I found that the router is affordable and easy to use. The problem with it is my main desk top will go on and off line frequently while connected to the router. If you dont mind the occasional disturbance in service that typically last a second or two then this is the product for you yet I do suggest if you do anything important to where you cant have a disturbance then unplug the router and use your internet directly until done with what your doing.

Followed set up directions as illustrated on CD. Had to call the comopany to set it up because it didn't work even though I was doing everything correctly.

This came recommended by my techi son-in-law and he set it up for me. My daughter is so pleased that she can easily use it for her laptop.

I got rid of my DIR-825 for this one. Love the WRT54G2. Only shortfall is lack of a reboot button in the admin web site.

Works perfectly with DD-WRT. DD-WRT is very easy to install via TFTP. I have not tried using Tomato firmware. Recommended for a cheap DD-WRT wireless router.

Purchased this router back in April and have had no issues with it since. Located in an upper room, it still provides a strong signal to my living room for my laptop. Also have had no issues with it for my iphone. Purchased this based on a recommendation from a techie, and have been very happy.

my first wireless router, had to change all info for my new laptop and my wired pc had help from cable company and been working fine for last month great security features and gets on line super fast and not dropped like before well made unit.very satisfied with Cisco product

I have purchased two of these. One for my home and one for my Mom's house. I installed the unit at my house without any problem and it works excellent. Had my 15 y/o son install the unit at my Mom's house and it works perfect as well. No problems and great product. And no fuss if you are using the 802.11G or earlier signal. Highly recommened, especially at the price offered by (the site).. Jeff

Works great. Using one at home for full-house coverage, and another one at work, connected to an existing westell router to expand coverage. Only complaint is the additional linksys software doesn't work well, and I had to uninstall for everything to work properly.

I purchased this router to replace an earlier one that just didn't seem to work. I was hestitate about this one but so far it's been great. I've been able to connect my desktop and laptop and so far everything is working fine. I was also able to get my printers connected. The instructions were clear and easy to follow.

This unit has been up and running for a week and has worked flawlessly with up to 6 devices connecting wirelessly. The Web Interface is easy to work with. I especially like that you can control the times of days that certain computers can access the net. Setup was quick and easy - I didn't use the Auto-Setup, just logged in to the router with the admin user name and password and setup the security etc...

Directions were too simple and seems to have missed a step. Tried the directions 2x and then went my own way to connect it. My way worked the first time. Only been a few days and see remarkable improvement but may have cable modem issue. So far, very satisfied. If it is the Motorola Surfboard modem taking a dump, I am still please with the purchase of this modem. Easy to install if you don't follow the directions, having done similar in the past. This store is prompt and speedy in communication and I recommend purchases here. Paypal is another reason I give hats off to this company. Will purchase again from here in the future. No worries.

After trying two other brands and more expensive I might add, I thought I was in for another let down with this Linsys. But I have been pleasantly surprised with this easy to set up, hassle free router. We have a computer in the shop, a desktop in the office in the house and of course the laptop. Even when the power when out, it reset itself without skipping a heartbeat. And last but not least, it's great to use just the one printer/fax/copier instead of two. I'm a believer!!!

I had tried a belkin wireless G/MIMO Router, a highly rated TP LINK router, and both highly rated routers dropped wireless connections more times than P Hilton drops her pants. This is a dependable, easy to set up, and has not hiccuped since I hooked it up about 3 months ago. Excellent laptop connection and Xbox 360 Live gaming. Would definitely buy once again. Thumbs up to for not switching to DHL Shipping like your competition did. Have a great day!

I plugged this in and haven't looked back. I now have two Windows XP machines (1 desktop and one laptop), and a Mac (OS X 10.4.11) running off of this router. All Perfectly. Setup was a freakin' breeze, and I haven't had so much as a hiccup (and it's been running for about 2 and a half weeks solid).

This router is great. Never even used the software as I set these things up in my sleep. Took all of 90 seconds to put all the settings I wanted in with all the Security cranked up. Rock on with Linksys and go for this nice $50 wireless router! Currently hooked up using cable, xbox, and pc...

This product will work only if this is the only router that you have in your system. If you already have a DSL/Cable router and try to install this as an excess point then good luck. The set up software is pathetic and direct set up using web utility will not accomplish much. After spending 8 hours trying to make this work I gave it up and went and bought a very cheap G router switch from a local store. It worked in five minutes. The moral is that a product from a big name company may not be the greatest. I used to buy Linksys products when they were Linksys. Not any more. Thanks.
