I have the Pro 9000 at function and this model (C910) at house. Almost everything about the C910 is as great as or superior than the 9000 (the 9000 is a seriously excellent webcam and not simple to strengthen upon IMO). The only spot I believe they went backwards is with the holddown mechanism. I don't know if it's the truth that the 9000's principal arm goes straight back, allowing the rotating gripper arm to have more leverage or what, but the 9000 just holds much more securely. For a standard monitor I don't assume you'd notice. We use the C910 exclusively on a Laptop (which has a thinner case than an LCD monitor) creating this difficulties is far more pronounced. I wouldn't call this a show stopper, but just be aware that by going with this model you shed a little amount of holding power especially on laptops. The 9000 I use is perform owned, otherwise I would truly put the 9000 on my laptop (moving backwards technologically) and put the C910 on my desktop. On a Desktop monitor, it's hardly noticable.

Really sharp image quality Rightlight is just not functioning very properly, slight bluish tinge to video stream. I anticipate this camera to get much better with new drivers.All in all the best camera from logitech so far, however if you own a 9000 series webcam, the differences are marginal and not worth upgrading at this point.

Stays on the monitor of my desktop fantastic. The video high quality is wonderful and I'm told that the audio is quite clear. This is a important upgrade from a Rosewill pro web cam(~ฮ) I was employing. I dropped 1 egg simply because some "features" are not included free of charge. For facial recognition capabilities you have to have subscriptions. Not a huge con for the cam itself but slightly misleading on the advertising.Very heavy CPU usage. Resulted in me finally making use of the overclocking capacity of computer. If you want to play you have pay. Not as impressed by the rightlight technology as I although I would be. I have a QC6600 on a EVGA 680i mobo with only the processor liquid cooled. I have found couple of occasions I needed to overclock even with a triple monitor setup and hardcore multitasking but this webcam is kinda the straw that broke the camel's back.

Excellent general high quality. I see improvement from my Logitech 9000 which is also yet another great webcam. The software features are great with this new C910. Most software package packages are a waste of time but Logitech did a good job with this a single. Refresh rate is very very good and the auto concentrate functions great. Also has a powerful mic and the blue LED lighing is a nice touch. Could be a tiny far better balance for sitting on top of a laptop screen or a different swing arm design for much better stability. Not a show stopper for laptop users, just a note for future models for men and women reading from Logitech.

This is by far the best webcam I have ever owned or even seen for that matter. It has stunning video and picture quality over any program. It has great software and drivers for all the little features that I dont use but they are kind of neat. I wish there was an solution to select any sort of compression like AVC or Xvid.
