The biggest problem with this item is the battery life. It lasts for about 6-7 hours before you have to recharge, which for most people won't be a hassle. However, if you are a hardcore gamer and want a cheaper wireless headset, this will work but be advised: if you keep the thing plugged in, the socket will expand. This is what lead to my devices demise. I would plug it in while using it and the power socket eventually expanded and short circuited. So now I have a useless 70 dollar wireless RF headset sitting in a box.

I have been using this wireless headset since Logitech's release of this product (so over a year as of this date). The battery life will improve in the future. But the power to last long for a couple of hours is really great even at more than one year of use (how long will your laptop battery last and compare that to this battery size). Value is decent, I wish it was even cheaper (around $50) so I can buy some more comfortably. I will definitely wait for the next generation of these wireless headsets from logitech. For the reviewer pipero. There is a volume control on the right ear piece. It surrounds the mute button. Press up (volume up) and down (volume down). Easy piezy.

I've had this product for about 2 months, and use it primarily for Skype international calls and listening to music. The sound quality is great from countries that often don't have good, dependable, connections. My music comes through crisp and clear. LOve it!

The Logitech ClearChat PC Wireless headset is great. The battery on it doesnt last that long (maybe a couple hours with music on) but the cord is long enough and convenient to plug in while in use. Its very comfortable and the sound is okay. You can walk about 30-40ft away before it cuts out. Overall, a little pricey but worth it.

Very nice headset. I mostly use this for Skype phone calls, but it works well for gaming and music too. My only complaint is when the battery runs low there is no warning before it shuts off. I have recommended this headset to several friends, 2 have bought it and are happy with it.

they are light it charges up fairly quick and you get preaty good distance on it. just don't microwave any popcorn when having a conversation cause you'll hear it. but other than that, they are solid the volume is preaty loud and is easy to install.

This headseat is really wonderful, the sound is crystal clear, voice chat is really good with this. The only really down side is the length the charge lasts, seems like it doesn't last long enough. All in all I am very pleased with this headset.

I got this headset to remove the wires from my keyboard area when playing pc games. This headset is very comfortable, and easy to adjust. When you adjust it, it holds the adjustment very well. Took a little fiddling with on my computer to get them to run just for voice in games, and not replace my speakers fully. The headphone speakers are very clear and as far as I can tell so is the microphone. The volume and mute buttons are very easy to use. Also, the distance you can walk away from the reciever and still clearly is good. Don't expect to be able to go outside with it though and get a good signal, unless outside is on the other side of the wall.

I use this device daily for my work and I had it for 2 weeks and only charged it once. I had a previous head set were the person on the other side always told me that they couldn't hear me; I have no problem with this item.

This is my first wless headset. It was easy to setup & use. Sound quality is good. There are a few glitches: mic muting switch & mute light doesn't always work. It is pretty heavy, and not as comfortable as other wired headset I have. Batteries don't last as long as advertised (I'd say a couple hours max). I wish there was a volume control on it.

first the good: wireless is amazing even for gaming...i chat with my friends and it sounds great. I can mute and control volume directly from the headset very easily! huge +. i dont need to use push to talk because the the mute button. Also the mic has a red light on it when muted so you dont make that mistake. ::::the bad: the sound screws up every once in a while(yes i do have a lot of wireless devices within 50 feet). It will either go garbled for a few seconds or cut out for a split second. it does it next to my computer somewat but more often farther away. it doesnt matter for me since i'm gaming but i wouldnt want to use this as a business phone

My business purchased 2 of these. We were looking for something to listen to music with while working, but also with the capability to answer our VOIP softphones. The first issue started right away...interference. About every 15-20 minutes we'd get 5-10 seconds of jarbled sound, whether you're just listening to music, or on the phone. Even with the usb receiver only 1 foot away. I called Logitech and spoke with someone on this issue. Luckily while on the phone with him he heard this interference on his end. His answer: Do not use any other wireless device within 500 feet of the Logitech wireless headset. What? Really? This is your solution? We and our neighbors use so many wireless devices (mice, keyboards, routers) this wasn't a feasible solution. The last problem is that the cheap plastic they're made of broke on both headsets after a couple months us

Great headset, can walk all around my house. Works great on vent, gaming, and cleaning the house while listening to music. I have gone through many headsets in my life and this one seems to be the most durable and well thought out. Not to mention the wireless part of it.

WOW!!!! Kudos to Logitech, Unbelievable set. It says operating distance 30 feet from the USB stick, but I have been walking around the house (computer being in the basement) and the quality of the sound was superb so as the microphone sensitivity with a noise cancelling technology, you cant hear anything BUT the voice of the speaker. I use Skype as my home phone and this thing blew me away. It's a must have set in the house. Buy one and you won't be sorry.

Bought this unit for $95 to use in the office. Sound quality is very clear and as good, if not better, than my corded Logitech USB Clear Comfort chat. People have commented that the mic is also clearer.Increasing/decreasing volume is easy, as is muting.The ear piece seems to block out exterior sound better than my corded version.Have gone 60 feet away from base without problems so far.Unlike the Jawbone 2, which I found terrible for music playback, this headset can pump out music and talk on an IP phone very well. I purchased the Logitech ClearChat PC Wireless headset for my son this last Christmas. And in all honesty, I was blown away by the quality, comfort, noise canceling and how great everything sounded. Even when we walked far away from the computer it performed superbly! When I think about how many times I'm aware of the wires around me and not to trip over my other headsets, using this Logitech wireless is so cool now that I have to retrain myself into thinking there is no wire anymore! Since I use Skype and YM a lot, it's so enjoyeable that I can walk away from the computer and still talk and do business. And above all that praise, I can also say they are comfortable and both music and voice quality all sound great. My son loves them, and I immediately fell in love with them too and will soon purchase a pair for myself.

Worth the money you paid for with good clear chat and sound great on Skype! It's easy to setup and workable on all the computers that I have owned.

I tried using the Plantronics over-the-head bluetooth headset but these clearly leave those in the dust for both comfort, talk time and usability.The sound quality is excellent with great background noise cancellation. You can also turn the headset off without windows having to unload the driver. Unlike the Bluetooth headset which would disconnect and promptly switch to desktop.You can route the voice communication over the headset and leave the game running over the speakers. Works wonders for hearing everyone.
