speeds seemed high, didn't bother trying to push it. Note I did read that this doesn't perform well if your USB port doesn't supply enough power so lowering hte power would see performance increases; I plugged it into the back of my motherboard and tested 100%/75%/50% and didn't find any performance change so /shrug. |

Cons:None
Pros:Cheap connects at 300mbps Comment:
Nice price for a refurbNo concerns and works excellent. No packaging or anything included. |
Installation was simple with the wizard that Linksys provided. surprisingly better connection then the PCI wireless card I had before considering my system is 10m away from the router and there's several walls in the between them.
