Responsive, mouse weight is customizable which was the primary cause I purchased this item somehow created too widemiddle-wheel is not responsive for copy/paste below linux/unixthe discount was a joke, immediately after three month I nonetheless have the promotion from Logitech :-) Not a negative item but not a advised one - acquire a Razor rather if you need to have a superior mouse, at least I bought one simply because this item was was disappointing overall.

Logitech 910-001152 G9X Laser Mouse
Cons:Not perfectly comfortable for me, no option to dim/turn off LEDs, no ring/pinky-side buttons

Pros:Customizable weighting, DPI/macro button profiles, nice textured top and shell, ability to swap freely between stepped/smooth wheel scrolling, choice of shells, easy-to-reach thumb and DPI-adjust buttons
Comment:
This is the highest-end mouse I've owned; previously I've used mostly non-gaming and ambidextrous mice so this is a big step up.I really appreciate how customizable the mouse is; some things might be overhyped (e.g. weights, which I basically fiddled with once and haven't changed since) but even those features are welcome. The mouse isn't perfectly comfortable for me, though it is contoured. Ideally, I'd have liked an MX Revolution-style contouring.

Comment:
All round fantastic mouse for gaming, world wide web browsing, and just finding stuff performed. Highly customizable so you really should be able to regard it as comfortable to use regardless of your individual preference or idiosyncracies. Weight, grip, dpi, scroll speed, scroll texture, pointer speed, and led color are all customizable. Also uncomplicated profile toggling implies that you can readily dial up your preferences for a distinct game or circumstance. For instance, when I play counterstrike source I want a clicky scroll wheel, medium dpi about 1600, and higher sensitivity. When I play modern day warefare two I want high dpi around 4800 and medium to low sensitivity. With this mouse I can go among such setting by basically clicking 2 buttons. Also fantastic for Linux OS's exactly where you do not have manage over the mouse middle button scroll speed. Just make the scroll wheel free of the clicks and you can scroll about true rapidly. Perfectly compatible with Linux, just have access windows os (wine maybe?) to set u If you have any complaints regarding comfort or utility, then you have not had the patience to set it up. It actually is quite customizable. The only comfort caveat I could have is that it does favor the correct hand over left, but for most persons that really should not be a problem.Lead to my Hackintosh to Kernel panic. Could just be hackintosh/osx86 weirdness. I was changing profiles on the mouse and given that it interfaces with mouse drivers on your os it probably did something weird. Have not tested it out with a standard mac. No matters with Windows or Linux based OS'sIt is expensive. Would want to acquire 1 for every single personal computer I use but that would not be inexpensive. May trigger to you waste more hours of your life on gaming considering that playing games will be a substantially much more enjoyable and comfy experience with this mouse My search for the excellent mouse is more than. I have purchased and gone via fairly a couple of. General Logitech is my goto brand for human interface peripherals, and seeing as how this is a bit of a flagship item, I am not shocked that I truly truly like it. It's high-priced but you will not feel compelled to get yet another mouse for a good lengthy time if not forever. General very worth the cost

Comment:
Feels terrific, the weight control takes time to set up but it worth it. I located the smoother casual top was a lot more comfortable for me mainly because you can rest your thumb on the lip. Like a lot of other people have stated, the middle mouse button takes time to get employed to. I had a Microsoft Habu ahead of this and I really like it. It doesn't have 12 buttons like the WoW mouse but I don't think it's worth spending 贄 for a mouse that works with 1 game. I would advise this mouse to anybody.

Logitech 910-001152 G9X Laser Mouse
Cons:- The second grip that they give you is thin causing button to activate

Pros:- Customizable weights, profile- Nice cable
Comment:
This is probably one of my favorite mice I have used so far. It has many nice features like set profiles, good dpi range, and customizable weights and grips. The only thing I found was that the second grip is thinner on the left side. When I was gaming with it, I put some pressure on the left side which caused the forward and backwards buttons to activate. This isn't a problem when you're not gaming. Aside that small problem, everything is good. Just make sure to see if the mouse feels good on you're hands before purchasing.

Comment:
Precise, a lot of buttons, on-the-fly sensitivity adjustment ? I am perfectly pleased with the generic driver Microsoft delivers and don't use Logitech's software. The buttons on the side are nonetheless valuable even with out their software program. I didn't purchase the mouse at full value so I'm not concerned about not getting able to use the onboard memory feature. Some people today have mentioned the middle button click being a small challenging to press. It was at very first but you either get utilised to it or it gets a little easier after a week or so.Surely a very good obtain, I hope it lasts just as lengthy as my MX300 did, which was a extremely, incredibly long time well past its warranty.

Logitech 910-001152 G9X Laser Mouse
Cons:led colour on front cant be changed and is default read even though you can change lasor colour, didn't like the no sweat other cover.

Pros:nice feal, great design, custum weight, nice cord.
Comment:
A great mouse at a great buy, I got this after my other mouse I had since 2005 was getting to me.The mouse cord is good material, it reminds me of those Thermaltake management cables that prevent fraying.I like the customs weight design as it allows you to customized the amount of Resistance,. I didn't like the fact that even with software you couln;t change the colour or turn off the led indicators on the front that tell you the scan rate of the laser, i dont like the red and would have liked to have turned it off or dimmed it since it gives you options for everything else but that.I didn't like the alternate shell, it reminds me of a spray paint they use on boats or underside of bathtubs, that gran feel, its meant for no sweat and gaming, but im a a gamer and like the default smooth cover (wider).overall a great mouse, that doesnt pinch your wrist in a upward manner so you can stave off carpal for a few more years.I give it three stars just for the fact the led was a big deal.

Comment:
Looks excellent. Potential to pick among two covers so it can fit your hand to your liking, one getting wider than the other. You can switch between four levels of DPI with a button right beside your finger, the higher it goes the faster it moves. And it DOES move rapid. Fantastic for gaming precision. Braided USB cable it very nice. The middle scroll button feels kind of cheap. The scroll button on the mouse has two modes, 1 where there is feedback and you can feel it click as you scroll, and the other being a entirely totally free spinning mode. When it's in "free mode" you can flick it with your finger and it will literally spin for like 30 secs. I guess mainly because it's got those two modes, that's why it feels low-cost when you're scrolling by way of stuff like internet pages. I guess the scrolling factor is me being type of picky, it genuinely is, like the title says, a SOLID PERFORMER.

I truly like this mouse. I like anything about it, virtually. Would be greater to have the dpi buttons operated by the thumb. The other con I have is that when gaming, my typical fps goes from 34 or higher to 8 to ten! I have looked on forums on the world wide web and have identified a lot of people today with the very same difficulty but no solutions. I am employing the mouse with an Alienware m17x laptop. All of my drivers are updated for almost everything. I was using a Logitech trackball prior to and didn't have any difficulties. I just bought a Razer Imperator last night to see if I have a problem with it also. I will keep you posted.

If you're a excellent to decent player in most FPS's, you ought to take it to the subsequent level with a good mousepad and mouse. Due to the improved sensitivity, my accuracy has been increased considerably. It takes a few days of play to get applied to it, and find your preferred range - but once you do, you're golden. I've had wonderful achievement with this mouse. Not cost-free.

- Solid construction Ɠ years of heavy use with no fail)- Accuracy, still great for gaming- 5700 dpi good for high resolution monitors (I use a 30'' IPS)- Profiles stored in mouse- Works excellent on Razer Mantis pads- Precision Grip- Weights- A fine companion for lan parties The wide-load grip began peeling in just a year. I've devote hundreds on mice more than the years from MS, Razer to Logitech, and this is my preferred by far. In fact this is the only device from my old computer that I have not replaced for 3 years and I typically upgrade my computer just about every year. The G9x could be the only mouse that I will use till it malfunctions, it is a keeper!

Great for most grips-primarly clawcpi adjustment in increments of 100Even though the wheel looks the very same as the g700 and g500 it is a lot more sturdy.Programable buttons that can have macros with set point.Set point is only necessary to configure the mouse and use macros. You may uninstall it if you don't want it.There is no efficiency impact from set point just memory usage.(Set point 6.two I did not use any other version as this is the most recent.)Customize the lights colorYou can configure a cpi switching mode and profile switching mode.So cpi and profiles can be switched independently on the fly.Superb trakingSlides nicelyadjustable polling rate (Note this can effect efficiency if you cpu isn't fast enough to deal with the additional work. Also the distinction between 1000Hz and 125 is negligible and thats only at high frame rates at least over 60 per second.) Bad gimmick wheel. Although it is far more sturdy than the other two mice it needs to present just a bit far more resistance. Cost-free spinning wheels have no place on mice like this and the free spin/click mode lock button is on the bottom of the mouse so when again it would take you longer to switch to free of charge spin the similar as it is to use the wheel as opposed to the household, end, page up/down button or just dragging or clicking the box where you want it. The wheels middle button is also tough to use as it has such a modest range of movement the slightest bit of relax on it will disengage it which lead to it being pressed down difficult. There is also not sufficient room of movement between the tilt left/right buttons as from time to time when I press middle I will get tilt left or when holding down middle due to the fact you will end up pushing tough to make sure it doesn't come undone I will sometime get left tilt thus lifting up on the middle button.Worthless weight tuningunbalanced It's heavy in the back The weight tuning is worthless because the weights can only be added to the back when the weight desires to be added at the front. The mouse's weight is mostly at the back as is. You can remove the weight tray to reduce weight at the back a bit. This mouse is ideal for claw or finger tip grips but is also great for a 3 finger palm grip Ɠ fingers on leading) but is terrible for a two finger palm grip ƒ fingers on best).Of the two grips that come with this the precision grip is ideal for claw whilst the wide load is best for finger tip or 3 finger palm. The bare mouse is also superior for finger tip if you have smaller hand but the side buttons turn into challenging to press. You may well prefer wide load for a claw grip if you have huge hands.Don't be fooled buy the look of this mouse in images. I didn't think of obtaining this mouse at very first due to the fact it looked weird in the picture but right after reading about ALOT I got it and am incredibly please aside from the wheel.

i have employed mostly razer in the past and all of them at some point or yet another have given me trouble which includes the mamba. getting an avid PC gamer there's a couple of things that i appear for in a mouse, adjustable DPI with the highest being in the 5000's, a superior contour to me hand, some added buttons, and reliability. hands down the g9x cover's all of those to the "T". i mean how can u turn down a logitech that has specs that compare to or beat all other high end mice. this is Very minor, but in totally free spin the wheel is off-set sufficient that when scrolling the second your finger leaves the wheel it will move slightly in the opposite direction that you where scrolling. Sidewinder X8 = fail, razer lachesis = fail, razer deathadder = fail, razer mamba = fail, logitech g9x = win
