Logitech G13 Advanced Gameboard
Cons:-As others have mentioned, there is a learning curve.

Pros:-Comfortable-Design-Was on sale for $68.98, so somewhat decent price
Comment:
No complaints from my friend thus far, once he got used to it. Besides that it does what it was designed to do. And so on and so forth.

Works well with some extra features as well
Comment:
This key pad works very well has a few nice extra features as widgets. The ergo design is nice but I still felt hand fatigue after playing online MMO's for an hour or so. I bought it to replace my old Zboard Fang, but am unsure I will since its key layout is not as intuative as the Fang, I found even after several days of using it I am still stumbling around sometimes to figure out which button do what.. Mainly because of unlabeled button compared to the Fang and having to use the M buttons to switch between 2 layouts since it does have a few keys less than the Fang. Overall I believe if you have never used a simialr type of keypad it would feel perfect to most users.

Logitech G13 Advanced Gameboard
Cons:Joystick doesn't double as mouse

Pros:Comfortable, well-designed
Comment:
I'm not a gamer; I have bought this to extend a G19's macro capabilities for work purposes. I love the design of this: while the screen is more reminiscent of the G15 than the G19, the ergonomics of the device are exceptional, the Logitech software drives both the G13 and the G19 well, independently, and to the maximum of their capacities, and the device is otherwise great-looking and fun to use.

Logitech G13 Advanced Gameboard
Cons:pricedivot could be deeper

Pros:so many buttonssoftware is greatcomfortable
Comment:
This is way better than the n52te. I use this primarily to play FPS games. with the n52te i'm finding myself missing a lot of function especially if you're choosing different weapons because of a lack of keys/buttons. This is the best gamepad that I have ever owned... hands down! Only complaint is the divot where the WASD keys supposed to be should have been deeper.

The Best
Comment:
Well all I can say is Great this G13 replaced my Nostromo N52 which was good in its day but this G13 is a lot better then the N52 it doesn't more around like the N52 and has a lot more buttons to use which was needed on the N52 plus the LCD screen on the G13 is sweet. But if you have small hands you might not like the G13 but the programing on the G13 is very easy to program which I have heard that the new N52te is junk software thats why I didn't get the N52te glad Logitech came out with the G13 the Quality it great as always with Logitech Products. I have been using game pads for over 10 years and have tried them all and the G13 is hands down the Best one yet, just wish the price of it wasn't so high but I guess thats what you have to do if you want Quality.

Logitech G13 Advanced Gameboard
Cons:* Learning curve (PEBCAK)

Pros:* Easy to setup* Comfortable
Comment:
I got this expecting to be able to switch over without any issues. I've been playing games for so long that I'm very set in my ways. I spent days trying to get used to it then ended up selling it on ebay.

Logitech G13 Advanced Gameboard
Cons:-Not as small as i thought it would be-Learning Curve, very painful to get used to.-if one key is mis set, completely throw your game off.-No spacebar!, my thumb is sitting on a joystick! the 2 grey buttons are clicky.

Pros:-Pretty Much any key on your keyboard, anywhere on that gamepad.-Comfortable-Colour Changing LCD
Comment:
Overall this is a great gameboard, but i would probably buy again, but.. very painful for me to use the first few days.I havent tried this on any MMO's yet, im sure this is where the gameboard will excel, i have tried Cod5, l4d, and tf2. so far so good.I cannot wait to try this on the new mmo that is coming out. Starwars the old republic!I also had problems with the software though.. im using Vista Home 64bit, when i finish setting the program. it just keeps saying transferring profile to g13, stays like that until i restart the LCD manager.

Great option for gameing keyboard replacement
Comment:
I love the totally and easily programable keys and the lcd display. So far the only issue I have is getting the keys where I want them, and to learn to play my games on the game pad instead of the keyboard.

Staying with my N52
Comment:
I am an FPS'er. I LOVE my N52 except it needs just a couple of more keys. So when I saw the Logi G13, I was very excited. FINALLY, someone came up with a gameboard w/ more buttons! So yeah, it has more buttons, but I am lost with out the "vertical positioning" of the D-pad that the N52 has. The position of the D-pad is in the natural position for my thumb to push the buttons. In other words I'm not pushing down to activate, I'm pushing left. I can not do that with the G13. and because the "joystick" is free flowing, I don't get a positive "push". This inadvertenly leads to a wrong command and this is not acceptable. The gameboard itself is very high quality and feels very well made. I can see this being useful for other types of games, but the loss of 4 commands (critical to me - jump, reload, enter for accepting commands, and tab for scoreboard) kills it for me. I tried to change these around, but it's just not the same. If the stick could be interchang

Nostromo N52 to G13
Comment:
I was a little reluctant giving up my Nostromo. Ive used the N50, then the N52 for the past 8 years. It was a toss up between the G13 and the N52Te and decided on the G13 due to Logitechs exceptional quality. Findings: The quality!! This is one solid product, and built extremely well. Size: I dont have the largest hands, but the N52 was a tad on the small side. I found my hand would start cramping over extended periods of gaming. Not with the G13. It fitsjust perfect. LCD display: Well, I wondered if I would really get a lot of use out of it? It has mass amounts of programming capabilities, but things I didnt feel would be useful; RSS feeds, ect. But as I was playing around with it, I launched Core Tempits a free program you can download to monitor CPU temp/load. Anyway, when I looked down at the LCD screen, it was displaying it on thererather cool if you ask me. Anyway, Thanks for your $1.99 shipping and fast shipping!.

Logitech G13 Advanced Gameboard
Comment:
I've had the G13 now for a few months. It is great. It's very comfortable to use for long gaming sessions. Also, the macro software is the same as the G11 and G15 keyboards. If you have both it even links them together. It's so easy to use and very customizable. The only bad things I have to say is that it's a little wide so unless you have big hands you'll need to slide your hand from side to side a bit to reach the buttons. And the price is a bit steep as compared to other gamepads. But I've tried those other gamepads and this is heads above them.

Logitech G13 Advanced Gameboard
Cons:Thumb controls should be at more of an angle similar to the n52, Joystick instead of a flat D-Pad, Key spacing is a little wide (this is a plus and minus)

Pros:More keys than the n52, on the fly binds, 3 stored sets of key binds, On-device storage of settings, LCD + Backlight colors, Comfortable,
Comment:
I have been a long time user of a n52 and prefer game pads over keyboards. I generally play FPS and RTS games.I decided upon the G13 because it has more keys than the n52 and it has the LCD screen which I love. I have a G15 but I find the keyboard much to large, this way I can get rid of it and still have the LCD.First off I love the on the fly binding. It's made setting up the keys a lot easier than the n52. When I first setup the G13 I used the same button layout as my n52, after playing I realized I would have to move some of the buttons so they were easier to use. On the fly let me re-bind a key in 5 seconds flat. The keys are a little further spaced than a normal keyboard or the n52 so it will take some getting use to. I had this issue on the G15 as well.I've only played CSS and FarCry 2 during the past week and am starting to find the G13 just as easy to use as the n52. Once in a while I'll still misplace my fingers, but for the most part I never have to think about it.The feel of the G13 is very comfortable and playing for a few hours straight caused no strain. My main complaint is that the joystick on the thumb area isn't as user friendly as a normal flat d-pad. It could have been angled a little more like the n52. If Logitech changed this one feature I would give it 5 stars. The old Logitech gamepads use to have the option of screwing a little joystick into the center of the d-pad. I think this would have been a better idea.Overall I like this product and I'm happy with it. Hopefully Logitech will make a revision and update  the joystick to a d-pad.

Comment:
This is the first gameboard the I've had. I've been playing with it for some time now and couldn't be more satisfied. I think it's a great product. I've got it paired with a G15 Keyboard and thought that two LCD displays would be redundant, but they aren't I've got one setup to display my in game info and one setup to display Ventrilo info. It's great. The quality and feel seems good so far. I'm still getting used the the joystick though.
